Skyline Airport Hotel

The hotel itself was pretty alright for a night before your flight. BUT...for an airport hotel, I was disappointed that their airport shuttle is NOT available 24 hrs. They only operate during certain hours in the day and outside those hours (say, between 9 am to 3 pm on a weekend), you are responsible for getting to the airport. I wouldn't call the distance walkable either - especially with snow/ice. The rooms were adequate but a bit cramped - especially the bathroom (if that matters to you). Breakfast starts quite early (4.15 am) but wasn't as good as some of the other Finland hotels.

Airport shuttle was on time, breakfast was great. Lots of birds in the nearby green spaces, it was lovely to hear the twittering!

A very nice airport hotel, the room had a refrigerator for private use and there was a sauna on the top floor

Airport Shuttle worked perfectly, Room was spacious and clean and breakfast was good. And all to a fair price.

There was not hot tub available, it was a separate reservation for 300 euros per day!! The sauna, was only available from 6pm -10 pm. The airport shuttle ! it only runs two times on Sunday. 9am and 3pm.

I loved that they had bikes you could ride to local shops the breakfast was great, staff was kind the only thing I didn’t like was the transit to get there from the airport you had to get a taxi. We did take the shuttle the next day and the driver was the most sweetest gentleman - so good with people. I will definitely stay again plus the price was really nice for a room with multiple beds.

I booked this hotel because it was near the airport and had a shuttle for my early flight out. The lobby was nice and breakfast was good with Finnish foods. The room was nice with good space, and a convenient kitchenette. I easily walked 15 mins to the grocery store in the mall and made food in the room. They even had bikes available for guest use. The only downsides were the shuttle and sound. At check in, the staff member marked me down for the shuttle since I needed one of the early times. She said the shuttle only goes that early if requested. Since I'm extra attentive to time on travel days, I walked to the stop 15 mins before the scheduled time, looked on the other side of a tour bus to be sure I wasn't missing it, and saw no shuttle. I stayed where I was told it picks up, and when it didn't show up 7 mins after the scheduled time, asked at the desk if it was running behind. She said it already went and I must not have looked around. They said I would need to wait for the next shuttle, which cut my timing very close. However, I learned they don't actually wait for the scheduled time- they just go at whatever time they arrive at a stop and don't account for reservations which is very hard to plan for. I did not appreciate being blamed for not seeing it or being there on time when I could prove that I was. Also, in my room I could hear music and convos from other rooms through the walls/vents but thankfully people got quiet relatively early.

Perfect place for a night or two. Good breakfast buffet and the restaurant for dinner. Room is clean, spacious shower cabin, modest toiletries. Free shuttle to and from airport operated on time schedule.

We parked our car on the parking lot right in front of the hotel no more than 100 feet from the entrance. During the night someone cut the catalytic converter off the car. They lifted the car and cut two metal pipes with an electric tool. In the morning the staff didn’t offer any help either contacting the police or a shop and acted as it wasn’t their concern. So much for “free” parking.

Bra med gratis parkering. Rent och rymligt rum. Ingen lyx men rent o fräscht. Bra frukost.

Hotel located in proximity of the airport, rooms with very small bathroom, serviced only upon request (no mention of this at check in...) Room was not properly cleaned, I arrived late and tired, so noticed only the next morning. No compensation offered. Lifts could use a change of wallpaper...

Good and very early breakfast. Clean room but missed that trash was taken out and our room tidied up during our stay

Room was very clean, breakfast was good, laundry was not busy each time when used, friendly helpful staff.

Friendly, personable staff at front desk, and in dining area. The cleaning staff, however, needs to step up. My room was not ready when it should have been (the front desk had been told it was), one housekeeper did not bother moving as I was struggling to get a large suitcase out the door, and all I saw were scowls on their faces.

Clean room, convenient location

Hotel moderno e ben collegato con l'aeroporto (mediante navetta gratuita) e con il centro città con due fermate del bus vicino (n.600) che vi permette di raggiungerla in circa 45/50 minuti. Attorno all'hotel, il nulla assoluto. Del resto è una location ideale per qualche scalo aereo (molto utilizzato dagli equipaggi aerei) o per chi non può permettersi un hotel in centro di Helsinki che è risultata essere una città carissima, più di Parigi. Le stanze sono comode ben insonorizzate ma la pulizia e il riassetto con cambio tovaglie non viene effettuato se non prima si libera la camera per i futuri ospiti. Colazione molto abbondante per il salato, per il dolce quasi nulla..... Insomma, un po' deludente questo aspetto per chi come me gradisce più una colazione dolce piuttosto che salata. Se dovesse ricapitare di fare visita a Helsinki (ma ne dubito), sceglierei comunque di nuovo questa struttura perché il prezzo è competitivo rispetto a pari hotel del centro città

Staff was nice, but room quality was low. It was cold inside the room for me and I wasn't able to adjust the temperature. The cleanliness is also questionable you can see some stains and wear and tear in the whole hotel. I was able to hear other people screaming and fighting so the noise cancellation is not that great.

