The hot water took forever to get hot and they wanted to put us on 2nd floor but they don't have an elevator so you can't use the luggage cart

I'm not fond of climbing stairs with a heavy suitcase

The room was clean and comfortable for the price. The con is no elevator in hotel.

The carpets at the hallway and staircase are dirty and there is no ramp to carry luggage upstairs because they don't have an elevator

No issues with staff or checking in. Place doesn't have an elevator and the halls smell so bad, smell of smoke is so strong.

The only negative thing is that there is no elevator. I do not mind steps, but these war very steep-bad news for older people. Other than that the place was fine.

Very small parking area, bath towels had stains on them, even found a small roach on one of the hand towels after taking a quick shower. The hallways smelled like smoke, breakfast was decent, but small setting area to eat. If you’re tall, it’s not the place for you, as the ceiling is only about 6 1/2 feet tall. Very out dated.

The pics the hotel has online are very deceptive. A lot of photo editing was done. It is very drab, smelly, and is not kept clean. The second floor of the hotel can only be accessed via a flight of steep stairs. There is no elevator. The room was very dark due to poor lighting and very dark paint on the walls. The ac unit in the room worked well but really stunk the room up. I assumed the filters/unit needed cleaning and were the cause of the musty, old room smell. The bed was comfortable but I was a bit icked out by the makeup that was left on one of the pillows by a previous traveler. It made me question if they even changed the sheets after checkout. My sheets were clean but the dirty pillow made me uneasy and glad I had brought my own pillow. The dust ruffle hanging under the bed had “stains” on it. I did not want to know what it was, but my imagination filled in the blanks. There is not a coffee maker in the room. The microwave that was in the room looked like it belonged in the break room at work. It was clean enough but food was caked in the cracks and wheels under the turntable. At one point the hallway and lobby wreaked of marijuana. I know people are going to do what they do in their room but the hotel should have been proactive on removing the smell and finding the source. The free breakfast is a hard pass. Very limited and mostly carb heavy choices. Overall the room “worked” but I was very uncomfortable wondering about the cleanliness of things during my stay.

No elevators

Roaches in the room and my room wasn’t cleaned properly the carpet in hallway dirty need to be cleaned they need to update the rooms and painting sheets had burns in it

The stay was excellent. No hassle for check in. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was convenient and offered a variety of options. Hotel was quiet and clean.

The room was fine, it’s the hallway where there’s such a strong odor of cigarette smoke where you can’t help my gag when leaving your room.

The first room I was placed had bedbugs that I didn't see until after my shower. I woke up with bites on me. The second room was a little neater but the bathroom smelled like a dead sewer. I could not wait to get a little shut eye and head home. The worse hotel experience i ever had visiting Texas.

Filthy, stinky miserable stay. The sheets were not washed the comforter had dark stains on them they smelled of mildew and musty and smoke smell coming through air conditioning. I was so disappointed.

Service was friendly but the room smelled horrible and the hotel had a weird stench to it. There was also a roach in our room. Hotel pictures do not depict that property at all.

Mildew smell srong in my room

The a/c was not working very well, and the tub was clogged.

The hotel was right in the area we were going to be visiting. It was an older building but the bed and pillows were heaven!

Cozy little place. Only gripe I'd have is the shower pressure leaves a lot to be desired.

Everything was clean wheb We arrived. We ended up sleeping in different beds because the ac did not cool the room off till after 4 this morning. It was ridiculous both of us sitting there trying to find something on tv to watch while waiting for the ac to cool the room

Overall the stay was okay. It looked like the room got major improvements in the bathroom with the marble shower walls and granite counters. But the rest of the room was a little dated. Quiet for the most part, due to the rest of the people staying there. Everything got quiet around eleven at night. Had a hole in the wall and rips on the furniture. Staff was friendly and very helpful, never ate the breakfast there but the area was pretty small. While we were out it seems the housekeeping took our used towels but didn't give us any new ones so I had to go to the front desk to get some. If you don't plan on spending a lot of time in the hotel while on a trip, this place will do great.

The air conditioning didn’t get cold and it felt stuffy. A little out dated but the room was clean. Front desk lady was nice and helpful.

Although the room was not dirty, it was very uncomfortable. The towels were tiny and we only got 2. No hands towels. Very small restroom with no vanity room. The air conditioner did not cool and was very loud. Service was not great neither. No greet coming into the lobby. Which I found odd because there was hardly any people at the hotel. We probably saw 3 other people on our stay. We had it booked for our next stay this year, but decided to cancel.

