Excellent stay. Got a complimentary upgrade. Room serviced and cleaned every day. Breakfast restaurant excellent and thoroughly recommend taking this option. Beautiful buffet with every option you could imagine including gluten free and asian, and continental style. Restaurant just outside front entrance under the hotel called Abode. Again thoroughly recommend. Food and service excellent. Room has a large king bed that is one bed, not two pushed together. With great pillows, Super comfortable. Room has tea, coffee maker, some cups and teaspoons (i was supplied with a knife i requested) a fridge and a safe. Plenty of space for clothes. Definitely will stay here again. 200 metres to many different style eateries, ICC theatre is across the park and light rail station approx 420m easy walk. Nice gym onsite also.

Hotel is located just behind Darling Harbour so plenty of dining options nearby. We stayed in one of the Club rooms which was a very generous size and the club lounge offered good variety of breakfast and evening drinks/canapes etc. Staff were also excellent and always happy to assist. Would happily stay again.

Park Royal is a good, quiet hotel. The room was clean, the service friendly and I would definitely stay again. I liked the water filter fountain located on the floor which allowed us to refill our water bottles. The location is perfect for attending events at Darling Harbour, just a short walk to it.

Excellent property with nice spacious and modern rooms (we had a junior suite). Buffet breakfast was excellent. Valet parking with EV charging was also appreciated. Easy to walk down to Darling Harbour or get the tram to Circular Quay

we stayed as an adult family in three separate rooms side by side. It was fabulous. Drinks in the bar downstairs every afternoon was great. Very quiet and intimate. many nearby eating places and shopping right around the corner. We loved it!

The room wasn’t cleaned well . The showers were hard to close and water kept dripping. The room had a weird smell. Not to many options for the breakfast and always the same breakfast served. I travel extensively for work, all around the world. Comparing this hotel to other 4-star properties, this falls far below the mark. The bathroom was dirty and cleaning was not thorough. A renovation is badly required to bring rooms and the property in general up to normal, global standards for this kind of hotel that is otherwise well situated in a larger city. Staff were minimally helpful, which I do not attribute to them personally, but rather to what appears to be poor training and management. Beds were not comfortable, nor were the room amenities any good. You are best to stay elsewhere until the Pan Pacific Group invests in a renovation.

Location was great for Darling Harbour & easy walk to CBD. Good size room, comfortable bed, great meal from room service & good breakfast buffet. Staff were friendly & efficient. Downside was evidence of mould in shower & behind basin & shower was ok but not the best. Overall I enjoyed stay & would stay again

Not one to complain typically but this one feels warranted. Paid over $700 for a room last night for the family. First issue was when I found used chewing gum on the bedside table on the little cardboard sign they put there, disgusting. So this place has a bedroom with ensuite and a seperate living room right... Do you know how many light switches were in this suite? 9. And how many of them can you turn on without a light coming on in the bedroom. None. No matter what light switch you hit, you are forced to have light shine in the bedroom. Even the 3 bathroom switches are scattered around the bedroom meaning you have to open the door with the light already on. The living room switches also included a downlight in the bedroom . This was so bizarre. Only 3 towels provided for 4 guests. Carpets were littered with stains. I get it happens but there were many and on topof the rest it feels worth mentioning. The parking was convenient and the breakfast decent. The fresh omlette was the highlight. When I reported these issues during checkout the bloke just blank faced me and mumbled a sorry. He didn't even write anything down or make any effort to meaningfully appologise. I didn't ask for anything, but it certainly fell on deaf ears.

I wasn't looking for a budget hotel when I booked this, but it's what it felt like. In our first room the bathroom floor was sandy, but they couldn't locate anyone from housekeeping so moved us. Second room was nice at first glance, but had hairballs behind the door, peeling paint around the air con vents, no bath plugs or sink plugs. We couldn't eat on site because the breakfast and restaurant don't cater for coeliacs (or if they do it's not made clear, so we didn't risk it).

Firstly, the staff are great and super helpful, they couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. The hotel reception was very modern and in a great location, walkable to darling harbour (approx 5 mins) and the opera house (approx 25 mins). I was disappointed with my room as it was very dated and dingy with very little sunlight and a view of a back alleyway. For the price payed, I would say it is overpriced and if I were to visit Sydney again I would choose to spend a little more to stay somewhere nicer.

