Travel Inn

Check in was easy as was checkout. Comfortable beds, big bathroom, easy parking. Had frig and microwave as promised, lots of cable channels and good wifi. No mugs for heating beverages. Had trouble getting tv to come on, but they quickly came to fix the issue. Looks like they are in the midst of renovations esp in the back area of property. Good stsy for the price.

Easy access to highways, food and shopping. The building my room was needs attention. Door/door jambs need beefing up for security. Room had items from previous guests in it. Remote control filthy.

The staff was friendly. Check in was a breeze. The room was very clean and had comfortable beds. The area behind the property was a little junky. It just needs cleaned up. But the rooms were fine. I just think peoples business properties should be tidy.

First off, it was hard to communicate with he staff at check in,. Both due to language barrier and there was a plexiglass wall at the counter with a 4inx4in area to talk through. we got to the room in a back building, with faded door numbers, so it was hard to tell it was actually a room. Key card took many attempts to get to work. Walked in, and the room was up 5 or 6 stairs - the floor of the landing was soft and tiles crumbling. The room was straight out of the 80s. Again, soft spots in the floor. Bathroom was gross, shower had stained mats and shower curtain. Mini fridge was dirty and leaking. random outlets and light switch's that made no sense and took time to figure out what switch controlled which light. Adjoining room door luckily had a chain lock as the deadbolt was about pulled through the wall. Ice machine was not working. had to replace key 2nd day due to not working. WiFi non existent. Beds were very hard. Not at all a positive experience at this place. If there were other places available we would have left in a heartbeat.

Room was clean, bathroom was sufficient, only 1 wash cloth and was not replenished in the two days I was there. Heat worked well, when needed. The smoke alarm was disabled or not there, just the fixture. Parking was excellent and easy to access. I missed the coffee and pastries and such, but they were only owners for 3 months they said. The bed was very firm and very comfortable, and the sheets were clean and well made.

I've stayed here several times. The front building is clean and reasonable for the cost. The rear building....not so much. The exterior stairs are loose and falling apart. My room was ICE COLD and took almost 5hrs to warm. Smelled HORRIBLY of cigarettes and spray air freshener.The room was neat and clean but very loud, not good for trying to sleep.

The hotel was an older motel, room was clean, front clerks were very pleasant, area was quiet, water pressure in shower was stronger than an more expensive hotel stayed at during the trip, had ice machine but no bucket in room, cost for room reasonable Recommend this hotel for families on a budget

There was a phone in the room without any number for the office. There were multiple blood stains on the sheets! The chair in the room had multiple stains on them. The ice machine was located in a shed on the property, which we were not told about until we asked. No one cleaned out room or gave us fresh towels when we were there for two nights. The TV had one channel to watch, local news, or Spectrum on demand to watch reruns and movies from 2012. The room keys were from when it was the Knights Inn and had permanent black marker scribbled all over them.

The room was dated. There was pealing paint and a few holes. The exterior needed some updating and painting.

Friendly staff, room was clean and orderly. It looks like they are remodeling most of the rooms.

planned to stay two nights but only stayed one because it was filthy dirty

Water pressure issues. Water tempeature issues. Bed sheets and comforter were dirty. Towels were dirty and stained. Made me wonder if the sheets and towels were actually changed. At one point I got nervous about the potential of bed bugs due to black.dot staining across the bed comforter. Cockroaches in the roomB

Not good. I do not recommend this place. It was dirty, smelled musty, there was mold in the bathroom.

Hair on the toilet,hair on bathroom floor. Tv didnt work had to mess with to come on. Ac wasnt up standards

Super old and never updated with women’s hair found in a “clean” bedding. Not complaining but wouldn’t stay there again.

