Renovated lobby/common area is very nice. Staff were very friendly at the desk. Place is being renovated so it can be a bit dirty in some areas. Outdoor pool had zero towels and hot tub jets did not work. Indoor pools area needed a redo, but having a sauna and steam room was a nice touch. Room was renovated and had large tv, nice bathroom and shower.

The Lodge is a gorgeous property. Many dining options. Great drinks and food! Multiple pools, indoor and outdoor! Indoor hot tub, sauna and steam room! Very clean and organized. Very professional friendly staff. Will return!

During check in the offered is complementary champagne. You don't see at other hotels. Staff were very friendly and Informative. The indoor and outdoor pool was fantastic. They have a steam room and sauna room. They had live music which entertaining.

Property and Expedia did not share it was being renovated! Access to parts of hotel (pool) was not good for those with special needs. Same for parking lot to rooms-actually had to go through construction to get to elevator. This property will be amazing once finished with renovation!

the pool was overcrowded. hotel was at 100% capacity and they sold day passes to pool in addition. no seats and water was super crowded.

Very nice and clean hotel. The outside pool area is great. The employees at the outside bar were nice and very accommodating. Great service! At night, the pool/outdoor bar area has a great ambiance with lights on the trees and electric fire pit with a lot of seating to enjoy the evening.

Outdoor pool was/is closed for 5 days this week, Check-in took 15 minutes, just 2 people working at peak check-in time. Bathroom was pretty gross. Grounds and location are great, indoor pool area was fine for the kids.

Not very clean, the elevator floor and common areas were a little old and needed some repair. Check in was 4pm but check out 11am. I wish the check in was earlier and breakfast was included!

My wife and I stayed for Labor Day weekend. Check in was quick and easy, we stayed in a king suite. The room was a disappointment, the paint was chipping and faded on all the furniture. The carpet needs to be replaced and there were big scratches on the walls. Great view but the window was so dirty you couldn't really enjoy it. The bed was super uncomfortable. The shower was great but the towel rack was almost broken clean off. For over $300 a night you'd figure you'd get a microwave, but nope. For the price there's way better options. The pools were nice but there we a million 🐝 🐝 that even the staff were swatting them away every second. For that big an issue you need to call pest control or something. Also the tables at the pool bar were never cleaned, really gross. The Hotel could be great with a remodel and some cleaning standards.

Carpets in hallway were dirty not vacuumed. Three days and no towels at the pool. Pool is not managed so kids running diving and just not being watched by parents. Carpet in room was musty smelling. Room was just average not as sold on website.

Shoddy room that stank with dubious stains on black couch. Soulless. Staff ok upon check in fine but could tell quickly place was half way through a refurb. Corridor carpets dirty exit areas near stairs smelt. Clubs or hair leaves and dirt in indoor pool. Crappy breakfast option and a general feeling that they need to hire another 20 people in order to provide and acceptable level of service and cleanliness. House keeping knocking on my door at 9am on check out after not seeing them at all during my stay. A perfect example of why when it comes to business just stick to the main chains. I can’t tell you how bad my room stank but if already checked in and unpacked, plus the lady had run down stairs to “check the room for me” as house keeping wouldn’t respond so she clearly thought it was acceptable. There was a time when places like this were lovely. Shame.

The rooms were very clean, however we went to sit in the main lobby to have a cocktail. The tables were unclean and the couches and chairs were stained and dirty, so much so we didn't want to sit on them. I would give them a pass this time as they are going through a major renovation. I would stay here again in the warmer months and see what changes.

We enjoyed the property grounds (pool, views, cafe). There was a very loud noise in our room that went on all day, it made it difficult to sleep at night. There was no ice available on our floor. We had to go down a floor to get ice. Room was clean but carpet was noticeably dirty. Convenient location. No towels were available at the pool which was inconvenient.

Overall the stay at Lodge Geneva National was enjoyable for myself and my children. However, for the price we paid, the shower had very little pressure and the half of the jets did not work. And the sofa bed had crumbs and dirt on it and only a sheet with no extra blanket or pillows. I would've given more stars but those elements made the room seem a bit dirty.

There were no dressers so no place to put your clothes. No pictures on the wall. Electrical outlets were oddly placed, which made connecting things very difficult. Didn’t seem like this room was ready to occupy.

We had one of the rooms that have not been renovated and the AC was loud and disruptive all night long. The outdoor pool is great. The indoor pool could use a refresh as it seemed dreary and sad. The staff was great and very helpful, but options were limited for them based on what rooms were available.

It looks like someone bought a fleabag roadside motel, spent millions renovating the lobby area, (which looks beautiful) ran out of money and had to skimp on the rooms. Looks like the furniture came from IKEA. And very sparse. The mattress was very comfortable though.

