I stayed at Captains at the bay for a night while on my trip on the great ocean road. I had booked the B&B after reading the reviews and I must say that the reviews do full justice. Our stay in the terrace room was exceptional with no complaints. It was clean and modern and had all the facilities. Private courtyard was like icing on the cake. I would come back here any day ! A beautiful property with wonderful hosts. Bed was great, tub was wonderful, but a bit long for me. I loved the cozy robe. Breakfast in a lovely breakfast room was very good.

Highly recommend The Loft - very comfortable for 2 friends travelling the Great Ocean Road. Only suggestion would be a knife to cut the lime for a G&T - the Gin having been bought from local brewery also highly recommended! The breakfast was fantastic - all very good value and lovely experience.

Anna and Douglas have created an absolute gem here. We were blown away by their welcome. The room was positively palacial - better than many international 5* hotels I’ve stayed in. Sunday breakfast in the immaculate dining room was a real treat. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.