I swear I am not picky and never complain-says everyone... But this was the worst ever. Door practically needed to be pried open, room smelled like dirty Mike and the boys smoked a couple bowls before doing "their thing". I was just looking for a place to crash while I hung out at Seneca Lake, so my standards were already on the floor. Aside from the smell of weed and desperation, I noticed the trash can was full. No I did not dare investigate. Yikes. Flicked on the lights in the bathroom to see two(at least) clearly wet towels bunched against the tub with a couple of smaller towels. Gross, right? Oh just you wait! On the sink we had some used soap, toothpaste and a toothbrush, but wait, the cherry on top was the fake fingernail next to the sink. I grabbed my stuff, locked the room, dropped my key at the desk and made a reservation in Watkins Glen before debating whether I needed a precautionary shot of penicillin from the local hospital. It wasn't expensive but it was money well spent for a story I will tell for years. And yes, I took pictures.

The sinks water pressure was shot. It basically was a trickle.

I was the only one there. My room looked like it hadn’t been renovated since the 70’s, and the Heater/A/C unit made a rattling noise and omitted a smoky smell when left in “heat” mode. I left early. Damn the money.

Outdated and uncomfortable. The antique air conditioner didn't work. Toilet was mechanically hard to flush. The shower only kind of worked. Very glad we were only stopping for the night.

Somewhat noisy due to being so close to the main road I actually passed up the entrance the first time and had to reroute. Glad I checked my windows because two of them were unlocked which makes me nervous but all in all my stay was not bad at all. TV service really sucked the details didn't match up with what the channels were and there was really nothing to watch except old school cartoons I was hoping to watch a horror movie and there was nothing and it's October I was really disappointed with that but anyway.

Heat wasnt working..refrigerator froze everything.

This is an older motel showing its age. TV/cable was not working. Bathtub should be replaced. This a motel generally used for those that are homeless. Cigarettes are smoked outside the rooms, but the odor still comes in the windows very strong. I would not call it unsafe but bears being vigilant of your surroundings. Refrigerator was not in good shape and smelled bad. Linens could be updated or cleaned better. One positive is the bed was comfortable.

I stayed here a few times and was accommodated excellently every stay. I would recommend to anyone who travels to that area.

Barbara at the front desk denied my paid reservation when I told her I had my service animal with me. I had a letter from my doctor and a full medical write up with me. She claimed that only large therapy dogs qualified as service animals. I called Expedia for a refund. They said the woman didn’t know what she was talking about. I plan on making a formal complaint with the state of New York, as my rights were violated. Their website clearly stated that service animals were allowed.

Office was unstaffed when we arrived. After waiting a bit and talking to other visitors, everyone had a story of a long wait. The rooms are in rough shape. It’s ok if you just need to crash after a long day but you will not want to spend awake time here.

The owner refused me service because she continued to confuse me with another guest who didn't treat the room well. And then she gave me a damaged room and told me to pay a very high deposit so that should I leave the room I would have to pay for the damages other guests caused. So smartly, before I fully entered the hotel room I took pictures and show them to the hotel manager ahead of time before she could charge me and take my deposit. She clearly seemed embarrassed that the gig was up and she was forced to give my complete deposit back. Now upon returning to this same hotel, I paid for a reservation after realizing there were four rooms available; however, after paying for the full reservation she refused me service and took the money and refused to return it in a refund. So therefore I lost an entire room stay and my money after booking it through hotels.com. I requested a complete refund and wanted to book a different hotel with better customer service. However since she did not release the funds back to hotels.com, hotels.com only gave me some mythical virtual points which I could not use for an alternate hotel after trying 20 times!!! Now I'm asking for a complete refund for it to go back into my bank account because the whole ordeal has turned into one big scam and it's giving hotel.com a very bad name. I would recommend that this hotel be taken off any consideration for any virtual bookings due to the vindictive and wicked customer service from management.

Spent the weekend at Watkins Glen International and needed a place to stay. Hotel was convenient and was a clean place to last or heads for the night. Not too much for available close by, but overall a good place for us to stay while we were racing.

The property was hard to find back in the trees but quiet and beautiful lawn area. The manager was quite friendly and they offered a great value for the price. There was a fridge, microwave and very good TV service with Spectrum.

Nice clean and comfy room, right off the highway and close to all finger lakes. Great shower, fridge and microwave Only problem was the AC unit which was very finicky but I’m sure if we arrived at a time when we felt comfortable asking for help with it, the staff would have helped because they were kind.
