Van der Valk Hotel Gilze-Tilburg

Prachtige accommodatie met prima voorzieningen. Prima restaurant en mooie Spa!

We had a two night stay to visit Efteling and the hotel was perfect. Easy 15-20 min drive to the park. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms were huge and really comfortable for our family of four. The indoor poor was great for the children but disappointed they weren’t allowed in the outdoor pool in the sunshine. To be honest the hotel has so much more to offer than what we used it for. The restaurant looks stunning and the leisure amenities looked great. We would definitely stay again if visiting the area and happily recommend.

Lekker hotel voor een weekend. We boekten een duurdere kamer met bubbelbad en konden daardoor ook gratis van de fijne wellness in het hotel gebruik maken. Top!

Very unique is the tiny spot outside where you can swim in warm pool water. as always van der Valk is a strongly recommended experience! we traveled a lot and by so far we have never experienced such different positive special spots in each location. even the basic suites are very special.

Ondanks dat het zwembad gesloten was is het een perfecte accommodatie. Wel jammer dat v d Valk niet met een kleine te gemoedkoming gekomen is voor ongemak van het gesloten zwembad.tijdens boeken was het niet bekend.

Clean room, have lots activities you can do, including Casino karaoke etc

Good Hotel. The Room was nicer than some 5*s we have been to. Clean (altough the carpet had some old permanent stains) and the furniture wasnt worn out. The bed was very uncomfortable because it was ridicilously soft and even had another big soft topper on it. The bathroom and shower were great and clean, altough what I thought to be the "Bubble bath" was actually the jetted tub, so instead of the whirlpool i was expecting it was a regular (altough large) bathtub with (extremely loud, not usable at night!) jets in the bottom of it. Sadly you couldn't find any good images of this online beforehand. I tried. No Bath Robe, you had to rent it for 7.50. Rooms aren't really fully soundproof, you absolutely hear the hallway and especially your neighbors doors shutting. You can even hear them talk through closed doors when they're on the balcony. Breakfast, while expensive, really was worth it. The Casino next to the Hotel with free food and drinks was great too. But the machines are basic. The Toucan Health club employees seemed a bit disorganized. The Hotels location is in a nicer location than it looked on the maps, you just have to cross a quiet roundabout and you are in Gilze. Its about 15 minutes of walking to a few restaurants, takeaways and a "Jumbo" Supermarket. Theres a small park too. We were there on the weekend, and I guess the nearby Efteling amusement park is to blame for the fact that it was very loud and packed in the lobby/entrance when we arrived.

Mooi en rustig gelegen hotel. Alleen speciaal kamer met bubbelbad genomen. En wat werkte er niet.... het bubbelbad. Ze gaan het nu repareren. Ja mooi... Geen bubbelbad en geen refund. Verders oke hotel.

This hotel is very quiet, with lots to do on the premises. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are wonderful. They have darkening drapes, fluffy pillows, a small fridge and a safe. There are three indoor pools, an exercise room, sauna, massage room, Karaoke and bowling room. There is a casino as well. This is a great hotel to stay in that is in a nice quiet part of a small town.

Alles was perfect. Inchecken verliep prima. Kamer was schoon. Ontbijt wat super. Groot aanbod en divers. Diner was lekker. Bediening was zeer vriendelijk. Zeker een aanrader. Wij gaan volgend jaar zeker weer hier overnachten

De kamer zag er leuk uit schoonmaak badkamer en putje kan beter water liep niet goed weg matrassen kunnen beter ik stond gebrokop met rugpijn op uit mijn bed

Ik kwam er om te onspannen. Het eerste wat ik zag was een bruine wasbak welke van door make up niet meer schoon te krijgen was . Deze moet echt eens uitgewisseld worden. De hele nacht stond de beluchting van het wc en bad aan en maakte herrie. Ook ging in de nacht ineens het bubblebad aan oftewel er niemand in gezeten heeft. Het ontbijt was om acht uur nog niet helemaal klaar ingedekt oftewel je al vanaf half zeven kon ontbijten. Tijdens het ontbijt wordt er in de zaal schoon gemaakt( stofzuigen) dus dan was het helemaal klaar voor mij. Ook in de omkleden van het zwembad waren de locker defect en zagen er niet uit. Voor dit geld had ik echt meer verwacht.

Matratzen durchgelegen, billigste Qualität. Umzumutbar. Sind deswegen früher abgereist, konnten nicht drauf schlafen. Blut auf Laken. Zimmer klein, stickig. Parkblick ist auf Parkplatz. Zu laut um Fenster offen zu lassen wegen Straßenlärm. Personal an Rezeption arrogant und überheblich.

Avond eten en ontbijt geweldig. Bed ver onder niveau van wat je verwacht. Heel erg gehorige kamers je hoort werkelijk alles en iedereen die voorbij komt op de gangen.

Very short and functional. This chain is always good value with great people. This particular hotel is a little sprawling and doesn’t have the same openness as others but still great.

From my last visit, the services degraded seriously. House keeping were closing the heating in the room every day, the food in restaurant was altered and i had stomach problems after almost every meal. Services in the restaurant were for a 2* restaurant. Never return there

This is a brilliant hotel, very convenient for transport network, fabulous room and really great restaurant. I sat outside for breakfast and it was a lovely start to my day.

Voor ons was alles tiptop. Ontbijt weten we niet, hadden geen tijd daarvoor. Dinner was ook prima! Alles aan te bevelen, we komen zeker weer.
