My son and I really. Enjoyed our stay but we're very confused when there was a note to ask us to wash our dishes in the dishwasher but our room didn't have one. The pool furniture was very disorganised and the pool water needed a good clean out of leaves, we got the impression it hadn't been cleaned In a while, but absolutely loved the spa

The unit was very spacious and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. The reception staff were very accommodating and helpful. I'm not sure whether I missed it in the booking process, but I was surprised to be charged $20 per night for parking.

Great value accommodation choice for interstate travellers, wifi included, gym, outdoor heated pool (better if warmer temperature), DIY BBQ facilities, parking on site, close to Macquarie Shopping Centre and M2, WestConnex links. Smart TVs in each room. Dual key room a great option for families.

Standard 1 bedroom suite. Very little furniture. Large lounge area with a very small 2 seater lounge no coffee table had to use lamp table to put glasses on. Had a gym but no towels or anything may available to wipe down afterwards even the bathroom in the gym area had no handwash or towel.

They need to contact booking agencies to inform them not to advertise their pool which was out of commission for a whole month one of the main reasons for our booking. As well not having hot water for 3 days was an inconvenience yes other hotel rooms were offered around Sydney but logistically it was too difficult to manage such a large group taking up the offer. A discount of $150 per room was given but we felt this did not really compensate us enough . ROOM WAS GINOT FEEL THIS REALLY COMPENSATED US

the room was ok, the air con would randomly start making noises. I went to go swim in the pool and walked back inside after seeing bird poo all around the pool and the inside of the pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. Rubbish from the bins all on the floor near the pool area didn’t look very good!

The reception staff member was welcoming and polite, explained everything well. We had joining rooms which was fine, however having a way to keep the doors open inside the main door would be helpful as the children were in one room and the adult in the other. We made it work but a better option for families should be considered. One of our rooms did smell like a previous person had smoked in there and there was hair still in the shower and on the bathroom ceiling in the other room. I didn't worry about telling reception as we weren't in the rooms that much. This was the 2nd time we have stayed here and would stay again. Its a very short walk to the Metro station and a short drive to major shopping centres.

Stayed one night room with balcony, room size was decent but cleaness was bit nightmare. Had many hairs on bed sheet with dust, tv screen with drink splash. Aircondition with noise. Cloth dryer with switch missing. Kitchen cutlery was all dirty. Corridors and rooms had strange smells. It was first visit to Oaks, was very dissapointed.

Good location, close to metro line. hotel is not in good condition. Our room has stains in the carpet and on the floor. Also had a broken toilet seat. We were advised this had been fixed but came back last night to it still damaged. This hotel smelt terrible in the corridors as well. Was ok for our purpose - which was a place to sleep at night after spending all day exploring Sydney. Would not stay again. Customer service was ok - we were offered another room. However, we had already left for the day once this was offered (no concierge was available when we left).

The room was a great size and was well appointed. We enjoyed the stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were also a great size and well appointed but the whoever replenished the consumables was a bit stingey! The cleanliness of the room needed some attention with filth around the switches and mould in the bottom of the shower. It was a bit odd that there were 4 of every utensil and plate, except for the coffee mugs (only 2 of those!), and they hadn’t been properly cleaned.

We came to Sydney for a trade show. Booked a two bedroom suite. This is two rooms next door to one another - not connected. Luckily, our kids are teens, but if they were younger, I wouldn't have been comfortable with them in a completely separate room. It was a very poor night's sleep - the king bed was two singles together, but there was no topper or anything to keep them joined together so they moved apart during the night. A/C would not work on heating setting. Shower head was loose and leaked, we tightened it and stopped the leak. There were dribbles of some description running down the wall beside the small dining table. Dated, tired, some dirty parts. I stayed here 4 years ago, and I think the only thing that has changed are the curtains. When checking out i intended to raise issues with staff but she was so involved scrolling on her phone and didnt look up. I waited about a minuted, but no acknowledgement, so i left the key cards and walk away. Price was good, but i recommend spending a little more if the budget allows and staying somewhere else.

