Room was very dirty, Hallways and stairway were very dirty, Elevator didn't work.

It was in a poorer section of town and there were bugs (crickets, I hope ) dead in the stairwell that never got cleaned up. Vending machines were not stocked and all were out of order. Staff was not rude but not friendly either

The pop vending machines were sold out. The food vending only took cash not a card. This forced me to use the ATM that charged 8.99 to get cash. The tub had cigarette burns on it. The phone disconnected. There was a mirror that was not hung on the wall. My pet was not accepted even with the internet stating it was pet friendly. Breakfast should have had yogurt available

Hotel was overall okay for a one night stay. Staff was very friendly. Be wary that property smells like smoke/weed. Overall, hotel was quiet for a weekday. Breakfast was very limited. if you are looking for a pet friendly hotel- this is not your place as they no longer accept pets as of january 2025.

The first thing, there was no cord for the phone. I had to use my cell to call the front desk and it was never provided. The room we were put in had roaches crawling around. We were booked in an "upgraded" suite. So after packing up to move in the middle of the night I couldn\'t get the door open because it was off the hinges. One of the off duty employees had to shoulder it to open it. Inside it was dirty. I wiped it down with my disinfectant wipes but it had confetti and straws left behind. On Saturday morning the only elevator was broken. My disabled husband and I had to walk down the 4 flights of stairs. We left for breakfast at 8:30 AM after being told repairs were ordered. We called to check, and was told it would be probably Monday at the earliest. We were told we could be moved to a first floor accessible room, but there was no one to help us move our luggage as the staff goes leaves at 3? Needless to say we had to leave. Luckily we had some family that was able to walk the 4 floors of stairs and pack and get our things. The hotel was unwilling to refund anything but the upcoming day. I\'d give them negatives if i could.

Bedding not clean.. hotel smelled of marijuana and cigarettes. Doors not secure and often left open (back entrance and side entrance to hotel)

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The whole hotel smells of Marijuana even including the non smoking room. The hotel advertised a fitness center but when we asked was told it was closed. We would have picked a different hotel if we would have known that. But the main issue is the lack of basic security. For one the elevator is overdue for inspection. And our hotel door the front door leading to our room would not shut properly. I was not able to shut it, my fiancée had to shut it for me. In order to shut it he bad to lift the entire door up and close it. This is a huge safety hazard. Not to mention them leaving the front door to the hotel unlocked without someone monitoring the front desk to see who comes and goes. I cannot tell you how uneasy it made me feel. Especially with the amout of sierens we heard each night of police chasing after cars. When we talked to the front desk they smiled and stated they are aware the door does not close well but they are getting it renovated. As a hotel you owe your guests the bare minimum of basic security. The other main issue was the cleanliness of the hotel and room itself. It was disgusting. Rusty nails sticking out by the toilet, holes that you can see daylight through by the AC, dust, cobwebs, dirty spots everywhere especially on the walls, ceiling and ceiling fan. I do not believe the room was properly cleaned before we checked in due us finding a sock on the floor which did not belong to us.

Door to room was damaged and hard to open and close. Floor was some kind of laminiate. Water was seeping up through the concrete below the laminate floor and casuing the floor to be wet, slippery, and probably covered with bacteria. Facility overall was run down and outdated. Walls were thin allowing noise from hallway and other rooms to filter in all the time. Morning staff that prepared the meal was rude, difficult, and the meal was terrible.

Property was ok....construction going on in lobby. Hotel looked a little run down and ragged. Stayed in a king standard room. Definitely not worth the price I paid. Over all the stay was less than average.

There was mold under the bed, a dead bug stuck in the ceiling, burn holes in the bed sheet, no towels, and the water from the faucet was a trickle.

I never leave reviews but this place needs a warming label. The front desk workers were really nice and friendly. When I got to me room it was not very clean. Lots of dirt in the corners. The bed spread had several holes in it. The sheets were clean but the bed was terrible. Then when I took a shower in the morning the hot and cold were labeled wrong. While I was brushing my teeth in a sink with no water pressure a roach was crawling on the wall above my head. I could not get out of there fast enough.

It was the dirtiest and most run down hotel I have been to ever! the floors were sticky and I wore socks the whole time and they were black on the bottom! the towels were worn and had black dirty looking stains on them. The free breakfast was sparse and not appealing.

