The elevator sometimes doesn’t work

The property is going through renovations so the reception and first floor are quite disorganized but the completed rooms are great. I have no concerns that once its done that it will be fantastic

This trip was horrible. I went to check in and was shocked when there was no mention upon booking that they gutted their lobby and were renovating the entire hotel. There were construction materials lining the inside and outside of the property, and no one mentioned when booking. I stayed 3 nights and was woken up early every morning by construction. Aside from all of that, my room had sticky and uneven floors. It’s definitely not worth the price.

When I checked in on Thursday morning, my bathroom sink was stocked up from Thursday night all the way till Friday afternoon around 4 PM. Friday when I got up to take a shower before I had to attend my event, the water was not working and they did not give me a heads up. They were turning the water off. Saturday when it was time to go to my event, the water was not working, so I just decided to check out of the hotel and find a new hotel. Do the fact that I could not take a shower for two days. The hotel was being remodeled and it was a very inconvenience to myself being a traveler. Nothing was available. They never empty my trash, even when I said it outside my door the lady put the trash back in front of my door and said I am responsible for my own trash.

Hotel is being renovated just in the little I saw it's going to be 100 times better than before it seems like it could be a nice hotel rooms have fresh paint new furniture and beds they are really cleaning the entire place up! I look forward to seeing the end result!

The.elivator was.broken, so 3 flight of stairs was my route. The room.was nice. The.bed was soft. Breakfast was tastey. The biggest complaint was the charge for my pet..

Was not inforn that the hotel was under renovation and was also not informed water would be cut off at 10 am!!! Why do we use 3rd party apps if they dont tell us whats going on with the properly

First time staying on the property. Very impressed. Hotel and room was extremely clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The room ac was great. It had no problem keeping the room ice cold. The area felt safe, parking felt safe. It was a very quiet stay, no loud noise was heard from other guest. We stayed there for a soccer tournament. There was several fast food options around the area. Whataburger, Raising canes just to name a few. There was also a nice little convenience store in front the hotel. The only small issue was the TV wasn’t catching channels, but the tv had Netflix option and the WiFi worked great. I would highly recommend.

Absolutely disgusting. The white sheets were turning yellow from not being washed, there was a cockroach in the room, the shower head leaked everywhere, the shower curtain was too small so the floor was soaked, and worse of all there was black mold growing in the bathroom. I would never tell anyone to stay here it was absolutely disgusting and it’s a scam to charge 60 a night

The room and property were top notch. Everything you need was available in the room, which was also very neat and tidy. The staff were also very helpful.

The room was very dirty with wads of hair, bugs, and debris under the beds. The bathroom ceiling was moldy and shower was filthy. The kitchenette was not stocked with dishes.

The first room was moldy. The second room was a bit better. The room was just above the smoking area so the AC pulled in the smoke. The breakfast consists of those eggs in a carton that are tasteless. The yogurt machine didn't work. The place may have been remodeled but they did nothing to remediate the mold. For those with mold issues I would stay away.

This hotel had some qualities that were positive. Like the kitchen area with a pot and pan to cook with. But, there were baby roaches crawling around on the floor and then ran under the bed!! It was so disgusting that I couldn't sleep all night. The room smelled like mildew and felt muggy the whole time. Sweat from the moisture in the room absorbed into my husband's hat so then he could not wear it. It was a terrible stay. The staff or the one lady we talked to at the front desk was so rude during checkin made us feel unwelcome.

Carpets were stained, old and quite worn out. Cockroaches. Bed linens cheap and worn. Quiet, except for some noisy lodgers running some sort of loud tool at 3am but otherwise adequate. Very inexpensive, no frills.

I checked in and went to the room. Upon entering i noticed a roach in the sink and one crawling around on the counter. I videoed and left the room. The receptionist told me that I'd have to contact hotels.com for a refund. She offered a different room but I didn't feel comfortable in that hotel after seeing roaches in the room. Hotels.com said that the hotel would not grant a refund even though I did not stay there and there were roaches in the room. I have photos and this survey isn’t allowing me to upload them. I've contacted the hotel again and was instructed again contact hotels.co.

I like that it was affordable and in a great location. I did not like the fact that it smelled very strong like cigarettes when the AC was on even though it was a “non-smoking” room. There were brown stains and a booger on the fitted sheet. The water pressure in the shower was very weak and took forever to rinse your hair. An alarm went off in the room next to ours for over an hour before it shut off. You get what you pay for at this place.

Hallway smelled of a combination cat piss and cigarettes. Elevator was broke and key cards kept losing access. Desk attendants never had a smile and always seemed like it was a chore to talk to anyone. People outside were smoking weed in a state where its illegal. Refrigerator was making wierd noises and when i asked for tech to come he showed up with lit cigarette in mouth in non-smoking hotel.

