Blue Ridge Cozy Cabin King Bed Hot Tub & Dog Friendly

Just what we needed. We would love to rent again next year around the same time! Our first best friend getaway and we want to make it back every year if we can. Loved the location, how cozy it was and the amenities (hot tub, outdoor fire place and outside lounging), and the view.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. We would have loved the roku upstairs, but considering we didn't know that was in the home at all we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was more than we anticipated and the community was quiet and charming.

We had a great time at this cabin! It was exactly as advertised, and was perfect for a quick getaway for just my husband and me. The cabin was clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. We didn’t cook but easily could have since the kitchen had plenty of cookware and utensils. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful, and we enjoyed sitting outside to enjoy the fresh air. It was quiet and private, and we really enjoyed exploring Blue Ridge throughout our stay. I will warn future guests that the final road leading up to the cabin is narrow, gravel, and a bit washed out. We were glad we had driven our SUV and not our smaller sedan. But otherwise our trip was lovely, the cabin was great, and I would definitely consider a trip back sometime!

I had a good experience at this cabin seeing as it was my first time ever renting a cabin and being out in the dark woods with nature is an acquired taste (one that I must further develop). The cabin itself was very nice with plenty of firewood but be sure to bring your own ax in order to chop the wood for fire. The inside of the cabin was very clean with all working amenities and it was fully stocked with cooking and cleaning materials. The hot tub and gas grill worked wonderfully which are several of the main reasons I booked this cabin. The issues that one should look out for are the fact that the cabin is up in the hills of Blue Ridge meaning that you need to have the proper vehicle to drive up the mountains which I didn’t in my opinion. Also the fire pit outside can’t be used, which I wanted to but couldn’t because it has a huge hole in the bottom of it covered up by a flowerpot and the fire would have just fallen down to the ground underneath the cabin and possibly created a fire. I reported this to the rental company and they assured me that they would report it to the owner of the cabin. All in all I really enjoyed this cabin and it was a wonderful first time experience and I look forward to doing it again in the future.

Amazing view! The cabin was great and hot tub was a very nice bonus!! The only issue we had was the structural beams were cracked and per my husband who is a certified in building inspections it was not very structural sound. The customer service was very quick to respond when needed. The cabin is in a great location!!

It was a beautiful cabin, very welcoming. After a long day of hiking ,the hot tub was very nice. Great place to stay. I highly recommend it .

Fully furnished kitchen and deck made for a great weekend with the family. The hot tub was a key selling point for us. Only real problems we had were the odd scratching sounds in the roof at night. Spooked my wife a couple times. It was an overall delightful weekend.

And the nicest box of s’more ingredients. We felt welcome. Porch faces east for which is lovely for coffee sunrises but also gets ongoing highway noise. Which is the only reason I didn’t give top rating. Gravel roads were doable without a 4WD but the last spur on the uphill took some effort in our little CRV.

I so wanted to give it a 5 star rating across the board, but the excessive amounts of dog hair prevents me from doing so. Everything was perfect except that the people that stayed before us had dogs and their hair was left everywhere. The bed, carpet, and even on the kitchen dining chairs. So I'm wondering if the cabin received a thorough cleaning after the last customers left. Other than that, the area is beautiful and serenely quiet. The view is very picturesque and you might get a glimpse of some wildlife. The cabin had everything we needed, except for a washer/dryer, but that's no big deal. You definitely need a truck or four wheel drive vehicle, as the road going to the cabin is steep, winding, rocky and narrow. We watched our favorite scary movies that were in the woods and cabin themed, lol. Overall, our trip was very pleasant and we're already planning for another cabin trip. This time we'll rent one that does not allow pets. We definitely will rent with Vacasa again!

