Comfort Suites Lady Lake - The Villages

I've stayed here before and the service is top notch. The free breakfast is better than any other hotels that I've been to. The pool is always clean and so is the gym. I never have trouble getting clean towels unlike some other places.

Great place to stay, only issue which was not much, but notable, outdoor picnic bbq/ pool area had a very loud exhaust pipe from a furnace or something bellowing into that space making it essentially unusable. Maybe because it was quite cool during our stay? Easy fix for maintenance crew to install a muffler of done type, I recommend this hotel non the less!!

We have stayed here before and are returning. Staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was appropriate and always up and ready ahead of time. Pool could have been a little cleaner but overall decent place for the money.

The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable. Amenities were great (coffee maker & fridge very useful). Room was decorated nicely. Staff was very efficient & courteous- check in & out easy. Ample parking during our stay.

Nice place, just a bit off the highway so convenient and not noisy. Better than average exercise room and room facilities.

It would be nice to be informed when making a reservation that the pool is out of service!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating especially when we mention that we brought our dogs at the last minute. They have a pet relief area our back and plenty of parking They have a hot breakfast out in the morning which was delightful. We will definitely stay here again.

Sadly, the breakfast was the same as most all decent hotels as of late; waffles, sausage & eggs [they were awful]. Rooms were excellent with room to spread out. Parking was good. Staff: AWESOME! Dennis & Shirlee at front desk were very helpful in assisting us to find our way around The Villages, an unfamiliar area to us.

Clean rooms, friendly people working there, large variety of breakfast items, pool area had a handicap chair for use if needed. Small open market area in lobby to purchase snacks and drinks. Hairdryer, microwave, mini fridge in room. We would definitely stay there again. No complaints at all.

I recently stayed three days at The Village Comfort Inn It was beautifully run . The staff ( special mention at front desk Shirley, Joyce and Dennis ) were very helpful and friendly . I always knew of I had a question they would know the answer . The room I had was pet friendly for my cat and dog . It was beautifully situation on the ground floor for easy exit. Breakfast was hot and tasty . Coffee was available 24 hours . Parking was close . Swimming pool was clean and enjoyable even if it was small . Everything in room worked well ( Comfy beds , plenty of hot water coffee maker, fridge and microwave ) Close to Spanish Springs , it is a very convenient location. I will definitely stay here again in the future . Reasonably priced it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay .

Our room had a musty odor. We believe it's from the hot tub. The hot tub was nice and clean though. And the bathroom was very clean and well stocked. The bedroom was clean and comfortable , beside the musty smell when you first walk in. The staff was friendly and helpful except for one gentleman at the desk. ( Morning shift on Saturday November 16th . Did not look at his name tag. That's on me though. ) We were woken up by a God awful noise in the wall between the bedroom and bathroom you could hear it out in the hallway in our end of the hotel. We were on the first floor and our neighbor had the same problem with the noise. We went to front desk and all the gentleman kept saying is they're working on the roof . This had nothing to do with the roof. You couldn't hear the noise on the third floor our friend said. And he kept making excuses about maintenance will come check , he would not come to the room to hear it. And we never saw maintenance. We had to leave for the day because it was so loud. When we came back it had stopped thank God. We did kill 2 baby roaches in the bedroom. Came out of the cabinet the mini fridge is in.

Clerk was dealing with an irate customer as we were checking in. So we finally got checked in and head up to the room. The room seemed clean enough but the toilet was skipped in the cleaning process, as evident by the tissue in the water and the uncleanliness of the toilet bowl. Whatever, it’s late and we’re tired. We settled for the night, I get a (loud) phone call from the front desk at 10.30 pm asking me what room I was in, and my room number because it (something) was telling her I wasn’t checked in. It made no sense to me. Saving grace was their breakfast was pretty nice.

I found a hair ball in my clean linens. The room did not smell clean and the bedding was subpar. The bed looked like it was remade with the same dirty linens from previous guest. The bathroom did not have a fan for the shower steam and had left over toothpaste residue on sink. Free breakfast was provided but I absolutely do not recommend eating it.

Very clean, easy check in process. They accommodated our request of an extra clean room and feather free. Excellent

Bedbugs. This was a really nice hotel; good amenities, great snack vending options, modern, well-kept facility, except that we found bedbugs in our bed. Didn’t see them when we went to bed, but in the morning my wife spotted and killed a big one, so we searched the bed and found five or six more. The staff was quick to get us another room. It still creeps me out.

Excellent accommodations! Beautiful and very clean room and facility. Breakfast was delicious with variety from day to day! Staff was courteous, approachable and friendly. Strongly recommend for short or long term stay.

My room seemed mostly very clean, such as bathroom well scrubbed and towels fresh. But there were two half-finished cans of beer sitting in it, smelling up the place. It was the only real negative. But it concerned me because it indicated carelessness, which made me worry whether it was as clean as it seemed.

We loved our room, which had a generous sleeping area and a comfortable sitting area. The free breakfast each morning was also a big plus. Everything was clean, convenient, very enjoyable.

