They put energy into making the public areas look beautiful, given the impression that it’s a more upscale luxurious hotel. But there’s nothing special about the rooms.There is no hot tub despite saying areas on Expedia. Apparently it’s been that way for a long time. The breakfast is overpriced ($11 at booking or $16 onsite) and no better than the typical free breakfast at any $100 night hotel

The elevator broke Saturday night the night desk woman light skinned dark dark hair was extremely rude about where the other elevator was and the elevator i finally found was disgusting it has some sort of white sause was very very gross

I love the convenience of my room being across from the ice and vending. And the friendliness of the front desk personnel when I check in. My only dislike was the pool wasn’t warm enough. I thought there was a hot tub in the hotel 😞

This is a hotel that has obviously been there a while, but has been well-maintained and cared for. The staff were friendly, helpful, and prompt. We were the only ones scheduled for an airport shuttle that day, apparently, but the driver was on-time and courteous at 4am.

This hotel is very dated and not as described on the Hotels.com app. When we first walked in, they said they had two pools that we could enjoy, but the outdoor pool was empty. Hotels.com said it had a hot tub when we got there it was filled in with plants, but still had a sign on the wall, talking about the whirlpool. Our room was clean but very dated. The bathroom faucets hardly turned, and there were stains all over the floor. Breakfast was very good which they did give us for free since we couldn’t use the pool or the hot tub as advertised.

Friendly Staff! Clean rooms , hiccup with breakfast ticket but everything was successful. Pool could’ve been a little cleaner , I’d replace the real dying flowers with fakes will definitely upgrade the pool room 😊😊

I specifically booked here because its part of the Hilton Brand. The amenities I booked were not even present or unhealthy to use. This hotel has NO HOT TUB and the pool was disgusting along with all of the bed bugs in our bed. My family was covered in bites, my husband has veen on antihisthamines since because if his reaction to the bites. I have plenty of pictures and video of our accomodations to verify all of it. Our rooms were not clean and garbage left behind, the bathrooms were not what I would expect in any Hilton. Our trip was destroyed because of this. What I booked was NOT what we got.

The indoor AND outdoor pools were both disgusting. People were jumping the gate at the outdoor pool and smoking marijuana. The indoor pool was NOT heated as advertised and there was no flow/circulation of the water. You could see the debris just floating on top of the water. I chose this hotel specifically for the indoor/outsoor pool options. Never again!!

The employees were very friendly and couldn't have been more accomodating. However, when checking out they asked for payment for the room - I have now double payed and am still waiting for a refund. The hotel room itself was...disgusting. It was dirty with hair and dirt on the floor in the bathroom. The ceiling plaster in the shower was falling down. The entry light didn't work so would walk into the room in the dark. Housekeeping came by only once during the 4 days there. Many dogs/pets were there during my stay and my room must of had animals previously because allergies kicked in. Overall, this is not the kind of hotel I have come to expect from Hilton - do better!

Rugs has several stains upon entering the unit. Bathroom had roaches and wasnt very clean. Staff was somewhat friendly but everyone had conversations with other employees when entering the hotel. They breifly stopped to say hi then proceeded with their conversation. Not really professional

Horribly managed, hotel very worn out and neglected, hair products empty could not wash hair or condition. Bathroom was filthy Sink was dry not clean, faucet in sink had obvious toothpaste spit on top, if someone had cleaned they couldn't miss this, counter top showed soap skum run off, toilet and tub had not been cleaned either, chair had very old dirty stains and carpet extremely dirty stained with spills and torn at door entrance, had to keep socks on at all times. Night desk clerk was very nice that was all. As much as this hotel was in despair I don't believe they will do anything about it whoever's managing it at this time ! What happened to this once beautiful Grand exclusive hotel?

