Best Western Plus Regency Inn and Conference Centre

We were booked in the building next to main hotel, everything was great other than the pool being unavailable (with no signage), and the ice machine broken down (with no signage). We were able to access the pool and ice machine in main building, however it would have been nice to be aware of these issues at check in. Overall, still a nice stay.

Fitness equipment is extremely old and pool condition is needs maintenance

Hot tub jets were not working.

It has a washer and drier room was clean staff is nice parking is safe there’s only one thing wrong the hot tub was not hot the pool was cold the hot tub felt and looked dirty it was unfortunate cause I really think it’s a great place to stay there complimentary breakfast is great

We didn’t use the house cleaning. Would have loved to use the swimming and hot tub especially when raining outside. They were not available. Nice to have a restaurant for pickup and eating in but no delivering service. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

There was a misleading sign about the pool being closed. Apparently one pool was closed but the other wasn't. I didn't know that there were two pools.

Everything was average-good except for the pool. One of the pools was closed and the other one, in the main/check-in building was open and waaay too crowded with very rowdy. Clean pool towels were not being restocked. Breakfast was good.

great stay. my room was near the main door down to the breakfast hall which was pretty loud, with the nightime and morning rush. but thats not uncommon. pool was good and hottub was nice. breakfast was pretty decent. this is my new choice. its lovely with all the renovations, since i stayed there last.

There were clipped toenails in the bed, hair stuck all over the shower walls. It was good otherwise, but the cleanliness was surprisingly bad.

The room was spotless. It was very quiet in room 418. Was great having Ricky’s on site.

The room was gross. It felt wet in the room and smelled like mold or a wet basement. The sink backed up immediately and you could see the hair in the bathtub sink. The face towels were in almost unusable condition. We stayed in 536 We didnt even attempt the pool.

It was a nice room. It just reeked like cigarettes and it was a non smoking room.. some of my belongings are still carrying the odor

Room is musty and damp. You can hear footsteps from above. Common areas not as clean. Vending machines not working.

Room was clean with lots of pillows. There was an odour to the room which was not pleasant. There is a restaurant (Ricky’s) in the same parking lot that had good food and very convenient.

Room was large and clean. The AC unit was quite loud.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It had the convenience of a microwave, small fridge and coffee machine.

Great place to stay and even though it is right by the highway our room was ultra quiet - room facing away from the highway. The breakfast was better than most that are included with your hotel stay.

The rooms are very nice, however the noise from the fridge, heating/cooling system, and the bathroom made for a sleepness night. To top it off you could hear every footstep from the room above. Whenever the room above flushed rheir toilet, or had a shower it was like they were in our bathroom. Very disappointed.

The hotel was okay for a short stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it for more than one night. It’s right off the highway, so not the most relaxing location. Beware of the tub, you could slip if you don’t step in the middle since the sides have a weird angle. They also don’t provide slippers, which makes walking around on the hotel floor feel uncomfortable. We had a room with two queen beds, and one of them had a huge dent at the bottom, almost like the springs were giving out. You couldn’t really sit at the edge of that bed because you’d just slide down, though it was fine to support the weight of our legs while sleeping. The one positive was the breakfast staff, who were kind and friendly while keeping things refilled. Overall, not terrible, but definitely not somewhere I’d choose for a longer stay.

The room was clean and updated. Unfortunately, construction apparently didn’t take soundproofing seriously. While in or room, with no other noise, we could clearly hear a guest in the room above us urinating into the toilet. There were apparently children in the room jumping around and causing our light fixtures and windows to rattle in our room. We didn’t complain to the desk but were disappointed with this.

Great stay for the price. Rooms are updated and well appointed. Bathroom is a little small but clean. Breakfast is good; better than the usual ‘breakfast included’ fare.

Hotel has two separate buildings. It got high marks in reviews, but I can only imagine that those reviews are from people who stayed in the main building. The secondary building had nothing but problems. The only solution offered for most problems was to walk across the parking lot and over to the main building next door. Day 1: We got to our room and the door was open. We discovered that the door did not shut all the way on its own and that you had to pull it shut to close and lock it. Ice machine and vending machines were both broken. Their solution was to walk over to the main building and use the ice and vending machines there. The indoor pool is in the main building so you have to walk outside to get to it as well. Day 2: Both key cards stopped working on outer doors. Went to get them re authrorized and staff blamed us for mistreating the keys. Got into the building and discovered that the room was open because housekeeping didn't pull the door closed. Reported it again. Day 3: Arrived back at the room in the evening and once again the door was left open. Reported again. Day 4: Keys stopped working again. Front desk again blamed us. Room was left open. Reported. Day 5; Ice and vending machines still not working in secondary buildng and room was once again left open. The rooms were clean and quiet and the breakfast selection was OK. This is usually all I care about. I could overloook the ice and vending issues. But not leaving the door open EVERY SINGLE DAY.

