Great location west of Calgary for easy travel to Banff but would recommend Canmore or Braggs Creek. The hotel has a good bar and restaurant so no need to leave the hotel to get something to eat. We were away for over two weeks so the use of the laundry room was so convenient for us, meaning we didn’t need to take any dirty laundry home. We used the pool and jacuzzi which was very warm at 40.c. There is ample parking, with amenities close by, fuel station, McDonald’s, A&W, and a liquor store. The Calgary ski jumps are to the rear of the hotel, but a real shame they are no longer being used, you cannot even travel up the ski jumps anymore

I booked this hotel because I really wanted a swim after 2 full days of travel. Of course the pool was closed for maintenance. It’s a tired old hotel. I was grumpy. I’m sure there are plenty of good things about it.