You can't go wrong for the price and the staff was very friendly and professional, as a day sleeper I was able to rest very well. Thanks to Tammy and the hotel staff..

The staff wasnt the most friendly. The hotel was old, so.it seemed, but it looked like they were trying to update it some. Wouldn't go back personally

Upon arrival the front lady had attitude. It smelled really bad. Our room was by the door on first floor. The stairs coming up had drops of blood. The carpet had an odd smell. Room was not vacuumed. I use to be a head housekeeper, I would never let my housekeeper’s leave a room dirty. The bathtub had hair. The paint coming off the tub. Floor dirty and not swept. The tables by the bed were dusty. I moved the chair and it was not vacuum. I wouldn’t recommend this property.

Great service, clean room, friendly atmosphere. Comfortable bed.

i like the staff

Bad experience! The only good parts: the woman who checked me in was kind and one housekeeping woman who gave my spouse an ice pack after I fell in the slippery tub. The man who handled my complaint asking for the bedding with holes to be changed, dirty floor needing to be vacuumed, and saying there weren\'t any ice packs on site was quick to blame the \'new housekeeper\' who was "left on her own" (his words) to be at fault for the condition of the room. Placing blame on another is not a professional response. We dealt with the mildew smell. I can NOT give this location a good review. (I have pictures and videos).

The location was good. The front desk clerk was not friendly at all. Made me pay cash because she said i couldn't use my debit card even though it is a credit card. Heater did not work in the room.

Great staff and very quiet and clean

I was in town for business and I was on my feet the entire day by the time I got to the hotel I was really hurt him I'd ask Tammy at the front desk if they had anything on the first floor and she was like they were quite busy but she would see what she could do I really feel like she went above and beyond and was able to get me the first floor room this is my second time staying with the establishment I'll definitely be booking there again

Expedia booked me for a smoking room I didn’t request, and the hotel tried there best to put me in another room. Overall everything was clean, the area was very close to Texas trust which I loved. Checking in was a breeze but I have to give 5 stars to the staff! Everyone was very pleasant and unfortunately I left a bag of important jewelry in my room, called the next day and the management had it! I was able to have someone pick it up for me and I’m so glad they were honest! Thank you very much for a pleasant experience!

The hotel was right in the area we were going to be visiting. It was an older building but the bed and pillows were heaven!

Convenient location to go to the stadium to watch the T20 Cricket inauguration and opening match between Canda and USA. (USA won)

The location was excellent 20 minute drive in any direction would take you to so many attractions. We will definitely be coming back!!!!

The property was in pretty good shape. The room has to much light though, it is also to noisy. It is a mile and a half from six flags.

The 2 rooms that we had booked both smelled terrible, like black mold and the chairs in the rooms were sticky and gross. My brother-in-law requested another room, as he could not stand the smell but was told they were full and nothing could be done. This could be a nicer place to stay but it really needs a thorough cleaning and upgrades. And you definitely need a vehicle to get around as it is not very convenient to any store, restaurants or activities.

Location was easily accessible to the highway. Rooms were large and clean. Staff was nice.

The hotel was quiet and clean. Close to dining and fuel stations. Quick access to I30.

On a good note NO BUGS, bed was comfy, felt safe & wasn’t to far from a lot of places. Everything else was not cool. Towels look dirty, floors(oh my goodness, DIRTY black feet), bathroom was small, please don’t call what you have breakfast, mini muffins, cereal & Tx shaped waffles.

Room was clean and as expected. We were allowed to check in early since our room was ready. Outside the property did look like it was getting some upgrades. Staff was friendly and breakfast was small but ok.

I've been jumping hotels for work for the last few months. All types of hotels. Long stays. This one has been the best so far and for a decent rate. As it states on their website and in their lobby that the free breakfast is small, for a quick breakfast. Cereal, bread, the basics. Sick of hearing ppl complain about that one. Nice hotel. I will be back.

Easy check in, ground floor room. Room was clean. Breakfast was lacking. No meat or eggs, only waffles, cereal, muffins. Only 6 oz coffee cups. The whole building and room had a musty smell. Older facility needed serious updating.

No coffee pot in room, door didn't shut properly, had to push on it. The fan in bathroom did not work. The orange juice was mixed with tea and tasted like it. Table we sat at was really wobbly. Overwise not a bad stay.

Super 8 tries to be "green" by not supplying enough towels, and all they're doing is saving a buck on laundry. Bed was super hard, and in a no smoking section someone across the hall was smoking pot. Coffee in room was ok, breakfast was standard fare.
