This is an excellent hotel with a very well equipped gym, saunas and steam room. Of particular note is the very high level of service by all staff and particularly those at reception. After a day of traveling then dragging yourself into the lobby it is wonderful to be met by cheerful and efficient people.

We stayed for one night, mainly because the hotel advertises its spa and indoor pool area. Unfortunately, this was a major disappointment. For an entire hotel, there are only four loungers in the pool area, which makes it impossible to relax or “chill” as advertised. The three saunas are very small and were extremely overcrowded. Breakfast was equally underwhelming: even though there was still about an hour left, many items were already empty. The juices were clearly cheap syrup-based drinks and tasted unpleasant. Overall, the facilities do not live up to the hotel’s marketing, especially considering the focus on the spa area.

Be warned the parking it not cheap and in the area a big problem. We had an issue with the bed and the pictures show a balcony the room we got did not have one BUT the staff are lovely, and the hotel is nice with a great wellness centre

Gut gelegenes Hotel, man ist mit der Straßenbahn in kürzester Zeit in der Innenstadt. Die Zimmer Richtung Park sind sehr leise. Das Hotel ist schön eingerichtet. Es gibt sehr viele Parkplätze, die zum Hotel gehören. Man zahlt dafür pauschal 25 Euro. Wir haben gut in dem Bett geschlafen.

Delicious and huge breakfast buffet! Stylish interior, but poor air conditioning in lobby and public areas. Modern and functional comfort rooms. Rooms and bathrooms need proper cleaning (socks of predecessor under my bed, dirty toilet and showercabin). Wonderful, but small pool area, which is totally overcrowded in the late evening hours. Maybe it would be a better solution to offer a reservationtime.

Excellent hotel with spotless lobby, bar and restaurant/ breakfast area. Room was nice and light. Great bathroom with walk in shower and bath. Big hotel but so quiet at night. In the middle of a park with tram stop very close to take you to either the beach or the city centre very cheaply. Did not use the restaurant but had a drink in the bar and watched guests being turned away as full. Breakfast was very pleasant..not a huge selection especially hot but no extra charge. All the staff very professional and spoke English. Only one downside and that was 25 euro a night to park the car.

Es war generell hervorragend. Die Lage des Hotels ist super und man kommt auch mit der Bahn schnell zum Strand. Das Hotel insgesamt ist sehr sauber. Das Zimmer hatte zwar fehlende Gegenstände, wie z.B. keine Zahnbürste, die konnte man aber problemlos unten am Empfang erhalten. Beim Zimmerservice wurde dies vergessen. Desweiteren war die Gardine beschmutzt und das Badezimmer war auch zum Teil nicht mehr neu. Aber sonst war es gut. Das Frühstück war lecker und es gab ausreichend Platz für alle Gäste. Die Aussicht auf das Grün aus dem Superior Twin Zimmer war überragend :) Ich würde immer wieder vorbei kommen!! Vielen Dank

We had checked in online prior to arrival which was very straightforward. The hotel is situated right beside a tram stop so very easy to get to from the beach or the city. The entrance could be slightly clearer as it is also the car park entrance but that is not important. We had a warm welcome and were grateful to find out room was available early so we went straight to it. The room was spacious, clean and well presented. It was a twin room with the beds pushed together and the only very slight issue being the edges are soft so you can end up slipping into the gap on occasion. Otherwise the bed, the room and the shower were all excellent. The hotel has a restaurant which we didn't try, we had hotel breakfast on one morning and there was a good selection to choose from, it's worth booking this prior or on arrival to get a cheaper rate. The staff were all helpful and we enjoyed evening cocktails most evenings. The spa and pool are included in the stay and are very nice indeed. Of note, this hotel allows dogs to stay which is great and they do have to be on the lead when inside.

Wir waren 3 Nächte mit Säugling im Hotel und hatten eine Suite gebucht. Leider scheint es moderne und weniger moderne Suiten zu geben. Es scheint, als hätten wir ein Zimmer bekommen, dass schon älter war, da die Suite auf Fotos im Internet teilweise anders aussah und obwohl wir auch explizit eine freistehende Badewanne gewünscht hatten, bekamen wir ein anderes Zimmer. Die Sauberkeit könnte für deutsche Verhältnisse auch deutlich besser sein. Das Frühstück war für 3 Nächte völlig in Ordnung, ausreichend und lecker. Allerdings täglich dasselbe. Parkplatz 25€ pro Tag ist schon happig, dafür direkt vor der Tür. Der SPA Bereich ist schön, jedoch fehlte uns hier eine Möglichkeit, Getränke zu ordern.

Die Rezeption war stets hilfsbereit, die Saunalandschaft trotz der überschaubaren Größe abwechslungsreich, das Frühstück reichhaltig und die Zimmer leise. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen (kein Smart-TV, Vorhänge und einige Möbel beschädigt) und einigen Mitarbeitern im Service fehlt der Blick für die Kleinigkeiten, die den Aufenthalt noch besser gemacht hätten (schmutziges Geschirr wegräumen, Check-Out- Zeiten beim Roomservice beachten etc.). Insgesamt ein guter Aufenthalt.

Lovely room with balcony, the mattress was a bit too soft for us but the room was nice and the staff was kind to arrange for cleaning to be done before we were back for mid day nap for our toddler. Parking on premises and hotel has its own restaurant although there isn't a lot of variety for meals .. regardless of the time of the day is a set (small)menu. Great transport links although the distances are walkable and most of the times though green areas. Would stay again.

