Hotel is well maintained although starting to show its age a bit. Pool and gym are quite basic but fill the need. Breakfast was very poor and needs to be amended. Little or no fresh fruit, run out of bowls, plastic forks, people lined up in the hall on a Sunday morning even though there is an adjoining room. This did get opened but not until it was too late.

This was our 3rd time staying at Country Inn & Suites Calgary. We always have a great stay. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is always very good. We use the pool several times and it is clean and a good size. The coffee and cookies in the lobby are a lovely treat. Thank you for another great stay. See you next year.

We have stayed many times in the accessibility room and this time there was a new rug installed. In an accessible room flooring should be Lino not rug if you’re going to replace flooring. Much easier for moving a wheelchair. I have also mentioned a few times that the handicap bars in the bathroom should be around the toilet and not behind the toilet and next to the counter. The counter can be used to hold onto so not necessary to have a rail inches from the counter . The new rug was soaking wet outside the bathroom and the room had a bad smell to it. The toilet still doesn’t flush properly and we’ve mentioned that every visit. Hallway rug is rolling so needs to be stretched or replaced before someone trips. Would have been money better spent on the hallway rug rather than the one in the accessibility room. Nice huge new tv in the room though

Great place to stay. Near the airport but you can't hear anything.

Overall, it is a good hotel, although the room we were initially given had a very old TV with no access to Netflix or YouTube. We had to ask to be moved to another room, and they were able to help us with that. The cleanliness was good. They came every day around 12:00 to clean the room and make the bed. The breakfast is good, but there are a few things that could be improved, such as offering cheese and ham and having a greater variety of fruit, since there were only apples and bananas. The eggs were also quite bland and could be improved. Some of the front desk staff were friendly, while others were not as welcoming and seemed very serious or uninterested. One night, I asked for some plates and a knife because it was my boyfriend’s birthday. They didn’t say anything about it or acknowledge the occasion; they simply gave me the plates and a disposable knife in a rather unfriendly manner. The housekeeping staff, on the other hand, were warmer, friendlier, and more approachable. Regarding the location, the hotel is closer to the airport, and there is a Tim Hortons and a Burger King nearby. Public transportation (bus or train) is not as convenient or easily accessible. Downtown is about a 15-minute Uber ride away.
