Fue estancia corta de solo dos noches pero no tuvimos ningún problema mayor. The 16th century building is beautiful & right in the heart of the historic downtown. We chose an interior room, so no windows…but very quiet & it had both A/C and excellent ceiling fans. The room was very clean & perfect for our needs. There’s a restaurant/bar on the top floor with an excellent view of the cathedral & main plaza.

The people at the reception have a terrible acctitud they are not friendly with the guests and the hotel has cockroaches and a bad smell, the towels were stained, I reserved a room with two beds and they only gave me one bed when I spoke to the reception staff they had a bad attitude and the room did not have air conditioning and I had a bad experience and the price is very expensive and they do not give enough bathroom paper, I will never return to that dirty hotel

Hello, I’m writing because I am extremely upset about the conditions of my stay. There was a cockroach infestation in the rooms — and not just one. It was a large family trip . We had 4 rooms and there cockroaches in 3 of them .I have multiple videos clearly showing the roaches on the floor and in the beds I slept in. This completely ruined the stay for me and my family. We were here to spend quality time together, and we saved specifically for this trip. Instead, we spent the stay feeling uncomfortable, unable to relax, and honestly disgusted. This is not acceptable for any hotel, and definitely not for one we trusted for a family vacation. Because of this experience, I will not be returning in the future, and I do expect this to be taken seriously. I would like to know how you plan to address this situation and what you can do to make this right, considering the state of the room and the fact that our trip was clearly impacted. Thank you.

We stayed five nights at the hotel and we definitely enjoyed it. It is located right in front of Morelias Catedral. There are many restaurants in the surrounding areas. It is not luxurious but definitely convenient and kid friendly.The only thing they could probably improve is the bed sheets, they looked kind of yellowish.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, I discovered a serious cockroach infestation in my room — not just one or two, but multiple roaches crawling on the floor and even on the beds. I have several videos documenting this issue, as it was truly shocking and unacceptable. I immediately reported the problem to the General Manager via WhatsApp and even sent the video evidence, expecting a call or at least some kind of response. Unfortunately, no one from the hotel ever followed up with me. The complete lack of communication and accountability made the situation even worse. This experience was distressing for my family and me. We had been looking forward to a relaxing stay, but the unsanitary conditions made it impossible to feel comfortable. It was both unpleasant and disappointing, especially considering the hotel’s reputation and price point. I will not be returning to this property, and I strongly urge management to take this issue seriously and address the hygiene and communication problems immediately.

Had a pleasant 2 night stay. Prime location, A.M /P.M. reception desk was helpful, bellboys & housekeeping were super friendly. The only issue for us were the pillows. They were quite stiff, now I'm dealing with a pinched nerve unfortunately. Other than that, I would stay at this hotel.

The street sides of the hotel are pretty loud. We stayed on a Saturday night and things didn’t calm down until 430 in the morning- being that we were right above the entrance to the hotel, it was fairly loud. If you’re a light sleeper might ask to be placed on the back side of the hotel- it was a fun stay though, cool hotel and the area around was amazing.

Check in was uneasy, then we were given a very small room w/o window. We asked for another room. They said it was full. Later my husband went to check again and we were able to get another room smaller bed but window and ac. We were struggling with the tv to work. It was only one night.

Está muy bien ubicado. Justo frente a Catedral. Puedes llegar a muchos restaurantes y tiendas caminando. No cuenta con estacionamiento, tienes que pagar uno que te condiciona el horario de la entrada y salida. Para recoger nuestro coche se tardaron bastante. Pero lo peor es la habitación, no tenía ninguna ventana, no tiene aire acondicionado, hacia mucho calor!, y lo único era el ventilador del techo que no sirve mucho en realidad, solo hacia mucho ruido.

This property is beautiful. However, though their rooms are advertised to have AC not all do. The man in reception (dark hair and glasses) has horrible customer service and was clearly elitist! He was very short and questions seemed to bother him. Unless you are white American or appear to be “high class”, do not expect good service. The man also decided to “reserve” a taxi for our (2 women) 2am check out, when I did not request it. Rather than courteous and it being a great customer service act, it was suspicious and creepy. Honestly, it’s amazingly located and so aesthetically pleasing, but staff needs serious improvement.

Me tardaron mas de una hora para el acceso ya que según con expedia siempre tienen el problema de que no refleja las reservaciones, tema que resolvió hasta la 2da ocasión en la que le indique que yo contaba con la confirmación y le dije al recepcionista que ya habia esperado tiempo ademas de que el cargo por el pago y se había realizado. Creo que por atención y por el tipo de hotel bien pueden revisar que alternativas tienen para dar solución a sus clientes en lugar de solo decir que no pueden hacer nada y que el cte tiene que esperar

Most of the staff was nice and friendly. What i did not like is the girl that checked us in was rude. We landed early and had hoped we could check in early but were unable to. We did not get a room until 1 hour after check in time. The room that was given to us was not even the room that we reserved. On monday i believe the employee name was Rodolpha went out of her way to let us know the room we had requested was ready so we changed rooms. We could not see TV as the screen most of the time was green.

Hotel Misión Catedral is a nice hotel in the heart of Downtown Morelia right in front of the catedral there is a nice restaurant in the roof of the hotel with a beautiful view of the city and in a very safe area, I think that is the best option for the price in Downtown Morelia

The place was located in town square. Next to the Cathedral. Not going to lie, it was loud during the night. But it was expected given the proximity to the main town square. It had this small balcony, you can open the doors and peak over the busy charming street. Something out of a movie. For the age of the building, it holds its own. Parking is right next to the hotel. Little tricky to get in and out. Overall, we won’t mind booking the place again in the future.

The room was small, I thought we were going to have a balcony, but it was a smaller room. Towels were ok, they looked old. I booked this hotel because of the restaurant and the view. But the rooftop restaurant closes early even on a Friday night! Plan accordingly. The pictures of the cathedral are amazing.