I work out of town, so I stay in hotels 5-7 times a month. On this particular occasion, I flew From Calgary to Abbotsford for a wedding in Aldergrove. I got to the hotel exhausted around 9am, with normal check in time around 4pm and a wedding at 4pm I expected to get a room around 3pm and rush to get ready Not only did they get a room cleaned for me by 10am so I could nap, they also asked to make sure I had breakfast already and after saying no, they gave me a key card and offered me a free buffet breakfast even though I wasn’t entitled to one. Thank you for your kindness and generosity!

The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. There are hot tubs and pools. Unfortunately the breakfast was not great, and we found the staff at the front were not very helpful and difficult to understand. When we asked where the breakfast was they directed us to cross the parking lot, and instructed us it was at the doors to the right of Ricky's Restaurant. When we went to that area there was a small private dining area that was empty - eventually some Ricky's staff directed us to the other end of the building (the front - street facing portion). Not helpful when you are pushed for time getting to the airport. The hotel is an 8 min ride from Abbotsford Airport which was handy.

There was a mix-up with the reservation. While this was my fault, they were singularly unhelpful in trying to resolve. The front desk clerk said it had to be dealt with by the manager, the next day. The manager in the morning avoided us until we stood in front of the front desk and were not going to move. The manager then said that because it wasn't resolved the night before they could do nothing. Not good service. Otherwise, the hotel was good as was the breakfast.

I asked for morning call which they replied they would but I received no morning call. Also soon after I checked in and was sorting my suitcase an employee just barged into my room without knocking. Then just popped her head in and saw me kinda stunned, to which she reacted by saying “sorry sorry” and closed the door. Super unsatisfied with the sleep as well I was in the first floor and you can hear everything in the hallways and above you which caused me to wake up a lot during the night. I’m very surprisingly dissatisfied with this location. Usually best western is a reliable hotel company which I love staying in, but this one is definitely one of the worst ones I’ve stayed in. Period.

Convenient location for short term stay. I was lucky enough to have been placed in the main building. Parking was a tad tricky in the evenings with the pavement being fixed all week.

Very nice room but would recommend one NOT on highway

Staff were friendly location was easy to get to, food places close by and easy to get back into the highway.

The hotel was good, except it being right off Hwy 1. It was very noisy.

stayed at this hotel more than once. the breakfast is one of the better ones we've had. Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean. The road noise is there because it's right on the highway.

The phone message says pancakes, waffles and cinnamon French toast. There was a limited selection and no pancakes or waffles and the last peace of French toast was waiting LONG TIME for someone to get it @ 8:30am. The whole experience was lack luster.

The breakfast was great, and it changed each day waffles one day, cinnamon French toast the next. Cheese omelette, one day scrambled eggs, another.

Breakfast area got crowded with the size of the hotel and only one place to eat. Both buildings came over to one area and it’s just not enough space.

Room was okay. Continental breakfast was good but didn’t have any gluten free options for my niece, so she could not eat anything for breakfast before we checked out.

THE free bkfst. is a joke-no where near enough room for all the people. We ate all 3 bkfsts. at Rickys-cost an extra $75 plus tips. It was on the weekend thou.

I did not find anything that I did not like, check in and check out was very good, the rooms were clean, the chambermaids were good as they answered all my questions and supplied me with two smaller pillows that I requested and the breakfast every morning was good with a change in selection every day. There was one thing I was not a happy camper with,the on property restaurant named Ricky's, poor service and the food less that acceptable in my opinion.

A beautiful hotel! Comfortable bed, very quiet, everything worked well. Didn't leave anything out with the breakfast. I'm Celiac and there were things I could eat. Signage regard gluten free items. Really nice eating area - even tables with umbrellas in a grassy area outside. Nices hotel weve stayed at in a while. Priced very reasonably. We'll stay here when next we visit Abbotsford.