Clean and modern room, not very large. The online picture showed a bath but ours didn't have one. Window looked out to neighbouring flats - eye to eye with people doing their washing up etc - so we kept the curtains shut most of the time. We were on the 8th floor. Generally quiet, but the cleaners could be heard vaccuming the corridor from 9.30am when we would have preferred to be sleeping in.

We were on the first floor and had a view of the exit ramp from the motorway. The bed was on wheels, which was odd and the room felt cramped. For example, you couldn’t open the closet door to the safe all of the way because it hit the bed. The chair by the desk was dirty. The shower door opened inward which was awkward. The television was nice.

Decent location. Very easy to airport on train from nearby station. Room faced straight into apartments. So, ugly view. Great for storing luggage as we were very early to check in and then actually brought our cases to our room before we were even back. Room has absolutely zero decor. One rather small picture. That’s it.

Reception experience was the least I liked. I was billed in three seperate accounts, no itemisation and only one emailed (I had to follow up). Membership offer only applies to items purchased not room cost. A little sneaky practice. Carpet had stains on it that looked recent but wasn’t cleaned (I think it was outside room 704). Staff do not smile when acknowledging you makes it look obligatory. Choices of juices boring, no poached eggs. Connection to streaming services had intermittent sound. Body wash only in bathroom no hand soap. Place could be brightened up a bit to appeal with pictures on walls

Room was nice. However I did not appreciate the fact the hotel charged an extra $40 to let me in the room before 2pm. The hotel was not full when I arrived and rooms were available. Such practice is not acceptable! I left the room at 8am - 4 hours before normal check out time and the hotel did not pay me! Why not?

I enjoyed a 3 night stay at this hotel with my mother and daughter. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, even allowing us to change rooms and check in early. Travelling with a toddler was made easier with this, as well as the inclusion of breakfast, high chairs and children’s cutlery/ crockery in the breakfast area, and activity packs to entertain her. The hotel was easy walking distance to Darling Harbour and the city, only 2-3 blocks from the station or light rail. Room service was good and delivered in a reasonable time frame. Water stations on each floor were handy. Some people may find the lack of communal facilities like a pool or gym a disadvantage, but we didn’t need it.

The actual stay and staff were good, I booked a upgraded room and had already paid for it all. Then received an email from the place saying I could upgrade again. When we arrived were asked if we would like to upgrade to the plan emailed to me and we declined as we had already upgraded. On check out we we're told we still had to pay for the upgrade. I said we had declined the upgrade and we flew home. When we arrived home we had another unauthorised charge to our account. I've tried contacting the hotel directly and they declined to help. The room was a standard room and we did not know we had been upgraded so did not take any advantage of drinks other options as they apparently offer. Would not recommend staying and definitely do not upgrade thinking it would be something nicer.

Stayed there as we were attending a concert at the ICC in Darling Harbour. Location was perfect. Very close to Town Hall and very short walking distance to Darling Harbour. Staff were so friendly and our room was clean, comfortable and a great size. Would definitely stay there again.

The location was great and not far from Town Hall station. The breakfast buffet but was also good. The house salad with schnitzel was fantastic so much so that I ordered it the next night. Would definitely stay there again.

First time at this chain. Attentive staff, clean common areas. Hotel was busy, but the lifts ran well with very little wait time. Room was clean. Plenty of supplies in the bathroom and tea/coffee bench. Aside from worn door handles on the cupboards, a very positive and enjoyable stay. Breakfast buffet was nice - plenty of variety plus including a cook to order egg station. Didn't feel crowded even thought it was busy. Darling Harbour is literally across the road. So convenient to stroll over and watch the 9pm fireworks via the pedestrian footbridge shortcut. Town Hall/QVB a 5 minute walk up the road. Pitt St Mall 10 mins. Chinatown 5 minutes away, plenty of food options.

Absolutely outstanding hotel for our family stay in Sydney for 3 days. We had an executive club room and had access to the club lounge for breakfast which had a good range including some GF items. Room was very clean and towels nice and thick as well as robes which many hotels no longer provide. Beds super comfortable and shower nice and big. Close to sights - darling harbour and city centre. Very friendly and helpful staff.
