The lack of essential amenities such as a kettle, iron, and slippers, both in-room and available upon request, significantly detracted from the overall comfort of the stay. Additionally, the hotel's restrictive policy prohibiting outside food and drinks left guests with limited dining options and a sense of frustration. Adding to the dissatisfaction was the demeanor of the staff members, who were described as rude and unpleasant to interact with. This negative interaction further compounded the already disappointing experience, making the stay at Hotel Mariem less than enjoyable.
