The property is pretty old. No lift to the second floor. The main good thing is that it’s just next to the beach. The restaurant is average. Very clean room. Unfortunately the exhaust fan to the toilet needs attention. Too noisy. Perhaps of ageing. Very nice clean pool. To watch the sunset.

Great location and direct access to Seminyak beach, with many beach bars and restaurants in the area, ideal for sunset, and close enough to night life. The pool was great with enough sunbeds. The room was really spacious, with a great bed and large shower. The only thing to improve is that the balcony in the room deserved a couple of chairs for guests to relax there, otherwise it is pointless to have that balcony. Reception and restaurant staff were really kind and helpful.

Breakfast was fresh every day. Staff are so lovely and super helpful. Rooms are very clean and spacious and are serviced daily. Views of the beach from pool and restaurant. Swim up bar which is awesome. We always stay here and have never had any complaints.

The Pelangi is right next to the beach in Seminyak with a large pool with a swim up bar. The food is good and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and the bed was comfortable. I had a great stay

The hotel staff was absolutely delightful. The property is located on a beautiful beach and the pool was nice. The only reason for the rating of 4 is that some rooms had moldy smell. But i take into consideration that the humidity may be a cause of it and maybe they should place humidifiers in the rooms

The staff were awesome. Location was close to beach and also walking distance to town. It was a quiet location. We would definstay again. Rooms werre clean and serviced dsuly although they disnt change linen every day.

Our room was very nice. Close to the pool and the restaurant for breakfast but very quiet. The housekeeping staff did a great job and they were in and out quickly. We loved the proximity to the beach and also the pool. We would stay here again.

Great place to stay in Seminyak. Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, and a beautiful pool with swim-up bar. Breakfast options are great (omelette is a highlight). And it’s right next to the beach too (if you get a room on that side of the hotel). We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Every single staff member we met was so friendly! This hotel has everything you need- spa, laundry, 24/7 room service, money exchange, swim up bar and the biggest plus is you walk across the road to the beach (you can see the beach from the pool/ restaurant). The location is great, you’re off the Main Streets of craziness but a quick walk to the shops. They also put on different activities that you can do. Our room was spacious and the bed was massive. Our room had a small balcony which did the job. Breakfast was okay, they rotated foods but we got quite over it after 5 days but I would still recommend adding the breakfast for convenience. Negatives: the pillows are extremely uncomfortable (quite firm), I asked for a softer pillow and they did bring a different one but still wasn’t my cup of tea. Being a young couple, we did notice that there was quite a lot of older people staying here. The laundry & spa is on the pricier side, but directly across the road you can get both for half the price! There is also a convenient store across the road which was handy. Same with money exchange which you can get a better rate at. Overall we would definitely stay again.

Balinese style hotel. Clean and tidy everywhere. Breakfast options limited compared to some but for the price we paid was good. We had issues with the toilet flushing but attempts were made to resolve it twice. Resorted to using the kettle to help. Water pressure was low some days and shower not great as a consequence. That was our experience but please don’t base your decision on that. Right on the sea front with views of the ocean at breakfast and by the pool. Value for money for sure. Lots of bars and restaurants around so the location is great.

All of the rooms have more of a Juliet style balcony overlooking the garden view with no outdoor seating options. Excellent location that provides easy access to the beach (across the street) and walkable to an array of restaurants, nighlife, market and shopping.

LOVED the location of this resort-style hotel. Steps away from the beach, many restaurants and shopping. The pool was warm and clean, the breakfast had a vast variety and was very tasty. The staff are amazing! All smiles and warm greetings with every passing. Our room was quiet, clean and had a comfortable bed. The only "con" was that the bathroom could use an upgrade. We didn't have very good water pressure but they did come in and made it slightly better. I would definitely stay here again.