Had a nice stay at the Oaks North Ryde. Very convenient location within walking distance of the metro and bus and distance to other suburbs such as the Hills district and the CBD. Big spacious apartment and very nice amenities like the kitchen with a grill and pots and utensils, dining table and modern digital TV. A number of things needed fixing during my stay hence the property condition was rated at three stars. Fairly quiet for the park facing units. Wouldn't recommend the front facing ones however due to the road noise. Room service once a week and found the staff to be friendly and efficient. Will definitely stay again on my next trip to Sydney.

Beautiful apartment and great desk staff. Easy to find and enter with a train station a short walk away. One note to the management - the hot water system. The hot water flow was a continuing 10 second rotation between too cold - just right and too hot. if this system was designed to save energy then it is a dismal failure. it took me twice as long to shower as i had to step out of the flow every 10 seconds to avoid being cold and/or boiled. Therefore my shower time was doubled and wasted so much water.

Check in was seamless and the front of house staff were very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall I had a great stay. The only downside was being allocated a room directly above the parking garage. It was unexpectedly busy throughout the night and could get quite loud.

We booked two nights then added an extra night after we arrived. Housekeeping was not done after the first night and despite our request a minimal attempt was made after the second night. There was nothing to indicate that housekeeping was not a daily inclusion. When we asked about it, the reaction was blase. We will not stay there again.

Oaks is a good location. The hotel is a bit tired though with grubby entrance and floors and walls. The rooms are great though and the beds comfy. The staff are also super helpful and gave us an upgrade when our room wasnt right on our trip.

Safe needed new battery, reported but never changed. Room not cleaned on arrival and had to schedule cleaning. Dirty plates in cupboard. Chairs in room badly stained - disgusting. Clearly this room hadn’t been serviced. Very poor start - eventually rectified.

Chose to stay out of the city and chose this hotel to stay. Be warned, there is almost nothing around the area. However, it is a very calm area to enjoy the nature. Nearest point of interest would be Lachlan Square which was about 15 minutes walk. The hotel itself is maintained quite ok, and has a restaurant which i did not visit. My hotel stay was rather comfortable and the staff were really friendly to accommodate our requests. All in all, I definitely enjoyed the hotel stay. But definitely would choose to drive here next time since there is free parking.

Room was quiet despite facing a busy road. Located about 5 minute walk from Metro station 15 min walk to nearest supermarket. Not much of interest to see or do close to hotel as it is situated in a business park area. Suited us to visit family nearby and quiet room to rest. Hotel needs a makeover common areas a bit worn and shabby. Enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool.

The hotel was within easy driving distance to Hunters Hill Private Hospital. The suite was a good size and very comfortable and clean. The carpark was easy to access and the car spaces were a reasonable size.

I loved my stay at oaks!! We stayed in the suites and it was fantastic! Absolutely fantastic staff, great amenities, great rooms provided, clean, tidy, professional and fun! The pool was great! There were 2 restaurants very close (one in the building and one next door!) both offering great food! Nearby is top city ryde centre and there is always stuff to do, there’s also a gym ! And a laundry and great parking! Thanks for a great stay oaks ! 😊

This property was less than one star but that’s all I could select in the ratings. The rooms were not sound proofed so I could hear lots of night time “activity”. The phones in the rooms had wires missing so phones couldn’t work. No daily room clean like most hotels which at the price I paid is pretty poor. Their restaurant doesn’t always open so don’t count on it.

I was really disappointed with the room my bed was shoved into a room that was essentially like a hallway it was very hard and short! There was cockroaches in the bathroom 😱 the mirror was all smeary and the bed linen looked tired-the room was so so bland not a picture in sight-it was very expensive and definitely not worth the money-the only restaurant was closing at 8:30pm and was shut the next day on a Saturday! No breakfast communication was very limited-no answer from any of the numbers when I called to try to find out about towels for the pool-I will not be staying there again EVER
