Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Der Hauptbahnhof und die Altstadt sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.Die Auswahl und die Qualität hat fünf Sterne Niveau. Das Personal an der Bar war bemüht, jedoch zeitweise überfordert, wodurch es mitunter zu langen Wartezeiten bei den Bestellungen kam. Ein bis manchmal zwei Mitarbeiter bei voll besuchter Bar sind einfach zu wenig. Der Preis von 21 Euro pro Tag für eine Parkmöglichkeit ist auch überzogen.

Overall this is a great place to stay. Check in was a bit difficult but mainly my fault. I was very tired, was asked for my passport which the clerk took, she noted information from it, gave it back and I put it away. Then she had me fill out the registration and ordered me to write my passport number and date of birth. I suggested she already had this and was informed that there are rules in Germany and that is how we do it. I'm Canadian and those would be fighting words at home but I understand I am in a different country. Other than that the hotel is great with a good sauna open 16:00 to 22:00 and the breakfast buffet is superb! There could be in room coffee however as having to get dressed before having coffee is tough for an old guy like me

Very convenient for mainline station: for me, less than five minutes walk away. Quiet inside and out, no disturbed nights. Straight walk into the centre of the 'old' town a leisurely 10 - 15 minutes to one of the bridges over the Elbe, passing along the way shops and places of interest; then, should one wish, straight into the 'new' town and it's very attractive plane tree lined boulevard. Hotel was clean and attractive inside with a small gym which I used twice in my short stay. Reception staff helpful and efficient. I did not eat not drink at the hotel. Would recommend and stay there again. I found Dresden itself a wonderful city.

I loved the thoughtfulness for our dog. The room and facilities were good. My only "complaints" are that the internet kept dropping and the room cleaning was ok but surfaces weren't cleaned well and no one refilled the shower wash. Other than that, were had a good comfortable stay and would stay here again.

Wunderschönes, modernes Hotel Zimmer mit Glasdusche mitten im Zimmer, auch interessant, fand ich super, und Bodenlange Fenster mit tolle Aussicht auf die Pragerstraße, Weihnachtsmarkt und auf die Stadt Dresden. Alles sehr sauber. Frühstück spitze, alles was das Herz begehrt, sogar live cooking. Mitarbeiter super freundlich und zuvorkommend.

The Occidental Dresden is in a great location. Only a short walk from the main train station and surrounded by shops, cafes and restaurants. The Christmas markets and old city are also close by. Rooms at the hotel are on the small side but the bathroom was functional and a good size. The biggest issue we had was the poor quality of the pillows. They were awful, no support whatsoever. Breakfast was very good.

Serviço gentil e eficiente, chegamos antes do horário do check-in e se disponibilizaram para guardar nossas malas. O quarto é espaçoso, limpo e bonito - mas bom observar que o chuveiro é no meio do quarto então pode não ser ideal para todas as hospedagens. A única crítica que tenho é que não havia frigobar no quarto, mas tinha chaleira e amenidades.

I checked in at 2 PM. The employee told me I couldn't get into my room until 3 PM. That's not customer service at all. I asked why I couldn't get in right away. She said the room wasn't ready yet. Then she said I could get into the room now for 30 euros plus city tax. So she was lying, because either the room is ready or it isn't. If I can get in for money, then it's ready. The room smelled terribly of cleaning products. We had to change rooms. That went very smoothly with a different colleague.

Very convenient for mainline station: for me, less than five minutes walk away. Quiet inside and out, no disturbed nights. Straight walk into the centre of the 'old' town a leisurely 10 - 15 minutes to one of the bridges over the Elbe, passing along the way shops and places of interest; then, should one wish, straight into the 'new' town and it's very attractive plane tree lined boulevard. Hotel was clean and attractive inside with a small gym which I used twice in my short stay. Reception staff helpful and efficient. I did not eat not drink at the hotel. Would recommend and stay there again. I found Dresden itself a wonderful city.

This hotel are undergoing constructionwork. And have some issues with outside noice, cars, trams and trains, not to mention the square outside. If you need sleep, and are a light sleeper, choose another hotel. The staff are friendly, the morning buffet are excellent, and it is close to the mainstation.

Das Hotel ist ca. fünf Gehminuten vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt, zehn bis 15 Minuten von den wesentlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Man kann also ins Stadtzentrum laufen oder auf den nahe gelegenen ÖPNV zurückgreifen. Das Hotel ist sauber, das Personal freundlich, es gibt eine Bar und ein Restaurant. In der Nähe gibt es Imbisse, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und im Zentrum zahlreiche Restaurants. Man kann die Klimaanlage deaktivieren und das Fenster auf Kipp stellen.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut. Der Hauptbahnhof und die Altstadt sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.Die Auswahl und die Qualität hat fünf Sterne Niveau. Das Personal an der Bar war bemüht, jedoch zeitweise überfordert, wodurch es mitunter zu langen Wartezeiten bei den Bestellungen kam. Ein bis manchmal zwei Mitarbeiter bei voll besuchter Bar sind einfach zu wenig. Der Preis von 21 Euro pro Tag für eine Parkmöglichkeit ist auch überzogen.

The Occidental Dresden is in a great location. Only a short walk from the main train station and surrounded by shops, cafes and restaurants. The Christmas markets and old city are also close by. Rooms at the hotel are on the small side but the bathroom was functional and a good size. The biggest issue we had was the poor quality of the pillows. They were awful, no support whatsoever. Breakfast was very good.

Praktische Unterkunft, gut vom Bahnhof erreichbar und zentral gelegen. Sehr gutes Frühstücksbufett, ansprechende Bar, netter und aufmerksamer Service. Zimmer sehr klein, Toilette nur durch Schiebe- Glastür vom Schlafbereich getrennt.

The biggest highlight of this hotel is its location. It was within easy walking distance of shopping, sightseeing, plenty of dining options, and the train station, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. That convenience is the main reason I'm giving it 4 stars. The hotel itself is modern and well maintained. However, we didn't care for the room design. The shower and toilet were enclosed with frosted glass. While you couldn't actually see through it, it still felt like there was very little privacy, which made the layout uncomfortable for us. Housekeeping could also be improved. During our stay, the shower soap wasn't refilled after the room was cleaned, which was an inconvenience. Finally, I booked through Expedia and have status that included a hotel perk, but nothing was offered or acknowledged during our stay. Overall, the excellent location outweighed the negatives, but there are a few service and design issues that kept this from being a 5-star experience.

Very conveniently located within easy walking distance from the main train station. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel seems to have just undergone a renovation. Breakfast offers a decent variety of food choices. The path from the hotel to the historical old town is flat and easy to navigate.