We enjoyed complimentary roasted marshmallows in the indoor fireplace. My morning coffee on the balcony, watching the fog lift from the mountains, was spectacular! We can’t wait to return. My husband and I stayed in this cabin for the weekend but while it was a decent stay, there were a few flaws. The drive up was very bad even in my large SUV. The roads aren’t paved and there are some sharp turns. We even got stuck twice. Next the cabin is decent but there are spider webs everywhere. It seem like no one had been there in a while and they were EVERYWHERE. The cabin was nice but it does need blinds in the room/kitchen area and new curtains in the dining area. There is mold at the bottom of the kitchen curtains. Lastly, if you are a light sleeper be aware. It’s not Vacasa fault but the roof is metal, and stuff from the trees fall all night and they constantly hit the roof very hard. Also, there was dog hair all over the couch so we didn’t sit on it. That needs a deep clean asap. Other than that, pros is there are tons of movies if you want to stay in and not go down the road and it’s not far from downtown Blue Ridge. Hot tub was also in a good condition. We did enjoy the stay but there were a few flaws.

This was my second stay at the Cozy Cabin and it was as wonderful as the first. The cabin is beautiful, immaculately clean, and was well stocked for our family vacation. The views from the back porch are divine and even our dog was able to enjoy them from the enclosed wrap around porch. We had an amazing family vacation fishing, swimming, hiking, and in nature. We hope to be back soon.

Cleanliness was phenomenal! The kitchen had everything I was looking for, and Walmart was a quick stop away for ingredients. The views were awesome and the fire pit area was so well kept too. The road is a bit tricky and steep for inexperienced drivers but we got used to it the second time through! Very clean cabin we enjoyed it and will be back soon!

Located between Blue Ridge and Elijah, easy on and off property to Hwy 76, beautiful mountain scenery from porch, perfect for our small extended family. Benton MaKay Trail winds through the neighborhood, with vistas of Granny Lake and a small waterfall. The cabin was cozy and super clean, comfortable beds and a pack away playpen for the baby to sleep in. Apple houses galore for all of your Apple needs and fall family activities. We will return!

Nice views. Bed and pillows are not very comfortable as well as the couch.

Fantastic location and an amazing view!

I hate leaving this low of a rating because we loved the property, but that sofa/bed truly was horrible. The 2 kids were supposed to sleep in the loft (as a treat for them) but the adults could not sleep on that sofa bed. If our group had been all adults, I would have been furious and immediately complaining and expecting to be switched to a different property. The kids were miserable and said sleeping on it was the worst part of the trip (and these are kids used to camping). It also had a slight smell of dog urine.

Great location, great place but the sofa in general was bad and using it as a bed was unacceptable. If you plan to use the firepit, take your own matches or a lighter.

Very quite cabin nessled up on the mountaintop. Plenty of wonderful amenities to keep you busy. The cabin was clean and well maintained. The pull out couch could use a new mattress. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay.

Place is nice, well equipped and clean. Very cozy for romantic getaway. Only down side was while there it rained a lot and metal roof was loud, and the dropping acorns woke us up a few times. Would not want to drive a low car up last 1/2 mile of bumpy gravel road though. Left a day early with concern of road wash due to storm Hellen hitting area. Would stay there again.

We enjoyed our visit so much. This cabin is beautifully furnished and very clean. Includes lots of extras such as body wash, shampoo, conditioner, coffee creamer, Qtips,etc. so you don’t have to rush out to the dollar store if you’re lacking. There is a steep unpaved road for the last half mile leading to the cabin, so keep that in mind. Mimi was wonderful to work with.

The cabin was clean and organized. In addition, it was stocked with amenities needed for the stay such as dish soap, sponge, toiletries and extra towels. The bed was comfortable to sleep in. We got to enjoy the cool nights outside with the firepit. The location was perfect only about 10mins from downtown Blue Ridge and local stores. Also, close enough to visit nearby towns in Tennesse and North Carolina. The road up to the cabin is not the best since part of journey up to the cabin is not paved so best to have a rental truck or SUV when visiting the area. But overall, the cabin was cozy and welcoming and definitely would come back for another stay.