The hotel was reasonably comfortable but the bathroom door situation was horrible and unsafe. I’m not sure if every room was this way but the bathroom door opened so close to the toilet and bath tub that you had to shut the door to sit on the toilet, there was a metal raised door stop inches from the tub so when you stepped out of the tub you had to make sure you didn’t step on the door stop! Very awkward and unsafe. I also did not like that they hold $150 on your credit card telling us it was for incidentals. We will not be staying at this hotel again

I know you can have the key card close to a phone or a credit card. But it was very often that we had to go downstairs because the key was not working.

the property itself was very clean. super friendly staff. The Wifi, unfortunately, was a complete failure. I had to used the hotspot on my phone to work. Unfortunately, will not stay there again.

There were no drapes to block out light from the parking lot. The mattress had springs you could feel. The tub was stained and gross looking.

Location was excellent, walking distance to Spanish Springs, restaurants and other things. Staff was very nice, efficient. The property in general was very clean and in good condition. I did have issue with the bathroom in my room, though. The tub was an older one that had a contoured bottom that was slippery. My feet would slip frequently. There was also a floor mounted door stop approximately 8 inches away from the outside of the tub which would have been quite easy to stub one's toe on, or even step on as one stepped out of the tub,causing a fall and/or injury. Interesting enough, the door stop was totally unnecessary, as the curved shower curtain rod prevents the door from opening far enough to even get to the door stop! This door stop shoud be removed and a rubber stop be put at the top of the door to impact the shower rod instead. And finally, some numbskull installed a small round toilet seat on the oblong toilet, making it awkward and uncomfortable.

It was a clean room and perfect for sleeping in. Dark curtains helped rest.

The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful, people working in breakfast room were helpful and even the cleaning staff were so friendly in wishing us a good day and having safe travels. Staff there are the very best!!!!!! Lighting in bathroom could be better but room was very comfortable and clean. Very quiet hotel. We were very satisfied with our stay. Will always recommend to others.

There was no one at the desk when we arrived and no sign. We had to wait over 30 minutes for a person to come check us in. No apology, no explanation. That was disappointing given we had two very tired kids. Other than that, nice hotel, clean, and comfortable.

My first night the room was very warm, in the morning I notified the staff and within an hour I had a brand new AC system installed. I felt very safe walking in late at night, it was a quiet place and I was able to get alot of rest. It has great dining options nearby, and easy parking. I highly recommend this hotel.

I have to mention the hotel overall is great. The location is close to Spanish springs town square, The breakfast is nice and the employee that took care of the breakfast area was very sweet and polite! The rooms were very nice and clean, I really enjoyed the suite. And it was a very quiet hotel. I do want to mention the one rude staff member that will make or break a stay. People will never forget how you made them feel. All morning the day of our last day I had been running outside to load the car, went to have breakfast, etc. The woman at the front desk with light colored hair, wearing glasses and older woman did not even look up from her desk the entire morning. As my friend and I are making a trip out with our hands completely full, she asked us if we were checking out? She didn't even say good morning first. We obviously had full hands and I told her no not yet. She sarcastically replied okay let me know when you do. Because of her rudeness, my sister and I gave her a very sarcastic "NO! You have to just guess!" And laughed as we walked away. As promised, on our way out we went to the desk and saw that there was a basket that said just drop your key card when checking out and have a great day. She was not even at the desk, no one was. So I dropped it in and said "DING DING WE'RE CHECKING OUT NOW, KEY IS IN BASKET!" And she called back a thank you. Where I come from it's polite to say good morning when you see someone in your establishment who is your guest.

The front desk attendant which I forgot her name was wonderful been there for 10 years all this was after the hurricane and power had been out for 4 days

Breakfast was excellent. Many options, hot, quickly restocked, cereal, fruit, yogurt. Started promptly 6:30 to 9:30. Staff was friendly.

Beds were comfortable and room amenities sufficient. Grounds were beautiful. Several items ran out at breakfast after just our first day. Stayed 2 additional days without them being replaced due to delivery due after our departure. Need better inventory control.

Night shift personnel were wonderful. Free breakfast fantastic.

You can serve better coffee and more breakfast choices. Bathroom aways wet after shower. Wrong shower curtain. Toilet paper in awkward place. Be more hospitable and not look miserable. Happy employees make customers happy. Use better quality plastic utensils. I like our suite, it has fridge, microwave, desk, sofa but you can put better coffee maker. I like that there was enough lighting on the desk and in the room. Toilet seat dont match the toilet. I like the furnitures but the couch was worn out. Bed comfy but Hilton and Marriott better all around. Oh I love that you have free tv channels. When I extended my stay I was told that it was $84.00. The bill has $102.00 before taxes. I stayed 3 nights, did not use cleaning crew, dont need them, I just ask for towels. Need shower cap You are in a great location. Improve the overall place and you will attract more people. Make every staff proud of the place and proud of what they do.