Great location, logistically. Room was ok. Bathroom was spacious & clean. Bit…bedsheets need to be cleaner / renewed and bed was old and damaged. Matrasses need to be renewed. Back breaking bad! Just a shame as so else was good. For this level of Hotel beds need to be of better quality.

Wardrobe doors doesn’t close properly, so light thru glass doors was shining all night. After visitor slipper were left in room. Gym was not working from 6:30 as it should be. There were no personal stuff in wellness, was explained that they are late, watter heat in shower in wellness in change room does not regulate, it is so hot. When cheking out as a standart i was asked “how was my stay?” After i said not good, they haven’ ask what was not good. Just after after silence minute commented that stay was already paid. Positive - personal stuff in breakfast erea were very nice.

2nd extended stay here (both times 12 days ). Physical property very nice, great rooms, comfortable bed, great AC, decently run. My reason for only giving it average service is that the personal attention to customers does not equal the high-end that it exudes. Not that I'm looking to be pampered, but when a customer comes to the bar, he/she is the focus point, NOT talking to your co-workers or making pitchers of drinks for later. This is a management problem, as the well groomed and high-end staff, doesn't know how to interact with customers. Frequency is way too low, and attention to customers progress in drink, meal, bill, etc is inattentive. The food: last year the chef was super creative and presented interesting and extremely well prepared fresh ingredients. This year remnants of the same menu still existed, but cooking was 3 notches down, and food seems like it is being used from leftover breakfast buffet ingredients. All this shouldn't take you away from this solid hotel, for the rooms are excellent, and when shopped appropriately the price can be good. My comments are as much for staff as customers: manage better, respect your customers needs and attention, and be the role you exude, a "service-first" establishment.

Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage.. das Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber ! Check in und Check out liefen komplikationslos und schnell. Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich! Ins Zentrum von Den haag sind wir ca. 30 Minuten gelaufen, und zum Strand 20 Minuten. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Pizzeria und Restaurant waren zu Fuß in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Direkt vor dem Hotel gibt es eine Tankstelle mit Starbucks, und die Bahnhaltestelle. Das parken am Hotel war unkompliziert und auch genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Das parken kostet 25€ pro Nacht, was für uns jetzt aber keine Überraschung war. Insgesamt hatten wir einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt!

Excellent hotel with spotless lobby, bar and restaurant/ breakfast area. Room was nice and light. Great bathroom with walk in shower and bath. Big hotel but so quiet at night. In the middle of a park with tram stop very close to take you to either the beach or the city centre very cheaply. Did not use the restaurant but had a drink in the bar and watched guests being turned away as full. Breakfast was very pleasant..not a huge selection especially hot but no extra charge. All the staff very professional and spoke English. Only one downside and that was 25 euro a night to park the car.

Das Hotel liegt auf halbem Weg zwischen Innenstadt und Strand (jeweils nur 4 Stationen mit der Strassenbahn in die jeweilige Richtung). Strassbahnhaltestelle fussläufig in 3 Minuten erreichbar. Wer also einen Stadturlaub mit Strand verbinden möchte ist der gut aufgehoben. Der Strand von Scheveningen ist ca. 1.5km weg, man kann also auch dort hinlaufen und auf dem Weg durch Scheveningen schlendern.

I stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in The Hague for a week and had a great experience. The spa is fantastic, and the gym is good for a hotel. The location is okay, though you need to drive to reach the beach or city center, and there’s little within walking distance. We stayed for one night, mainly because the hotel advertises its spa and indoor pool area. Unfortunately, this was a major disappointment. For an entire hotel, there are only four loungers in the pool area, which makes it impossible to relax or “chill” as advertised. The three saunas are very small and were extremely overcrowded. Breakfast was equally underwhelming: even though there was still about an hour left, many items were already empty. The juices were clearly cheap syrup-based drinks and tasted unpleasant. Overall, the facilities do not live up to the hotel’s marketing, especially considering the focus on the spa area.

Ein Stunde vor Ende des Frühstücks waren viele Dinge bereits vergriffen und es wurde nicht nachgefüllt. Zudem trug das Personal keine Handschuhe und hat die Lebensmittel teilweise mit den bloßen Händen angefasst. Rührei, was neben dem Kessel gelandet ist, wurde mit den Händen aufgehoben und in den Kessel gefüllt.

Lovely room with balcony, the mattress was a bit too soft for us but the room was nice and the staff was kind to arrange for cleaning to be done before we were back for mid day nap for our toddler. Parking on premises and hotel has its own restaurant although there isn't a lot of variety for meals .. regardless of the time of the day is a set (small)menu. Great transport links although the distances are walkable and most of the times though green areas. Would stay again.

Excellent 4-Star Hotel near Scheveningen/Madurodam and close to Kunstmuseum Den Haag. The breakfast is excellent with a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables, eggs (prepared on the spot), juices, cheeses and much more. Book your breakfast at check-in if you haven't done in advance. You will get a 25% discount on the breakfast rate. Enjoy a cocktail at the hotel bar (big variety) or have an evening mail but you better order a table on beforehand as the restaurant area is rather small.

Delicious and huge breakfast buffet! Stylish interior, but poor air conditioning in lobby and public areas. Modern and functional comfort rooms. Rooms and bathrooms need proper cleaning (socks of predecessor under my bed, dirty toilet and showercabin). Wonderful, but small pool area, which is totally overcrowded in the late evening hours. Maybe it would be a better solution to offer a reservationtime.
