Sonesta ES Suites Nashville Brentwood

The room was excellent! The smoke alarms were annoying though - they flashed every so often which is not bad in the daytime but is bright and annoying at night. There were *two* smoke alarms in view of the bed. We also sat outside for awhile in the courtyard (which was nice), but the firepit and the patio heaters (it was a chilly evening) seemed to be broken. They had a good breakfast with some hot food and the other usual fare.

Nice suites to stay at on the outskirts of Nashville. Nice separate bedrooms with comfy beds. This was great for us, as we had two 2 bedroom suites for 5 of us on a girls trip. You do have to lug your luggage up stairs, no elevator, but we managed just fine.

I made a reservation to stay at this hotel for 6 nights so my grandchildren could swim in the pool. I live 30 minutes away. On the day of my arrival my granddaughter jumped in the pool and I immediately noticed the pool was a solid murky blue. I had her hop out (she is 7) and Google - solid, murky pool. What it showed was E. coli, bacteria, algae, etc. Do not swim in Pool. I immediately went in the office and asked to speak with the manager. I was told the manager was off for the weekend. This was Friday at 2 o’clock. I was given a card and told to call her, but she does not usually pick up on weekends. I did call and got her voice message and asked about the pool and when it would be fixed.I left my phone number and email address. I also called the other phone number on the card and it connected me with the other Sonesta hotel a block away. The desk manager at the other hotel informed me they have a pool maintenance man that comes every morning. I informed him I didn’t find that possible since the pool was not in usable condition. He said he would inform him of my concerns. I went out to the pool the next day. The Pool was in even worse condition, now completely solid thick blue and a pool closed sign on the gate. This continued every day for the next six days. I went to the front desk and was told the manager was not in. I never received a call or email from the manager. The pool was unavailable during my entire stay. No accountability!

The room was very nice and clean. The property was nice and quiet and very welcoming! The pool could have been better. The water was cloudy so we chose not to swim in it. Overall it was a great stay and somewhere we will definitely stay at again.

Staff was friendly when checking in but no linens for the sofa bed, room smelled gross, fruit flies everywhere and we did not have any food in the room when we got there. There was a leak in the ceiling in one of the bedrooms, we stayed for 4 nights and no housekeeping. No one emptied the talked or offered fresh towels. Pool was super dirty & cloudy. Only 1 out of 3 tvs worked. The tv in the gym also didn’t work. Cleanly none of the property is well maintained

As one can see from photos kitchen is a bit dated, but it’s comfortable and feels like home. The grounds and pool area are nice. Breakfast offerings change a little every day which makes it more interesting. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Hotel could have been average but had some real problems and oddities - dead bugs on floor of room, broken bathtub/shower temperature valve, debris floating in outdoor pool, crumpled/unclean blankets left in room, a young child playing in the parking lot in the middle of the night each night we were there. Avoid.

The property was in rough shape. Along with the interior and the room. Lightbulbs burnt out in the room ceiling, the carpet was a mess and ripped in various places, and the TV would not work, along with the internet. The tub was stained and dirty. And the list goes on. No elevator or ice machine.

Selected this facility so the kids could enjoy the pool. Pool was not very clean, however. Debris in the water, and the bottom was gritty.

A little outdated but reasonable for the price. The place is not what it once was. Everything was in decent condition. Good free breakfast included. The pool was non-functional. Outside property was littered with cigarette butts. Staff was very helpful.

The room smelled of cigarette smoke. Damage to the walls, dirty floors, dirty bathtub. Would absolutely not stay here again.

The room was disgusting. Floors hadn’t been vacuum it seemed like in days, dog hair throughout the entire place, bugs crawling in the kitchen, water not draining in the tub, AC not running properly, and smelled musty in the room.

Had I not prepaid, I probably would have left. The room I stayed in had black mold on all of the ceiling vents which means there is probably mold in the ductwork. I washed all of the dishes and the cabinets when I got there due to the fact they were filthy. I also dusted the lamps which looked like they had not been dusted in months. I was very disappointed in the cleanliness overall. Everything else was ok, but I will not return.