Personal, reception, köket och maten utmärkt! Bra med tekokare. Tyvärr fanns det silverfiskar i duschen. Rummet verkade fräscht och rent annars. Skohorn saknades.

The room was not very clean, the floor was sandy. I asked for better pillows and did not get that. I will say that this hotel was the best in the area.

The room was clean-ish. Burned out light bulbs. Bottles of shampoo, body wash, and hand wash were nearly empty. Very small rooms and bathroom could only have one person at a time inside. Staff not particularly engaging. On the plus side, Internet and transportation were very good.

The room was perfect except for the temperature. It was very warm and when I called the front desk they did not have an option to cool the room.

Thermostat only went down to 21 C. Room was too hot. Construction noise in the early morning; ca 3:00.

We stayed in a family room with kitchenette and it was very comfortable with everything we needed. The breakfast was great, staff were friendly and the airport shuttle was very appreciated. It's ina great location just 10 mins walk from Jumbo with food and entertainment to full the time before our flight.

The facility was fairly clean, and the staff polite. But the check-in process was overly cumbersome and intrusive in terms of a paper form they wanted filled out, requesting all sorts of irrelevant information. Also, the rooms are small, and the bathrooms downright tiny! We're talking cramped to being little more than airplane lavatories! The main advantage of this hotel is proximity to the Helsinki airport, with shuttle service - though that is not 24hours, either. If you need to stay near the airport, this hotel might do, but not for more than 1 night! There are other options that might be somewhat more expensive, but are clearly better values. The airport Hilton is one.

Enda klagomålet är att rummet var väldigt varmt och AC;n jobbade långsamt. Okay temp på morgonen. Bra transfer, super service och frukosten var Uber!

Every member of staff gives their all for every resident and the work ethos for every team is second to none. Every member of staff i spoke to was polite pleasant and keen to do their utmost to ensure my stay was the best they coould make it Best hotel stay ever and I was 77 yesterday 01/12/2023

Appalling attitude & service in the restaurant..

The extended breakfast hours proved useful and the variety of foods, exceptional. Several times I asked the front desk for information. Even though I know the ladies has other things to do, they were infinitely patient and knowledgeable.

Staff was wonderful. From check in to the excellent breakfast buffet preparations and answering questions all interactions with staff were friendly and professional. The6 went above and beyond, since room was ready in allowin* us to check in early instead of simply checking in our luggage. Shopping, restaurants and bus service into Helsinki were all within 10 minute walk. Will definitely stay again.

My whole stay was overshadowed by a confrontation first with Room Service & then the Supervisor who were unapologetic & accusatory over the hotel’s poor processes in ensuring credit cards details of guests are on file how extra charges. So Room Service insisted I had to dress & come to reception to pay for the room service I’d ordered. When I refused, due to their poor. & accusatory attitude a long argument ensued basically leaving me to have to make all the concessions. VERY UGLY .

It was a very nice property, pretty close to the airport and also a short Uber ride/walk to a shopping center.

Good location next to a Mall. Easy to get to by car.

The Skyline Airport Hotel is convenient for those arriving late in the night and leaving early in the morning. It has nicely appointed rooms and a great breakfast. Bus service into Helsinki is close and the buses are convenient. Great stay for our family of five.

This is a very convenient airport hotel with a free shuttle to the airport, including very early in the morning. The room was clean and modern - it seemed like a business traveler room. The area around the hotel is empty - there is a mall that's within walking distance, but I only recommend the location if you're headed to the airport.

We stayed here the day before our flight back to Australia. Great shuttle service, only 10 minutes or less to airport. Walked up to the Jumbo shopping centre, around easy 15 minute walk. Clean compact room. Great shower. I would stay here again .

Das Hotel ist in einem sehr guten Zustand, jedoch für Touristen etwas ungünstig gelegen. Die stetige Freundlichkeit und das souveräne Auftreten geben dem Haus einen sehr positiven Effekt. Letztendlich ist die Lage der Grund für den Abzug eines Sterns. Zustand und Einrichtung sind hervorragend, keine verschmutzten Ecken und kein Müll im Aufenthaltsberich der Gäste. Auch die Verpflegung ist sehr gut.👍

Nice and convenient hotel close to airport.

Schöne, zweckmäßig und modern eingerichtete Zimmer. 10-15 Gehminuten zum Einkaufszentrum Jumbo mit mehreren Möglichkeiten zum Essen (Restaurant, Fastfood, Bar, Kaffee...). Gut funktionierender Flughafentransfer mittels kostenlosem Hotelbus. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet

Good airport location.

A convenient hotel, close to the airport with a shuttle every 30 minutes. Also, has an excellent variety of items in their breakfast buffet.

Clean, comfortable, modern room with an amazing restaurant. Dinner was wonderful. The breakfast was bountiful, and there were several gluten-free options. I'd definitely stay here again.

this is not a 4-star hotel. Simply no more than 2 stars, rooms are basic twin beds placed together, bathroom so small and outdated. breakfast cheap cafeteria food with no taste. Sauna with no towels, I had to go to front desk to ask for one extra towel. I do not know how and who gave this property a 4-star rating.
