La Quinta by Wyndham Dallas Grand Prairie North

Stayed for two nights and enjoyed it. I didn’t get to use the pool and hot tub but they looked nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Affordable too. Bed was so so, La Quinta used to have the best beds but this one did not have the same kind as I’ve seen at LQ before. It was just ok. Overall I’d stay again.

The staff at this property were phenomenal. We also enjoyed the pool area, which had a hot tub and fire pit in addition to the pool. The breakfast was basic but sufficient, and rooms were clean and comfortable.

Stay was part of a longer trip. Had two days at the hotel. Used the fitness facility. Found the weight stack machine broken and 25lbs dumbbells missing of the 5lbs -50lbs set. Other than that found the hotel on par with others at this price point.

Parking is insufficient

Had a great stay, the only inconvenience I found was the EV charging was not registered therefore I was not able to charge while staying there.

Cons-Shower curtain would not stay put forcing water onto the floor. Cleaning lady persistently knocked even when we hollered we were in room. Limited parking.slow check in. Pros-smelled very clean and was pretty clean

Booked it specifically for the EV chargers. However, the EV chargers did not work. Very disappointing.

Pool and hot tub was very nice! Breakfast was amazing as well!

Clean rooms pool overly crowded

The check-in process was a little complicated because the system was down but they were very nice and accommodated me when I could not get into the hot tub area because the door was automatically locked

When we returned to the room after the concert around midnight or 1 am. We ate some food and went to go to sleep. When my daughter pulled back the blankets the comforter had what appeared to be lipstick on it and there was a VIP wrist band stuck to the sheets. This tells me the blankets were not changed from thePrevious guest. The very helpfull young lady at the counter brought new blankets up for one bed that i helped her change. But somehow i doubt either bed was changed. Not to mentio. There was mold growing on the the bathroom ceiling. And broken glass all over the only parking spot left.

I Was Not Aware Of The High Incidental Fees. 150.00 I Just Stayed One Night. Also The Toilet Was Dirty. The Room Had Odor. There Were Stains. Fridge And Microwave Filthy. The Shower Floor. Thought I Was Going To Cave In At Any Given Moment!

The hotel on your site appeared much cleaner than it was by far. The baseboards in bathroom had mold, room stunk and the bedding was not fresh looking. Bedskirt had stains, chair had stains. All over not worth near the amount we paid for this room. Would appreciate refund of some kind or discount.

The bathrooms were dirty I found hair in the shower I asked them to clean it. Then the next day I found a bug in the shower. Then I asked them to change my room only to find out the room they put me in after had hair in the shower also. I don’t think they clean there showers. There cracking on the floor. Water stains on the ceiling. The shower head was leaking. They gave me a 25 percent discount for one night which wasn’t great don’t stay here

Bathroom had a wet town smell and the shower curtains were stained. Floor felt grimy in the room.

The sheets and bed had stains on them and did not appear clean

Staff was nice. Probably a new person up at the front but they got things figured out for us and made it all work. The cleanliness... we got two beds only to sleep on one because the sheets had blood stains visibly red still on there and one of the pillows. We were only staying one night and did not have the time to make a big deal about switching rooms plus it was late when we found those stains.

I am certain that my room had bed bugs.

They had Roach's in my room I discovered it by putting my breakfast on TV stand & went to wash my hands when I returned to pray & eat my breakfast I saw the ROACH RUN from fr around my plate to back of TV I had my daughter scoot TV forward a little & more ROACHES WAS SEENwhen I called front desk all clerk said was it a BIG ROACH or LITTLE ROACH I was very SNGRY then she said do you want me to come spray behind your TV I said NO I just want to get out of here ASAP . I had to leave my bags outside when I arrived home and spray them! I would NEVER STAY THERE & WILL POST MY HORRIBLE STAY

Very clean

The property was close to the venue where the concert we were attending was located. We walked to and from the location with no issues. Rooms were clean and staff was kind. Only issue I had was the WiFi wasn’t secure. The moment I got on it, I got a message that someone was trying to hack my phone. I got off and stayed off the rest of the trip.

Excellent property however the ac unit and pillows are uncomfortable

Very noisy hotel. Doors closing. People talking and walking in hallways and toilets flushing loudly!!

This property was in a very good location. Not too far from stores and food restaurants. The only problem was with the ac in the room we stayed in. The thermostat would not let me turn down the temp. It was stuck on 74 and a woman who has hot flashes, this was not a good thing. My kids had a room next to ours and they stated their toilet was not working properly.

Overall, this hotel was a good value. Everything was clean and the breakfast buffet was one the better ones I've seen in a while. The bed was decently comfortable and I slept pretty well. A few maintenance issues I noticed; the tile floor in our bathroom has some cracked grout and 1-2 cracked tiles. My primary complaint was that there was no noise insulation. Our neighbors were very noisy at very late hours and it felt like they were in the room with us. This was frustrating because I had to get up early for a nearby sports event. Overall, I would stay with La Quinta again for the price and pet friendliness.

