Nice hotel, right on the edge of the shopping area. Easy to get in and out of town. They have their own parking lot, it is small so, it might fill up. Public parking close by. Great breakfast and a nice restaurant. Lots of balconies to view the beautiful surroundings.

Hyggelig betjening og et hotell i tradisjonell stil, med svært sentral beliggenhet. Bærer dessverre preg av å være gammelt og litt slitt. Stort rom med balkong, men slitent rom og bad. Frokosten hadde litt dårlig utvalg, ingen grønnsaker eller fullkornsprodukter. Hjemmesiden opplyser feilaktig om at hotellet har basseng, men da vi spurte fikk vi opplyst at det ble fjernet under covid. Området er preget av mye anleggsstøy, da Cortina forberedes til OL i 2026, og det er svært mye riving og bygging i sentrum. Anleggsarbeidene rundt hotellet startet allerede kl 06 om morgenen, så det ble brå start på dagen altfor tidlig. Ingen info om disse anleggsarbeidene hos hotels.com., så det var umulig å vite om.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Aquila - our room had a wrap around balcony with beautiful views of the city and mountains, and the hotel's location is walkable to all the shops and restaurants. Our room was very clean and spacious and the curtains blocked out the morning sun. Amazing stay!

Very good restaurant / wine bar in the hotel, enjoyed breakfast and a few dinners there, including Christmas dinner. Friendly staff. Parking nearby, can park out front to unload/load. Maids could do a slightly better job on bathroom cleaning; was some mold starting in shower that we cleaned off. Overall, highly recommend.

Très bel hotel au plein coeur de Cortina directement sur la rue piétonne donc très calme (pas de bruit d’auto). Chambres avec balcon et vue sur les montagnes pour les étages supérieurs. Personnel très gentil, ultra propre et restaurant excellent avec une cuisine locale et une excellente carte de vin! Hôtel un peu âgé donc mur relativement fins!

The hotel room is huge and had a great view from our balcony. The staff was fantastic! The breakfast is sufficient but won’t knock your socks off. The location is perfect. The mattress was more firm than we are used too but we slept well.

The location was convenient and they gladly stored our luggage for a week while we hiked. We arrived early, were welcomed and allowed to get into our room to shower and hand wash some clothes. Since it was Sunday, no laundry services available. We had an early am bus so they provided a “ take away” breakfast!

Super location, easy to get to shops and restaurants. Lorenzo was extremely helpful with recommendations for area hikes and restaurants (including best timing to get to Tre Cime). We had a much better stay in Cortina because of his help and advice -- we felt a bit bad asking so many questions but he was so knowledgeable! We had a takeaway breakfast each day but the dine-in looked fabulous. Terrific coffee and the hotel restaurant was excellent. Did we mention how awesome Lorenzo was?!?!

The staff were really friendly, we received an free upgrade, the room was bigger and the view was lovely! Breakfast was good! We noticed tour groups stayed there so be wary when going for breakfast! Internet was good and we were able to leave our luggage there!

Hotel Aquila is on the main pedestrian street that goes through town. It is a 10 minute walk to the main bus station and also to the church in the center of town from which one can get a shuttle to the ski areas. So it is convenient for skiing, shopping, restaurants. Breakfast buffet was somewhat basic but good enough. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was very small, but it did have a good partial view of some mountains since it was on the top floor. One problem was that the room was too hot (in the winter), even after I turned off all heat sources. It was difficult to sleep unless I opened the balcony door.

We went in October. Hotel is very nice and in a very beautiful area. There was some confusion regarding reservation but the staff was very cooperative. Decent but very nice breakfast also. For the price we got can ask nothing more. Although I'm not sure what summer prices are like.
