When we arrived with 4 suitcases with my wife and kids, the receptionist looked at us through the glass window struggling but didn't get up to assist in any way. I think that was indicative of the stay. In all the service was very impersonal. It was functional at best. Our 'family' room was old cramped and tired, we had a huge large mould patch in the bathroom. It also backed onto a very noisy evening bar that had people partying outside till gone 1am. There was no real area to properly sit and enjoy in the evening. There is a small cramped bar area and thats all. In all , the pictures are misleading. The 'lounge' looking areas are all upstairs and back onto bedrooms areas to be.The front of the hotel is actually a cafe and a watch shop. The hotel entrance is to the side and all the whole building has a very awkward layout. We will would not return.

Friendly staff with excellent restaurant recommendations. We were in a Luxury Suite, with a double bed on one floor and two twin beds in a loft above, reached by stairs. Very clean and comfortable, as expected for the astronomical price, but no A/C and it was quite warm inside in June. We opened some windows, fortunately no mosquitoes though birdsong awoke us at dawn. Hotel parking lot is not too expensive and is monitored, but for just a few euros you can use the town lot which is about 50 meters from the hotel. Good breakfast with lots of choice.

We had a fantastic stay here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, bang in the middle of town making restaurants and bars easily accessible. We parked on site which was great too. Rooms are well equipped and very comfortable. Would highly recommend staying here. Thank you!

A pretty, well appointed and extremely well situated property right in the center of Cortina. Good breakfast and nice common facilities. Clean, tidy, functional rooms. Located in a pedestrian area, so great for shopping and restaurants, but parking is off-site and can be a little difficult (this is a something endemic to all properties in central Cortina).

The staff was helpful and the breakfast was lovely. Downside was we thought there would be parking options and there were none. The place the staff suggested to park was a little shifty and we almost got towed. But the location was great and in the middle of everything. Not a good place though if you want quiet as the local bars were open late and loud.

Review: Hotel Royale, Cortina Extremely overpriced, old, and run-down hotel. The beds are uncomfortable and lack even a basic mattress topper. The bathroom is worn out and poorly designed—you can’t even stand upright while showering. The only positive is the central location and proximity to the town center. I would not stay here again.

L’emplacement est merveilleux,la chambre petite mais confortable avec une grande douche. Petit déjeuné peu varié lors de notre séjour de 1 semaine mais bon. Les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées et le bruit des pas ou des portes sont très dérangeant la nuit. C’est vraiment désagréable au point oú je n’y retournerai pas.

Centrally located, close to everything. However the bars downstairs were noisy until 3-4am on the weekend and kept us up. The walls were also pretty thin and the room doors were super loud. Don’t expect your stay to be restful (this is the only reason for 3 stars). Very good spread for breakfast and the ladies that work there were very friendly.

A home away from home with a great location in the heart of Cortina, a delicious breakfast with a great selection of teas, and the most amazing staff who welcome you and make you feel at home. They are very knowledgeable and recommended some fantastic restaurants and a wonderful ski school. I love our traditional-style room with its antique furniture and Georgian-style curtains—it adds so much character to this place. The personal touch of Venessa’s service, along with her big, warm smile each morning, made our stay even more special. For sure, we will be back!

Very central location. Many good Cafè/bars and restaurants close by. Easy transfer from Venice by ATVO bus to piazza Roma which is very close to the hotel. Easy walk. Skibus to lifts leaves from piazza Rome near by.

Excelente hotel e staff muito eficiente, atencioso e educado. Quartos de bom tamanho, ótima localização (perto do ônibus para a estação), além de muitas opções de restaurantes e lojas ao redor. Café da manhã fantástico. Recomendo.