Arrived to dirty bedding, 2 long hairs in the bed and a few small dots of debris. Told the front staff and received clean sheets. Shampoo on wall almost out, conditioner completely out and moisturizer hanging off the wall exposing the screws. I had the do not disturb on my door due to late nights, still had housekeeping knocking at 8:30. Staff friendly and check in cookie was good

I had a great stay this past weekend! Only one thing I did not care for was hearing the door close from my room on the 2nd floor, a door silencer should be installed so no one can hear the door slam. Other then that would I definitely book again my next visit to Augusta !

Had 2 consecutive reservations. Was told when I checked in it would be no problem, I would stay in the same room and just get the key updated. The front desk people were nice, but couldn’t figure out how to do it. They both called their supervisor to correct the missing room “in the system,” and the supervisor never responded. I finally had to pack up everything and change rooms because they simply couldn’t get a key for my first room. I wasted so much time with them trying to find a key. There are exactly 2 small lamps in the rooms, so everything is dark. Can’t open the curtains because my window looked out into the hallway where other customers passed by, not outside. No refrigerator or microwave in the room. The bed was comfortable, but not worth the money I spent for 3 nights.

The hotel was nice, but definitely needs updating. The nobs on the heater were broken and taped over top. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink. Almost all hotels have fridges and microwaves in the now, but not this one. We couldn't cool or heat our leftovers. The staff was great. I would still stay there again.

Very nice hotel. Lobby is beautiful. Rooms - so, so. No mini refrigerator - almost standard these days. They had updated to include charging ports for newer I-phones. Coffee maker - old. Creamer was spoiled.

My stay was three nights and had a room on the 1st floor. I didn’t like the fact that my window looked out into a hallway, so my curtains were closed all the time. I felt like I was in a closet. Not the best for a claustrophobic person.

Overall I nice hotel. Was unpleasantly woken up at 8:30 am by housekeeping asking what time we were checking out even though we had a “do not disturb” on the door and had notified the front desk we were checking out at 11 (normal checkout time).

The hotel was amazing, The staff on the other have us a whole different issue. I booked on line & the hotel representative was rude & demanded I pay him and a higher price than I even paid on line . He literally told me I had to show him a copy of my statement where I was charged for the room. He also asked for proof that I had paid for breakfast the next morning. #RUDE

It was definitely the nicest DoubleTree I’ve ever stayed at! Staff were amazingly helpful, even after my keys didn’t originally open my room haha. The only thing I’d say is I def wished the TVs had like Netflix or something on them because cable really is becoming a thing of the past. But regardless, my stay was exactly what I needed before I sat for an 8 hour exam at the prometric center next door. Thank you!

Room was OK. Check in indicated, with a menu, that dinner could be procured at the hotel. After a couple of drinks, we went down to find three drunks and no service or food service. Glad we had brought our own snacks! To sum it up, three desk services were crap, and that’s a poor reflection on Double Tree. On our return we stayed in an Aloft in Greenville SC and were quite happy. Get your act together in Augusta.

Great service and friendly staff. Check-in was easy and my kids loved getting multiple warm cookies. Breakfast buffet is good, even if a tad pricey, but the staff was super friendly. Only negative was no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms. Every place I've ever stayed has had that but not here. It wasn't a deal breaker, but it would've been nice to have.

The breakfast buffet was very good, it's not free and actually cost $16. It also came with a cup of coffee from the Starbucks kiosk there, I had a cappuccino. I think it was well worth the price and the time it saved.

Food in restaurant is awful. I went to breakfast at 9am and it had to be the same food that was put out at 6am! Everything was cold, hard and dried out. I told the manager and she said “sorry”, shrugged her shoulders and walked away! If costs $16 for that food we couldn’t eat

Room needs new carpet or at least cleaned. Furniture is getting beat up looking. Staff was amazing!! Very warm and friendly, very helpful. Appreciated the late pick up at the airport by the shuttle. Breakfast is good, lots of variety on the buffet, beautiful seating area alongside a gorgeous lobby/atrium.
