I couldn’t benefit from the spa services as the sauna was cold and the steam bath wasn’t working. Just a couple of streets behind the hotel there are neighborhoods with unsafe people, so it only feels nice if you stick to one specific route. The room was also cold. Since I booked a non-refundable service, I couldn’t cancel, and nobody offered me any help. Honestly, I didn’t like it very much.

The hotel was lovely and in a great location within short walking distance of the train station and other transport links. the shops, restaurants and the lake. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The only minor issue was the toilet because it did not have a sink and we found it inconvenient having to use the bathroom to wash our hands especially in the middle of the night but I think that it is quite common for toilets in Switzerland not to have a sink. However, I would recommend that the hotel leave some hand gel in the toilet. Also the gym was smaller than it looked in the picture e.g. 1 cross trainer and 2 treadmills 2 bikes and a few weights. However, the spa was lovely.

The location of this hotel made us feel unsafe. There is a lot of questionable activity going on in the surrounding streets. The hotel itself was mediocre. The walls between the rooms are paper thin and we could not sleep through the night from the loudness. Also we were out on the first floor facing the street so you can imagine how loud that was. Upon arriving to the room we noticed we did not even have a bar of soap to wash our hands. I had to call the front desk and they were surprised I am even asking. The sheets had a yellow stain on them and just overall the room did not feel clean. We will not be staying here again.

hotel bem localizado, lobby muito bonito e o atendente do check-in muito prestativo e simpático, inclusive fez o atendimento em português. cafe da manha muito bom. apenas os elevadores são um pouco pequenos para uma família de 2 adultos e 2 crianças irem juntos e houve uma discreta demora, mas que não compromete em nada o hotel. quarto confortável e bem limpo.

When we entered the hotel we had 4 bags. There is a staircase inside the lobby before you check in. Not only did the staff not come to help with the luggage but they didn’t bother to mention there is an elevator for luggage. The bedsheet had stains when we checked in. We didn’t enjoy our stay.

Overall, we were not satisfied. We stayed on the top floor; the room was cold and did not warm up despite the air conditioning working. The air conditioning would not heat above 23 degrees, which is a low temperature by Swiss standards. My friend got food poisoning from the scrambled eggs at breakfast, and we had to go to the hospital in the evening. We will not choose this place agai

If you want a night sleep book somewhere else! I stayed in Room 320. I specifically requested a quiet room due to my medical condition (epilepsy), as sleep deprivation triggers my seizures. Instead, I was placed in a room directly opposite a karaoke bar that operates until 4 AM! Its not just those rooms there's a whole side to the hotel that faces this bar and I imagine as the weather becomes nicer more people will congregate outside and be even louder Despite raising the issue with reception, their only solution was to call the bar, which had no impact. Upon checkout, staff admitted this noise disturbance is a recurring issue for rooms on that side of the hotel, yet no warning was given, nor was any action taken to mitigate the impact on guests. If you want a decent sleep I really suggest booking another hotel. I really wish I had of been informed so i could have the choice of going somewhere else as have to really take my sleep health seriously due to the type of seizures I have i may not come out of them! The noise was so severe that I could not sleep, leading to me having seizure the following day. This experience was unacceptable and totally preventable. Guests with ANY needs should be accommodated appropriately! and all guests should be informed of potential issues in advance, staff know about the bar noise and no notification or advise upon check in, If I had of been informed I even would of said ill either happily pay for an upgrade or cancel altogether.

The property was great but this toilet separate from a sink is not great. We stayed in a place in Paris that was the same…not a fan. The layout of the bathroom itself could be different to allow for more counter space and the shower could maybe be part of the bathtub?

This hotel is a short walk from the main train station and close to the waterfront. It has lots of dining options around and their breakfast option was great. Check in and check out process is very fast. The room itself was very spacious and clean.

The hotel was lovely and in a great location within short walking distance of the train station and other transport links. the shops, restaurants and the lake. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. I made a mistake in the month I booked,May instead of June. When I got a notification from the website I called the hotel. It was still afternoon in california but evening over there . I told them about the honest mistake I getting the wrong month and was told I needed to call hotel.Com. They said I needed to call the hotel. Needless to say I called the hotel back in the morning their time but while it was still night here it was morning over there and the hotel said they could not do anything about it and insisted I do a new reservation for June

We had a strange check in experience. At first, it was the best check in experience i ever had. Very thorough. She said she placed us in back of hotel to avoid noise. When we got to our room, there was a baby crying next door & a terrible view, so we called the front desk & asked if we could move rooms. They said yes & when i returned to the front desk the same person who checked us in gave us the hardest time moving rooms & made a rude remark that if the next room had a crying baby next door she couldn’t move us. Her demeanor completely shifted & made me feel completely uncomfortable for the rest of my stay. Too bad because it was a nice hotel. Maybe dont lie to customers and tell them you are placing them in back due to noise level when you clearly dont care which noises actually bother us. City noise over crying babies any day.

Easy walk from the train station and down to the Lake and shopping areas. Multiple restaurants and dining options all around. Hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely stay at this property again.

I was a little disappointed because it said that coffee was included with the room. The first day was okay, but on the second day, when we asked for creamer, they said we had to pay for it. Usually, most hotels include coffee. It was surprising that we stayed at Novotel Zurich and they didn't have that policy.