Manager claimed the beds in my room were queen beds but they actually double beds. My husband and I could barely lay side by side on the bed and we had 3 children with us, so queen beds were important for our booking.

The place has very recently been redone and the newness shows. All is very clean, updated, and nice. The rooms were a little noisy (can easily hear hall noise with door shut), but it wasn't terrible. The beds were comfy and clean. The TV was impossible to tune to cable channels. The only option it gave us was to log into our streaming services. My only complaint is that there was no coffee in the room. For a place with a kitchenette in the room (complete with a full-sized frig, microwave and dishwasher) the lack of a coffee pot seemed a big oversight. I tried calling downstairs a few times with questions, but I never could get anyone to answer the front desk phone. The breakfast was nice! They had good options that were replenished regularly.

THE BED WAS TOO TALL!!! It was impossible to sit on the bed to get dressed & put on socks+shoes! Also difficult to get into & out of bed! Windows were drafty!

Property was clean, comfortable bed, spacious room . Quiet area to relax

The only problem is I could not get the television to work. The only channel that worked was a soccer channel that was only in Spanish

Snack machine near empty, no ice, room was not stocked with bath products, and when ypu get a kitchenette you expect to be able to use it, there was not even a coffee pot.

Overall good experience for the pricing, i loved that. I didnt like the mattress, it made my body ache like non other.

When arriving me and my party had to wait at the front desk for approx. 10 minutes before someone came up. When checking in the concierge helped a lady behind me instead of me, therefore making my check in even longer. When I came back from dinner, my key cards didnt work. Took them to the front desk and was told they were blank even though I had brought my things to the room earlier. The plug ins in the bathroom both did not work.

I would like to stay by saying this is an ok hotel to stay at if you need a quick stay for cheap. The pictures provided on Expedia do not match expectations. The place stays clean enough and I can only imagine how different it is to keep up with a hotel as old and run down as this one is. From the second I stepped on my floor there was a weird smell the lingered throughout the building. In my room the door only barely worked. You had to force the door open because the mechanism at the top blocked the door from opening. The hole in the frame that the door secured in didn’t look like it worked and could be pushed while locked. I felt extremely unsafe. The man at the front desk explained to me that problem and said it would be fixed the next day. I was confused about this because I would be staying in the room while maintenance would be going on. But no one came to fix it. The bathroom had loose hair on the counter and sink. And it also smelled of half bleach and mildew. Overall I would never stay here again unless I had no other choice. There was also a message from management saying their prices will soon be rising which is strange due to the condition of the hotel.

Overall a seedy hotel with barely the basic amenities. The only night spent there consisted of smells of something burning, tons of cops, 2 ambulances, and clearly a drug situation from the looks of the 2 people that were taken away by ambulance and the what looked to be evidence bags one females cop brought out. Horrible experience...not worth the money.

I can definitely see the appeal for an extended stay but for 2 nights it felt overpriced. Our room was spacious enough but a bit run down and we found several bugs (alive and dead). The location was perfect for the things we were doing and the staff was friendly. Parking was convenient and with the exception of hearing the elevator all night, it was reasonably quiet. I would recommend booking if you plan to stay awhile and cook in your room, but if it’s a quick visit and you plan to eat out, I’d probably look for something else.

It was a great value for the price. Nothing fancy, but clean, and in a nice neighborhood.

I was looking for a moderately priced hotel to spend a single night in Lafayette. This was well located and the price was right. The hotel itself is a bit dated and the kitchnette part looked like something out of the '50s. And there was a single plastic glass wrapped in plastic, which seemed a little skimpy. The 'breakfast' was coffee (good) and shrink-wrapped chocolate muffins. If I had been staying longer I would've stayed some place else.

The floor in our room was dirty (our feet were black). There was no coffee in the morning in the breakfast area, really??? Price was too high for this level of stay.

Property is undergoing transition to apartment style, so the information on this site was inaccurate. Breakfast is not offered any longer and one could rent kitchen items to cook with, but they are not in the room. Stayed here before when all the amenities were available, but the staff was friendly and upfront about the amenities. Surprising $100 hold upon check in. Room smelled like smoke even though it is a nonsmoking property.

So when booking hotel is stated it had free breakfast. Went downstairs the next morning and was told breakfast stop last week and they would no longer be serving breakfast at that hotel in the future . I also asked if I could get a extra blanket and was told this could not happen since the hotel had a limited amount of blankets and couldn’t provide us with another one for our room. The biggest problem was them not having a ice machine. What hotel doesn’t have a ice machine. I really think I should get reimbursed for some of my stay since most of why I booked was not provided.