The rooms are very musty smelling, used bars of soap in the showers. Large amounts of hair on the beds. One bed only had a sheet on it and no blanket. The staff there are kind especially the evening girl that checked us in. It seems it’s a hotel where some are fully living at the ones that do stay there are kind and don’t seem to bother anyone. The building is very outdated and needs some work and definitely a good deep clean.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. It smells really bad, the front desk agent and other employees were unprofessional. Upon entering the room there was urine in the toilet, hair in and around the tub, the walls were filthy, the lamp shades were extremely stained and broken. The refrigerator was dirty as well as the microwave. There was open used soap at the sink. The floor had a large red stain and the sofa was completely stained and filthy. The bed and pillow cases were dirty and dingy. That place needs up be demolished. Horrible horrible smell. Checked in and out within 30 minutes. DO NOT STAY HERE. There was absolutely no concern from staff as to why we were checking out. I forgot to mention, they charge $100 cash deposit!!!!

I would not recommend this hotel. The room seemed to not have been cleaned between the person before me and when I got there- surfaces were not wiped down, the floor was gross, and it smelled like smoke.

Filthy. Went to my room; used the bathroom. Saw a few ants on the floor and a long hair in the sink. Thought Hmmm! Went around the bed closest to the window and saw a clump of ants surrounding something!! Amts swarming all over that side of the bed. The floor hadn't been swept recently. I called the front desk and told them what I had found. They had me go to the front desk and said they would assign another room. I told them I was totally dissatisfied and did not want to stay the night. I was told it would be "about 7 days before I would see the refund on my credit card. I would never stay there! Our room didn’t even look like it had been cleaned. Mold and urine/feces splatter in the bathroom, as well as trash on the floor. Smudges and sticky areas throughout the entire room. Pictures were taken and a formal complaint will be filed.

The room and hallways smelled like smoke the bathroom shower had someone else hair in it the bed was not comfortable and smelled like smoke me and my girl friend was their for 1 day and all of our clothes smelled like smoke not a very good hotel

There was plenty of room for everyone. 2 bathrooms definitely made it easier for everyone to shower and bathe. Beds were comfy, ome of our tvs didnt work but we had at least one for the kids. Overall was convient and nice for the price.

The building smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The checkin staff were not friendly. The water had no pressure, the faucet dripped at best, the toilet barely flushed, didn't even bother with the shower. The wifi was terrible, it dropped out constantly and was too slow to even function when it did connect.

This hotel has the feel of being run down. While the room was large, I paid for a refrigerator and microwave but no plates, cutlery or cups were provided; not even a microwave safe cup. There were two damaged items, the control knob for the shower that had sharp edges and the shower curtain rail was loose, looking very insecure.

Shower head holder was broken so you have to hold it with one hand the entire time. Black mold in the shower. Whole building smelled like smoke.

Needs maintenance; faucet was not attached securely, little water pressure, bed was very comfortable.

There was a missing shower curtain in the bathroom. The bed was old and made noises. One morning stop in breakfast before 9 (stop 8:45) but there was a staff closing the breakfast. My room key kept on not working everyday and had to go to the lobby to get it fix. And there was a man one day in the hallway on the 3rd room and follow me to my room and kept saying hello and excuse me and I felt very uncomfortable and not safe.

Tried out three different rooms on the 1st floor and none of the windows would latch. Seems extremely unsafe! Sleep with one eye open. I will never stay here again!!!

Hotel is close to what I believe was a 6 lane highway - VERY NOISY - all night. We were on the 4th floor which might have made us more vulnerable to the noise, but we left early (from 2 day stay) to find something more quiet.

By far one of the worst experiences I've had checking into a hotel. Arrived at hotel and received key to room on 2nd floor. Went up to room and key didn't work. Went back to lobby and receptionist fixed the key. Back up to 2nd floor, opened the room and it was clearly occupied. Back to lobby again and after seemed like forever finally got a key to new room (room numbers had been transposed so instead of 23 the room was supposed to be 32). Went to 3rd floor with new keys/new room, opened door and a guy was standing there as it was his room. Back to lobby again. Mind you it was busy and only one person working so after nearly an hour, I was finally able to get a room that no one was occupying. No discounts or anything offered to me or other guests for the inconvenience.

The beds were horrible. The front desk staff was rude and lazy. We checked in at midnight the lady at the desk said we needed 100.00 cash for a fee for booking with a 3rd party. For 1 who carries cash nowadays. 2 the way she said it oh yeah you can use the ATM around the corner. Then the next day checking out stood at the desk 30 minutes with multiple other families to check out. Asked multiple people where the front desk person was. Nobody seemed to know. Then when she finally did show up, she told us the girl before she should’ve never charged us the hundred dollars cash. I think people there need customer service training and everybody needs to know what the heck is going on.