We stayed at this location July 31-August 4, 2025. When we arrived at the main building to check-in the supervisor was extremely nice and welcoming! We reserved 2 "suites" both had 2 rooms, a kitchen, living room and 2 bathrooms. I say "suites" because the longer we stayed at this location the more in just seemed like they were wanting this location to be long term rental apartments. Which is completely fine! I would just prefer that be communicated somehow on the website. When we entered the first "suite" there was mold all around the air vent, the outlet in the bathroom behind a towel was hanging out of the wall. The floors were absolutely disgusting!! Obviously, when going to hotel,motels, condos, etc.. you dont expect the carpets to be sparkling. HOWEVER, when you can literally see the filth(dirt) on the floor that's ridiculous. We have 4 kids 12years old down to a 1year old. Unfortunately, I did not allow them to even play on the floor due to this. There was also about the size of quarter cockroach on the floor that we found beside the curtains. The ice maker in the fridge did not work as well. Our second "suite" had all the same issues just no roach was found. I would say this was just bad timing. However, they did switch one of our rooms and it had the same issues, but again just without the roach. The pool was fine the first night, but after that there was hair throughout the pool . Visible from just standing outside of the pool.

We enjoyed the apartment -like setup with 2 suites and the receptionist and Cook Albennet? we’re fabulous. However the rooms were in need of a deep cleaning(random splashes and stains on walls and doors, extremely dusty air vents, large spider web on ceiling above fireplace, mold noted under shower soap bottles and bath caulking. Worst part was the live roach running across our living room floor.

This place was gross. Water leaking from fridge, hair in the drains, they had no towels to give us beyond the 2 provided, wiped up water on the floor w a paper towel and it came up black. Front desk support was awful the evening of check in. I would NEVER consider this place again.

Pretty good property in a nice area. Several walkable restaurants. Great room space and layout. Awful "breakfast" ... mystery meat is an understatement, along with very less than fresh pastry options. And, oh yeah, we woke up to a huge roach crawling across the middle of the suite.

The room we stayed in was filthy, blood on the carpets, mold in the tubs and stains on the comforters. The room door handle was broken. I have never been so disgusted in my life. The area was great and parking was convenient.

Room had bad odor and was not super clean. Spider webs, actual spider in the kitchen sink and wrappers from fruit snacks on floor. Bed and bathroom were clean enough. Breakfast was ok.

The place was filthy and unkept, the pool looked unsanitary for use, half of the lighting on the grounds was nonfunctional. Our room was a disgrace…very disappointed.

Formally a Residence Inn, now Sonesta ES, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Like a studio apartment. Would’ve expected a full refresher with the Sonesta take-over… still appeared to have the original carpet that was torn and tattered stepping in the bathroom. But bed was new and comfortable and room was very clean. Dead of winter and the HVAC worked well and was quiet, which is important to me. Hard to beat for the price in the Brentwood area and I’ll stay there again.

Bed was very comfortable and I loved having all of the counter space in the bathroom for getting ready. We took a Lyft to Downtown Nashville instead of driving and it was very convenient and under $20 with tip each way on a Saturday night. If you are visiting Nashville but do not want to spend so much on a Downtown hotel, consider this hotel. We also visited the Parthanon and Historcal Belle Meade home, both were great to see! Next time I am visiting Nasvhille, I will book a room here.

The lobby and check in was average. I was disappointed to learn that the type of room that we reserved (2 bedroom suite) was not available when we checked in. However, we were given 2 separate rooms instead without additional charge. The rooms were VERY spacious and comfortable. On the negative side, there were just enough towels, for 2, but the room can sleep 4+. The biggest concern that other travelers may have is that there is no elevator. We had to carry all our luggage up the staircase to the second floor. If were in the area again, I may stay here again, but I would also check other options first. The room itself was really nice for the price and the breakfast was good too.

The room was very spacious and clean. I absolutely love the privacy its like your own studio apartment!!! They provide all the essential cookware and they also supply dish detergent and dish washer cleaner. Definitely 5

We absolutely loved our stay at the Sonesta in Brentwood! It was our first time in the area. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean and had all the amenities!! The breakfast is excellent value and provides plenty of options for everyone. My only recommendation was that perhaps some exterior yardwork and maintenance be considered. Some paths were slightly overgrown from the foliage and the stairs/stairwells were in need of a clean up. Swept, and spiderwebs etc dealt with. Otherwise? Exceptional we would return and seek other Sonestas in the future

Was a comfortable and spacious room for our family. We appreciated having two bedrooms and two bathrooms as well. The building itself is older and a bit run down. While the surrounding area was convenient in terms of food/gas, etc. the hotel itself needs updating and some maintenance of grounds.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, comfortable bed & room. Location close to many restaurants & venues.