This was my second time staying at Pelangi. I love the feel of this place. Fantastic pool with the beach only metres away. My room was spacious, with a huge bed and a balcony overlooking the courtyard. The breakfast was great (Egg station) and you can eat around the pool which also has a swim up bar. The beach has multiple restaurants with beanbags on the beach and entertainment each night and amazing sunsets. There's a busy shopping strip not far away as well. Balinese people are gentle, warm, welcoming and ever so friendly. The hotel exudes these qualities and charm through its staff that are an asset to the hotel. Their welcome drink at check-in was an example. We experienced a hiccup on check in. In their registry it showed 2 adults checking in. Our hotel confirmation showed 2 adults + 1 child. After the check-in staff consulted with reservations, it was fine. Originally she thought we had underpaid. Make sure you bring your proof of reservation on phone or paper! This puts a marr on the stay. My daughter fell sick during our stay. She had a terrible runny nose. When I called reception at 4am to ask for another box of tissues, they were very obliging and brought it to our room. Thank you! Housekeeping staff were very efficient with daily service of the room. On our 1st day we went to breakfast and returned to a tidy room 40mins later. This totally surprised us. This happened everyday during our stay. You can access the beach from the back of the hotel (near pool). It’s not a private beach. If you walk along the beach, you can reach Seminyak Square (couple of turns later). It’s lovely to walk and sit on the beach during sunset- gorgeous! Lots of people do it. You can access lots of restaurants from the beach side. Menu items are inexpensive. Balinese people are gentle, warm, welcoming and ever so friendly. The hotel exudes these qualities and charm through its staff that are an asset to the hotel. Their welcome drink at check-in was an example. We experienced a hiccup on check in. In their registry it showed 2 adults checking in. Our hotel confirmation showed 2 adults + 1 child. After the check-in staff consulted with reservations, it was fine. Originally she thought we had underpaid. Make sure you bring your proof of reservation on phone or paper! This puts a marr on the stay. My daughter fell sick during our stay. She had a terrible runny nose. When I called reception at 4am to ask for another box of tissues, they were very obliging and brought it to our room. Thank you! Housekeeping staff were very efficient with daily service of the room. On our 1st day we went to breakfast and returned to a tidy room 40mins later. This totally surprised us. This happened everyday during our stay. You can access the beach from the back of the hotel (near pool). It’s not a private beach. If you walk along the beach, you can reach Seminyak Square (couple of turns later). It’s lovely to walk and sit on the beach during sunset- gorgeous! Lots of people do it. You can access lots of restaurants from the beach side. Menu items are inexpensive. Concierge having been given a decent tip for pushing one case 20 yards staring like I had just insulted his mother was a bit off! Other than that the staff were lovely ! Really nice and quiet hotel in good location !

The Pelangi hotel and spa was a great hotel. Great location - across from the beach in the best part of Seminyak. Staff were very friendly and attentive, rooms were large and clean. Could not fault and would definitely return.

Very nice place. Great location. We had an issue with air conditioning, but it was quickly solved with excellent communication every step of way. Especially enjoyed the rooftop restaurant.

Great location and direct access to Seminyak beach, with many beach bars and restaurants in the area, ideal for sunset, and close enough to night life. The pool was great with enough sunbeds. The room was really spacious, with a great bed and large shower. The only thing to improve is that the balcony in the room deserved a couple of chairs for guests to relax there, otherwise it is pointless to have that balcony. Reception and restaurant staff were really kind and helpful.

We had issues with the toilet flushing but attempts were made to resolve it twice. Resorted to using the kettle to help. Water pressure was low some days and shower not great as a consequence. That was our experience but please don’t base your decision on that. Right on the sea front with views of the ocean at breakfast and by the pool. Value for money for sure. Lots of bars and restaurants around so the location is great.

I loved the location, so easy to get around and with beach access at a reasonable price. The breakfast was a let down, but was par for the course of a moderate price hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bathroom is very small and a struggle for 2 people to use with the biggest problem being no where to hang wet clothes at all and with swimming we had constant wet and damp clothes from rain

We enjoyed our stay from start to finish. The service by all of the employees was outstanding. Great breakfast buffet every morning. We also chose to eat dinner in the restaurant three of the four nights we stayed there out of convenience and satisfaction with the food. Easy access to the beach and swimming pool made our stay perfect. It’s a long walk from the lobby to some of the rooms but the further from the lobby makes you closer to the restaurant, pool and beach. If you wish to stay in Seminyak this hotel is an excellent choice.

Breakfast was fresh every day. Staff are so lovely and super helpful. Rooms are very clean and spacious and are serviced daily. Views of the beach from pool and restaurant. Swim up bar which is awesome. We always stay here and have never had any complaints.

Pelangi was one of the best stays we have ever had. Anywhere. Ever.
