Room was very spacious and clean. Bed was so comfortable. Check-in and out was easy. Hotel parking lot is under a bit of construction so had to access the hotel from the rear which was a bit inconvenient as I arrived after 1:00 am. Other than that ai had an excellent stay

the fact that you have to pay for parking is ridiculous. i have never stayed at a hotel where you had to pay for parking. access was very inconvenient. had to go through the restaurant or the back door to get to the main lobby. then had to walk what felt like a mile to our room. will not be staying here again

Location is undergoing renovations so it doesn't look the best from the outside but inside was friendly service, solid rooms and very quiet considering next to the airport. One thing - note the $20 per day/per car parking that applies to all cars, even those staying at the hotel.

The only reason to go to this hotel was the shuttle service to the airport. This service was a disaster At the beginning the shuttle could not accomodate the group and we took an UBER to the airport. It was 4:30 in the morning. Returning a week later, we arrived at Post 41 at 5:15 (no shuttle). Waited to 5:40 and a Holiday In bus arrived. The driver took us to 960 Dixon Road, not our hotel. Be aware, he invited us on the bus. Nobody at 960 Dixon offered any help and we took an $18 cab ride to 600 Dixon Road. We arrive there at 6:15 PM. Even the girl there withheld the coupon to leave the parking lot. On my return, she knew why I was there and offered a coupon. Be assured, the Holiday Inn is off my travel list and I don't think yoy really care Walter Heeney

We liked the proximity to the airport. The exterior of the hotel is in a dilapidated condition, especially the front entrance roof and awning. The carpet in the guest room was dirty and soiled. The bed was clean, well made and comfortable. I would not return.

Our sheet had dried blood on it under the pillows. Unsure how wasn’t seen so just seems they don’t change sheets. Property totally under construction that they don’t mention. They have letter in room saying to lose curtains do you sit in dark and insane noise. To top off shuttle that told runs every hour and half hour shows up at 45. Terrible hotel. Never have I experienced something so gross.

Checked in and put the sign on the door for do not disturb and the cleaning staff still entered the room. They took the sign off our door as well. The shower Bailey worked as 90% of the water went out the spout of the tub. Found long hairs on the towels in the bath room.

The lady at the check in was not friendly at all. Our first night was fine, though my son and I were lying in bed and a mirror fell off the wall and smashed. It looked like it was just taped up. The second night we decided to go swimming and the pool was dirty. Our third night, there were all sorts of, what I can only assume were, homeless people. This clearly made myself and my son really uncomfortable as they were filled in the lobby, the parking lot, and were walking through the halls. We got back to our room at around 5pm and locked ourselves inside for the rest of the evening… not a good experience at all!! I wouldn’t have minded if we were given a heads up at check in or on their website would have been helpful to prepare us. At check-out, there was garbage everywhere inside. The floors were disgusting and there were cigarette butts everywhere outside. I’ve stayed at many hotels as we travel a lot and this was by far my worst experience yet.

First time stay. Chose this as it was a short drive to the airport. Beds were comfortable & room was clean. Bathroom was very small & cramped for one person, not to mention 2 people trying to get ready. Parking lot was very full when we arrived, probably due to the restaurant on site being busy & looks like the hotel was busy that night also. Construction also being done at the hotel but didn't experience any noise as we checked in at night and left early a.m. Hotel lobby was loud, crowed and right outside the restaurant which I didn't expect when we arrived. Morning check out was much quieter when we left. Rooms were down a long hallway to find the airport so be prepared to lug your bags quite a way from the lobby. Overall for the price it was a decent comfortable stay but the heater was loud in the room, the congested parking lot was not great to find a spot & the very small bathroom was just odd.

My main issue with this hotel is where is it- directly under the flight path of all the planes at the airport. I’ve stayed in many airport hotels before and never had this issue- it seems my room was the one that every aeroplane flew over, about one every 10 minutes, all night. Luckily I had ear plugs, otherwise I wouldn’t have slept, it was SO loud. I’d avoid staying here again just for that reason. Everything else was good about the hotel though.

The service was good, but I had a few issues with my room that affected my stay. The water in my bathroom was shut off, making it impossible to use the shower or toilet. After contacting the front desk, they restored the water, although in my opinion, it should not have been turned off knowing that guests were staying in the rooms. The air conditioning also turned on by itself, and the room temperature dropped to 15 degrees.

Stay was very nice. Check in was great and the restaurant next door was great value. Bathroom was extremely small based on the price point. Door closes with 1 inch clearance from the toilet. Cannot have two people standing a the very large sink, not very optimal for getting ready as a group. Other than that very clean, no microwave which was odd.

The hotel staff and the room were great. There was confusion regarding the shuttle on arrival, but that was our mistake. Upon departure however, the shuttle driver parked away from the hotel, then only helped the people with one suitcase each. My sister and I had several bags each, and schlepped them onto the bus ourselves. Another guest helped us. At the airport, the driver didn't offer help until we already had all our bags ourselves. If I was to give a tip, it would have gone to the gentleman who helped instead. I would still recommend the hotel, because they were friendly and helpful at the property.

Even before I had arrived in the hotel's city (Toronto), the hotel had proceeded to charge and put a hold on my card ahead of time instead of doing it until I arrived. With this happening, it proceeded to disrupt the financial planning I had for the weekend. The hold is still on my card despite paying by another method. When I was making my way to my room, I noticed a cigarette on the ground outside one of the rooms. The air conditioning in the room was struggling to say the least and was not the best during a Toronto summer weekend. Even the vents of where the AC is located looked very dirty and had not been cleaned in quite some time. They will charge $25/night for parking on top of the already expensive nightly fees (for a 3 star hotel) which is absolutely baffling. They have more than enough parking available on their site that they should not need to charge overnight parking for people staying under 3 days. The parking fees should either be calculated into the price of the stay or be complimentary. During checkout, I was asked how my stay was and I responded "not bad". Immediately after I said that, I was then questioned multiple times in a mocking and an aggressive manor by a staff member which I think was the manager. I was only offered a printed receipt and not emailed one when they have my email on file. The hotel was also texting me every day during my stay asking for a review which felt completely off putting and very demanding.

We weren’t expecting a lot with it being so close to the airport and having read some reviews but it was close to the convention centre. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean the rooms were. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The downfall is that the hotel is behind in updating the general appearance. It could use new carpet in the halls but it is kept very clean.

Inn is average as expected. It is going through continued renovations and is a mixture of 70's decore with updates here and there. Staff is very nice and texted numerous times asking how my week long stay was going. Parking was not free and no breakfast vouchers provided unless booked "correctly". The attached Perkins restauant was excellent (both service & food) and not busy all the time. Room was clean with fresh paint but as mentioned mixed with 70's wallpaper, rug, etc. My only complaint would be that the toilet was very loose and when I checked out they said they would have fixed it sooner but I just dealt with it so that it is on me.

I booked in advance online and chose to pay at the hotel. When we got to the hotel they would not honour the rate I booked at and charged me for additional people that I had already accounted for in the original pricing. The staff were rude and unhelpful, telling me this was my problem and I would have to take it up with the booking agency directly. When I showed my confirmation noting the number of people the manager told me that was too bad, the pricing was only meant to reflect 2 people per room and again that this was not his problem and I just needed to pay and deal with it on my own later and then stomped off. This was the most unprofessional interaction. The staff seemed to have no customer service training or instincts and the manager no training to deal with customer concerns. We were stuck due to timing and the plans we had made that were the reason we were at the hotel so had to pay and stay. The hotel itself was quite run down and when we got to our room it looked like someone had bled out on the carpet. It was stained and dirty and unwelcoming.
