There was nothing that I liked as this particular Tru is NOT Hilton quality in any way… The pool was green, foamy and closed - even though it was advertised as open. I specifically booked to have family pool access over a rainy March break weekend. The front desk staff refused to take any responsibility for the inconvenience and offered nothing to offset it. They claimed to be unable to make any alterations or upgrades to third party bookings and seemed especially not to value Expedia customers at all. They to recommended going to another hotel with pool access in Bracebridge (Quality Inn) but then insinuated that the very place was unclean, which seemed unprofessional and manipulative. They said I may or may not be able to get a refund if I cancelled late. In the end, I decided not to waste anymore time on my bad booking and went to the Quality Inn - which was very clean with a great pool and customer service, and even offered an upgraded room for $75 less than my “Poo” by Hilton booking.

Nice modern and clean hotel. Welcomes you in with a really nice lobby. Rooms were very clean and bathroom soaps were amazing! Complimentary breakfast had lots of options (pancakes, eggs, cereals, turkey sausage, toast, bagels, etc.). Pool was clean and lots of fun with the kids. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will be going back the next time we are in Bracebridge.

Comfortable beds and friendly staff. Not enough parking. Had to park in an electric vehicle spot at midnight due to no spots. Was advised they would need to have me move if someone needed it. With nowhere to park their suggestion was to park next to a pump at the gas station and get up early to move it. Not impressed with no solution

The hotel is a few-frills trendy line. Reminds me a bit of a modern college / university dorm (in a good way). By "few frills" I mean that the rooms themselves are quite basic, boasting a modern functionalist design that prioritizes open space and straightforward, practical design elements, and "clean ability". Few frills also captures service elements such as that cleaning of the rooms is every other day. But the hotel itself has amenities like pool, workout room, and a large lobby reminiscent of a dorm common room, with foosball tables, and sitting areas to invite people to gather. The breakfast was... okay. I'd say it is a notch or two below what you would find at a Hampton Inn & Suites. I would stay here again but would skip breakfast. Everything was quite clean.

I specifically choose this hotel for the pool lift and accessible rooms. The room was good but the pool lift didn't work. No staff knew where the charger was for the lift for 3 days i was not able to access the pool and no one knew what they were doing.

Checked in, the pool was closed (not told when we booked), couldn’t get a key to the room, someone had to let us in everytime we left the room. We went out and when we got back the power was out, no backup generators, we had to wait 20 minutes to get in, no tv or internet. In the morning the breakfast that was supposed to be there was not, they did have cold coffee though.

The hotel is new and everything’s really clean. Breakfast was decent and had what we needed. The parking lot is shared with another hotel, so when it’s busy you might have to park a little farther away. Overall, it’s a nice and comfortable place to stay!

Clean room, AC/heating worked well, beds were very comfortable, nice on the wall squeeze bottles for shampoo, conditioner and body wash which had nice fresh scents. Nice having tea, hot chocolate and coffee available in the lobby all day, to take up to the room.

The front desk staff was excellent to deal with and very helpful. The room was very clean and the hotel location was central to dining, shopping, and only minutes from downtown Bracebridge. I will definitely stay here again.

It was very clean overall. We enjoyed breakfast and had a great time at the swimming pool with little kids. Staffs are very friendly. Such a convenient location for Santa’s village, Tims, restaurant and Walmart. I would come back here if I will visit Bracebridge next time :)

The hotel was very clean overall. Check-in with Mark was smooth and friendly. The room was a good size and the atmosphere was quiet, which made for a comfortable stay. The only downside is that the TV isn’t a smart TV, so no YouTube or Netflix. Breakfast included was definitely a nice bonus

Nice hotel, the only complaint was that we had a bad night sleep as the beds were very unconformable, there was 3 of us and we all had the same experience. Not sure if beds are new and havent been broken in yet. We stayed at hotels before and never experienced this. If refund would be an option we would take it.

I loved the bench in the room for suitcases and sitting to put on and take off shoes. Everything was very clean. We just had a problem with temp control in the room. Air was so powerful that at 73 it was very cold. Within a short time it was freezing in the room. It was only 63 outside. You had to put the temp to 74 to stop the cold air. Then after and hr or 2 it was getting warm. Then you had to change the temp. We were constantly changing the temp.

I had a great stay at Tru by Hilton! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Christian, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during my stay. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back again!

This is a really great hotel! Close to downtown bracebridge which offers a lot of food options. About 10 mins away from Santa's village. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and offers a decent breakfast. My only complaint is that breakfast could have ended at 10am instead of 9am for late risers. We loved all the board games in the lobby and the cozy sitting areas. They also had a really nice selection of snacks and drinks. Great hotel!

The bed was very comfortable! The bed coverings were odd, frequently becoming separated from the semi-enclosing coverlet. We needed help getting our covers to make sense. The food was pretty good. They had a variety of options. There's only so much you can do with warming-tray scrambled eggs. The one day they had a "quiche" option was good.

The hotel was nice. the breakfast was horrible. My eggs were still frozen and the sausage was terrible. Prison food! Most people through out their breakfast. The pool was fun and everything was new and clean. I would stay again, but not have the breakfast.

As our stay was very comfortable, the room is very narrow. We also found how greedy people are at breakfast, they were hording the fruits and everything else. I watched a couple take 4 yogurts then come back from their room and took 4 more. One man took all the bananas. Its ridiculous and i had to request some hard boiled eggs and most of the bread was gone and what was there would not toast

Beautiful new hotel, highly recommend. Full house when we were there, would like to see a better deal when there is a festivity on in Bracebridge. Also I’d like to see the breakfast time closed later, not 9am.