The A/C doesn't worke during the night. The room was very hot.

The rooms were clean enough, however the beds were very uncomfortable. They were rather hard and the pillows were awful. We had to purchase our own to get a good nights sleep.

Everything was good - bed, pillows, shower, staff. And gym was well equipped and breakfast decent. Not a 10 rating because room was on freeway side and a lot of traffic noise.

Near a highway so you can hear everything and the bed was real hard.

I have never stayed in a noisier hotel. All night long doors slamming, people in the hall, and even the a/c was noisy when coming on and off. Even with a “sleep sound machine” my family could not drown out the chaos. The pillows and mattress were uncomfortable and had stains. Terrible experience.

The young lady that checked us in was fabulous and remembered our phone conversation from months prior when I booked the room . That was very impressive. She was great , sorry I can’t remember her name .

Hidden fees and false advertisement. Do not stay here if you have pets because they will charge you $200 for two nights. When it STATES on their website, each dog is $25 a night. No where does it state there is a cleaning fee/deposit. (Which normally if there is, they refund if there is no damages to the room) Also was told I couldn’t leave my dog in the hotel in their kennel, while I was going out for dinner and a concert. Quote “your dog has to be with you at all times” WHICH was only stated AFTER I paid. And when I asked for a refund because I can’t bring my dog to a concert, the front clerk told me no, and we ended up calling BOTH her managers for them to do a “one time exception.” Which doesn’t make any sense, considering this is a La Quinta a “pet friendly” hotel and no where on their physical website or in their rules does it say I couldn’t keep my dog in her kennel while I was out. It only states “ We count on you to prevent your pet(s) from making excessive noise, being disruptive, or aggressive to other guests.” and to make arrangements with house keeping. On top of that, the rooms aren’t worth anything, especially when there’s mold in the bathroom, no vent circulation, rusty hardware, didn’t have any toilet paper when arrived in room. I stay with La Quinta regularly and I’ve NEVER EVER had a problem. I only stay with La Quinta because they are accommodating to me and my fur child. This location just skip it and go to a different one.

Check in lady was rude. Pool was cold and people in pool didn’t seem like guests. Bunch of non-guests hanging out in lobby - guessing friends of the check in lady. May not be in the safest of areas.

I have been checked out of the hotel for days but yet they still have held $300 in deposits of my money for up to 14 days. LaQuinta should not hold peoples monies after they have checked out

It advertises pet friendly but when you arrive they say you cannot leave your pet unattended in your room. That is not pet friendly. It is not possible to take your pet to meetings, events, etc.. I will never stay at La Quinta again.

The ladies that checked us in were VERY nice and professional. The guy that checked us out was just as nice and professional. 10/10 would stay there again.

The entire staff was great, especially the manager Bianca. She accommodated a last minute upgrade and rectified issues experienced while booking online. First time staying at a La Quinta and I was pleasantly surprised.

Bad customer service

I booked this hotel because it was in close proximity to Texas Trust Theater. They provide a convenient shuttle service to events. The hotel was clean with new and up to date amenities. Well lit, safe area with many restaurants nearby.

Great stay, great location for the venue we were going to. Easy to get to. Safe location.

The property is clean but there are no restaurants or shops in walking distance. So if we want to buy bottled water, the option is only pay hotelier price per bottle. Just plan ahead.

Good access off I-30 between Dallas and Ft Worth; check out the town to the south. Friendly, helpful employees; bathroom light fixture showing rust; shower pan seems low quality. Overall, good experience.

This LaQuinta is located conveniently off the interstate. Quiet and safe atmosphere. Main entrance doors lock at a certain time and entrance is gained by guest room key. This is a great feature. The staff was excellent.

The property was very nice and right off the I30 highway. There were times I could hear traffic outside of my room, so it's not always the quietest. But it was very convenient.

Check in was super easy and the front desk girl was very friendly and answered our questions befrore we asked them. Breakfast was plentiful with both hot and cold items. They have 4 waffle makers! Lol It is enough to satisfy you and the nice lady working kept it filled. Beds are super comfy. Will def stay here again

Fresh nice big breakfast with multiple choices and very clean

Staff friendly and room was clean. We went to a concert at the Texas trust CU Theatre and this location was great for that event. A good variety to choose from for breakfast which was also clean and well cared for.

One of the cleanest and well maintained properties I’ve stayed at. The beds were very comfortable. The full hot breakfast was delicious.

The bedsheets didn’t look or feel clean. The bathroom had signs of mold and you can see the tub was sprayed over with paint. The place was overly scented; it was noticeable from day one like they were trying to disguise a bad order. The pool wad not clean. The breakfast meat was mislabeled as”turkey sausage and bacon “ when I had asked to verify if they were correctly labeled I was also told they were by an annoyed staff member. The staff member came back a few moments later and acknowledged they were mislabeled.

Clean, quiet, parking was easy, check-in went great, breakfast was really good. I have no complaints at all.