A very nice motel very close to Nashville. Room was large with kitchen unit. Price was fairly low.

The only thing we were disappointed about is check in. They say 4 is checkin and we arrived at 4:45 and our rooms were not ready. We had to wait tired in the lobby for another 20 minutes. To make it worse the young man at the desk was not very friendly and never said “ I’m sorry for the delay”.

I would love to rate the Staff excellent but my last evening there I had a terrible situation with Sanchia. This woman should never work hospitality again. Simple request for towels and I got yelled at staying “don’t come at me, I just got here” and “ do you expect me to leave and get you towels?” Well yes I do. I’ve been asking since 7 am. It was now 5pm. Still now towels. On a positive note Kiemion, you are a prime example of excellent customer services and working hard. We booked our stay months in advance but when we arrived we were told they had overbooked and we would have to find another hotel. We were exhausted after a long day but we found a hotel nearby that had openings. We booked through Expedia but don’t know what transpired to create our dilemma.

We had a great stay. The building is a bit older so there were some minor dings, but everything was very clean. The staff were amazing - going above and beyond to make it a positive experience. That started from the moment Kiemion met us at the front desk with a big 'hello'. There was a great vibe with families, kids and teens hanging out at the pool and basketball court. The location was perfect for visiting family im Franklin and driving back and forth to Nashville. We will stay here again :)

Terrible check-in. When we walked in at 4:48 PM the young man at the desk didn't greet us, although the young woman did. Instead, the young man barked "Last name?" at us. Our rooms weren't ready, and several others in the lobby were also waiting for rooms. We were told it would be "about 10 minutes" before our rooms were ready (I had booked 2 rooms a month or more before the check in date). We waited 55 minutes before we were told our rooms were ready. When I learned one of our rooms was on the 2nd floor and was told there were no elevators, I pointed out that the website had said the amenities included elevators. The young man actually argued with me, questioning my statement and asking me to essentially "prove it". Once in my room, I found spider cobwebs in several areas, and the clocks in the kitchen hadn't been changed for the daylight savings change a month earlier. The fitness center had no sanitizing wipes and the equipment hadn't been cleaned or wiped down. The clock had stopped, apparently due to a dead battery. I would NOT recommend a Sonesta Suites hotel, extended stay or otherwise, to anyone. Nor would I stay there again myself.

I’ve stayed here 3 times prior to this stay. Every time Sonesta has been an awesome experience. That being said, THIS stay was incredibly disappointing. We arrived at 4:30p and was told that the 2 bedroom suite I already paid for online (reserved through Expedia) was “unavailable due to maintenance.” They had no other 2 bedroom suites to offer. Only thing available was one bedroom. This was inconvenient because I was traveling with my older parents and my kid, which was why I booked a 2 bedroom suite. They gave us rooms beside one another but no discount because I had already paid via third party. Check in process took 45 minutes. Our key cards failed 3 times. Beds were comfortable as usual, and the room was as expected. Nice to have a kitchenette area. But, overall, this was a disappointing stay experience compared to prior stays here. I certainly will never book a hotel stay through Expedia again

Very convenient, close to downtown - but away from all the Hussle and Bussle. Staff was exceptionally nice and welcoming! Will definitely being staying here again when returning to Nashville.

This was a nice property in the Brentwood area of Nashville. Nice to get away from the downtown for a couple days. Wonderful walking/running trail right behind the property.

The accessibility to room from car is very convenient. The area around the hotel is beautiful and relaxing.

The room was clean and presentable and the parking was easy. The continental breakfast was very good with lots of options.

The staff was extremely friendly , even when we had any kind of issues they helped me out with friendliness. the only complaint I have is the breakfast...it was the exact same breakfast taco every single morning with not a lot of alternative options if you didnt want the taco

Our Room was clean, roomy and comfortable. The breakfast-while good- did not have eggs/hash browns available for 2 mornings-and we had to wait 5-10 minutes for them to re-fill them. Overall, our stay was very nice!

First, no hot water for our entire stay (3 days). There were no communications or eta for the fix. Front desk had no answers. Secondly, breakfast was disappointing. They kept running out of everything including coffee no matter what time we went to eat. Lastly, the room was dusty and remote did not work. I have stayed at this place twice before with no issues except for the undesirable breakfast.