Women at the front desk are the saving factor and the only reason for my 2-stars. I came in about 11pm, they were understanding and made check in easy. When booking this reservation, reviews were set to most relevant, not most recent. Thats where I MESSED UP! Reviews were.... unfortunately misleading. DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY. Dead bugs. Used, stiff washrag hung in the shower. A ton of hair and clearly hasnt been cleaned, swept, mopped, or maintained in a long time. Random man came banging on my door about 12 am. There is a $100 cash deposit.

When checking in we were informed that there would be a $100 security deposit which was no big deal, all hotels require that, however it is their policy that it had to be paid in CASH. We don’t typically carry that much cash, as we use our credit card for almost everything. If you don’t have that much cash it’s not a problem for them as they have an ATM right there for you to use along with all the fees that you get charged when using an ATM not associated with your bank. You get the cash back after you go to the lobby and request a checkout at which time they send someone to the room to make sure there are no damages. You also have to sign a paper upon check in that you acknowledge the deposit will be forfeited if you violate any of their long list of rules. The whole process makes you feel like a criminal on parole.

Nothing nice to say except for the clerk who checked us in. The facility needs maintenance. Bed linens had holes and were stained. One bar of soap. No extra pillows. There is a $100.00 cash fee at time of checkin. If our room was not damaged and nothing stolen, we would get the cash back, which we did. I wish we would have been forewarned.

The lady's at the desk are always super nice

Check in was easy & friendly, professional staff whenever I spoke to them however, when I was sitting in the lobby waiting for my ride to pick me up (10/15/23) one of the cleaning staff in talking to the front desk employee said the “F” word 3 -4 times. I thought that very unprofessional & did not appreciate hearing it. Due to that, I check out a day early. Also, My room (#105) was clean but could smell cigarette smoke every time I went into the bathroom.

They fail to disclose on the website that they require a $100 cash only deposit (refundable)

I booked online. When I got to the hotel I found out I had to put $100 cash deposit down in case I stole something. I did not have $100 in cash so I went to the ATM in their lobby and was charged a fee of $3.99 to get money to pay the fee. I could not check out till 7 the next morning because I would not receive my deposit till after 7. We went down at 7:15am to check out and no one was at the front desk. Forty five minutes later someone showed up at the desk. Took her another 20 minutes to go and check my room to make sure I didn't steal anything then she returned my deposit. Overall it was a insulting experience. Will not return to this Days Inn, and probably never again with the name Days Inn on the hotel.

This hotel is ok. It's in a sketchy area, or at least it feels that way. That is not the staff's fault; they were absolutely wonderful. They worked with us, were friendly, helped us with whatever we needed, and were understanding of our concerns and needs. The rooms were just ok as well, not great, but not nasty. It was really the staff that made our stay memorable.

Really friendly staff and conveniently close to Arrowhead stadium.

Had a great stay over the weekend of the AFC Championship game. The Hotel is away from the hustle and bustle, but close to many things. Had a very enjoyable weekend. Thank you!

The actual room we were in was fine - comfy beds, clean enough. The lobby area always smelled like smoke. And the breakfast was a joke - no protein. Nothing but sugary processed junk food.

The only thing to like about this property was the location. We were going to the football game at Arrowhead stadium and the location was convenient. Otherwise the place was absolutely filthy. There were a lot of activities going on in Kansas City this weekend but we chose to move all the way out to Leavenworth Kansas for our 2nd night. We only stayed the one night because we couldn't find another vacancy, so we bit the bullet for the one night. When we walked into the breakfast area the next morning it felt like we were walking on a floor where coke had been spilled and not cleaned up . We couldn't even think of eating anything. We use Expedia all the time and must say we are extremely disappointed that this hotel is on the list. I had never stayed at a Days Inn before and never will again. I have to question now how much I will trust Expedia going forward. This hotel needs to be removed from the data base. Oh, the staff were friendly as the one positive. They even admitted the hotel was dirty and they were having trouble hiring a good cleaning staff. Very disappointing.

It needs to be totally redone, bottom of bed destroyed, smoke alarm falling off wall, ceiling in room falling down, tv did not work, halls had marijuna smell, carpet was filthy, walls damaged everywhere, tile off wall in one spot & more, breakfast terrible, no tea, no eggs, no yogarts, no fruit.

Okay place to stay. Property is an older place. Didnt care for the breakfast at all..

They did have a hot breakfast but the coffee or juice machine didn’t work. When I went to check in I was 30 minutes early but they claimed not to have any rooms clean and when 3 came there was several of us and magically all the rooms were clean. The manager lady was outside with the housekeeping smoking weed and when it came time to check out several of us had to hunt them down.

Rude staff. Hard beds. Gross breakfast.

The property is run down and needs maintenance. They only gave us one washcloth and the towels were rough and scratchy. The breakfast was cereal and oatmeal- and they ran out of coffee by 830!