Some of the rooms are updated. Ours was just painted but not modern. Staff was friendly. Pool area great. Faucets difficult to use- hot cold backwards. Walls very thin- could hear everywhere around us.

The bed was too hard. No light on one side of bed. No outlet on the other side of the bed. The fan in bathroom ran all the time. Stopper in sink didn’t work. Could use a dresser of some kind. Remodeling is being done so maybe things just aren’t finished.

This hotel is far too overpriced and very deceptive. When booking, i selected a room that was slightly more extensive than the other rooms because it was listed as "lake view". When i looked out my window, there is no lake in view. In fact, when i went for a walk to find the lake, i found it beyond the trees and buildings more than 400 yards away from the hotel. It should have been called forest view. The room was clean, but i can get that for half the price at most other hotels in the area.

When we arrived there was no one to check us in. Once checked in went to room. Minutes later a person came to our door and opened it thinking it was his room. They had given our keys mistakenly to him. So they canceled all keys. We took a walk hit back and couldn’t enter our room. Had to go down to desk to get new keys. They did comp us $25 dinner coupon at their restaurant.

I went to check out… and then called within 10 minutes to let them know my daughter left her bag in the room. The person said oh yeah no problem we will have someone go into room and get it. When I came back to the hotel the front desk had no idea what I was talking about. Then he went to ask if something was found in room and said no. He said oh wait no one has come into the room to check in. Let me go check if something is there… there was nothing. I find it strange that the housekeeper was outside my room with her daughter and then no one else came into room. Sad that this happen. He then said I will talk to housekeeping tomorrow… well I’m still awaiting phone call. We have stayed at this hotel for many many many years and we have forgotten stuff by accident and is always there. This time wasn’t the case. My daughter lost her summer memories in her water camera. So sad that no one knew nothing.

Great location, central to a number of local communities from Lake Geneva to Delevan Lakes to Williams Bay and Elkhorn- it’s also a bit off the main path so you’re not bombarded by a bunch of other tourists. Highly recommend. The service was kind and polite and went the extra mile to make sure we had a great stay

I wanted something near Lake Geneva that was not in town because I wanted quiet time. The hotel was nice. I had a ground floor room with a patio but I didn't really sit outside. Someone had left empty plastic cups on the chairs outside and I didn't feel like messing with them. There was a pretty hydrangea outside our patio door and the grounds look very nice. We don't golf, so I don't have anything to add about that. The room was comfortable and clean, and we ate at the Italian restaurant and it was very good.

The staff were great, easy parking. 6 minute drive to “town” area. Rooms are spacious and beds are on the firm side. Beautiful area outside to walk around, they had live music both Friday and Saturday night. I will say we could hear the music in our room (faced the back area) and people in the hallway as well. But overall a great stay! Bean and Vine for coffee in the morning, and Crafted Italia for a delicious dinner!

The Ridge has great pools and outdoor fire pit and is on Lake Como with kayak rentals available. It is not walkable. There are NO SITDOWN BREAKFAST options. The rooms are OK. The lodge was beautiful with a great view of the lake. The staff was very accommodating. They upgraded us to a room with a view of the lake. Nate was very nice with out check in. The restaurant was also very. Nice.

While the resort was under construction in part- I found that all the amenities we needed were still fully accessible. Had a great meal at Crafted Italia. Used the pool and coffee cafe in lobby. I will say while I know a lot of places are short staffed- the pool could have been a little cleaner. Not “dirty” but just needed a good going over.

Always love the ridge. Great pool area and nice rooms. Would love the ability to eat a meal there, tho! No coffee until 7am and only breakfast sandwiches from a snack bar available. No sit down restaurants for breakfast or lunch. Very disappointing!

Fast overnight trip. Everything went as well as can be. We like staying here because of the amenities, restaurant & bar. We can hit the town early and lots of options to keep us entertained in the evening without needing to travel.

We enjoyed the pool and atmosphere. Nice resort and clean. The room itself was a little disappointing. The toliet flushed so loudly and we could even hear our next door neighbors when they were flushing their toliet! The shower was a "step in" which seemed a little dangerous and my husband even stubbed his toe getting in and out. The room seemed a little stuffy when the loud ac wasn't running. We didn't like running the ac a lot because it was running loudly and we couldn't hear the tv. I wish the ventilation was better in the room. For a hotel that was on the more expensive side, I was hoping to have a better experience staying in one of their rooms. We ordered room service from the Italian restaurant, and for 2 plates of pasta for the price we paid, the food wasn't even tasty or a good portion for the price. The property was very scenic and beautiful set right by the lake. Loved the fact that couples were getting married at the property and the pool area was spacious and beautiful with plenty of empty chairs avaliable.
