What I didn't like is that that charge for parking $30 a day in Feb. They initially said 1 vehicle per unit ...we rented a unit for 6 people so of course we had 2 cars. They charged us 60.00 for the additional car but when we went to park there weren't any spots so we pd in another lot. I told the front desk that I wanted a refund for the parking ...she then informed me that it was for the 1 vehicle that we parked there. Why don't they just add parking into the price of the room we paid?

My friend and I recently stayed here and loved the location. The people at the front desk were more than friendly and gave us some good dining options. The only complaint we had was the $40 a night parking fee. We just thought that seemed like a lot, especially because if you couldn’t find a spot on the side of the building, you had to go around back and even last night, we took the last spot back there. All in all it was a great experience.

Very convenient location to be in the midst of Thames St. The hotel has it's own parking available for $30. a night while other area parking is $40. a night. There is a spot to park while you check in and they direct you to their parking very close by. The bathroom was recently redone and the room was clean.

This was our third year staying here. Upon arrival we were thoroughly disappointed. The balcony door was off the track so it was extremely hard to open and close. The chairs normally out on the balcony were missing. The table present was chipped and peeling. The ceiling had water stains and the sprinkler on the ceiling was nearly hanging from damaged drywall. The bedroom door was split. I’d also add that they don’t have a gym anymore. They do offer day passes for a gym 10 minutes down the road. It was a great gym but, inconvenient. For the price this year it was not worth it. We’ll be looking to stay elsewhere for our fourth trip back to the area.

It is right in the center of Newport and you can walk to everything. It was great that we had parking at the hotel because it is very hard to find parking on the weekends when Newport is very busy. The one bedroom suite was very clean and well equiped.

The room was absolutely spotless. Kudos to the cleaning staff! Bed was comfortable, bathrooms clean and living area warm and homey. The hotel could use some updating and the reception area wasn't very big but wasn't a big deal because we didn't spend any time there. It was a very enjoyable stay and would come back again!

Grat location, staff, and ease of check in. As others stated, it’s noisy being on Thames, but when you’re facing the street, you get what you get. Cleanliness was good, lots of dead flies and mosquitoes on window sills. Carpet needs replacement and a TV in bedroom should be included in the suite.

Great location. Beds were very comfortable but they need to give you 4 pillows not 2. We had the townhouse which isn’t really a townhouse more of a lofted apartment. Needs some updating for sure. The doors didn’t close good they dragged on the floor. The walls are thin so you can hear the neighbors but don’t bug us too much.

The location of the property cannot be beat! However, there is no nice seating area to sit, such as a shared patio. The patio they do have is small and not inviting. Also, rooms are noisy. If you are not on the top floor, you can hear everything above you, including the words to every conversation and every footstep as if they are in the room with you. Our bed was not comfortable as it sagged in the middle.

Tim at the front desk was so sweet and extremely helpful. Tim has some of the best guest service I've come across in a long time. Heads up - parking is $40/per night. We stayed in the nicer 1 bedroom loft rooms, they were very muggy and uncomfortable, as far as air qaulity. It was hard to sleep at night being so hot. They need central air in those rooms, or at least fans. If you opened a window or balcony door, it helped, but then you also have to worry about the bugs & seagulls coming in because there's no screens. Other than that, those rooms are nice. I was disappointed to learn there's no TV in the loft bedroom. I got sick for some of our trip & needed to spend a day in bed, having no TV wasn't fun during my bed ridden day. A lot of restaurants and shops nearby this location, it's right near the water, it was great for walking around. We took some family bike rides (which is impossible on Thames st. During the day). There's shops in the hotel on the bottom floor past the lobby door, the hours of operation for everything are a little wonky and unusual. Overall great stay for our family besides sweating non-stop in those nice rooms. Highly recommend 'The red parrot' restaurant across the street to eat at, a ton of menu options, all delicious! As well as 5star service.

Great hotel with lots of space, right downtown. Perfect for families with little ones so you have a place to put them to sleep, and stay up and watch TV, enjoy a game night and a glass of wine. The rooms are a little dated, but feel like for the price, location and space that you get it’s 100% worth it and we’d definitely stay again.

Very beautiful property, I have stayed there in the past with my husband and loved it so much I wanted to take my mother there as well. We got the most amazing townhouse unit with a view over the whole downtown area of Newport and the bay, and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. Paula at the front desk was especially nice and she made our stay as perfect as possible for us. We will definitely be coming back here and recommending this hotel to everyone!

They could not provide any extra pillows and only gave us 2 towels for 4 people. When we asked for extra towels they said they only had hand towels. They also charge for parking at their hotels! Wont be back

Our stay was great. Incredibly convenient and just steps away from just about everything. The day after we got home, my girlfriend realized she left her diamond pendant necklace on an end table in our room. I called right away and they had it. They offered to mail it to me that day but i only live an hour away and wanted to give something to the cleaning staff person. I will absolutely stay here again.

I originally booked that hotel for the 30th through the 31st with my girlfriend but I accidentally hit the 29th to the 30th when I brought this to Expedia’s tension and they brought it to the hotel’s attention five minutes after I made the reservation they wouldn’t refund my money or change my reservation I’ve been a member of Expedia for over 20 years and now I’m gonna be an ex member of Expedia and warn everybody how needy their company is if you make it honest mistake and it’s within a reasonable amount of time for me. it was five minutes just to push the reservation up one day and they weren’t even booked or just give me my money back and I could’ve started all over again. Terrible customer service all the way around I’ll never use Expedia or go to Newport Bayclub ever again.

From the moment we checked in which was a 1 minute process, to the incredible views and location, we were just so so pleased with this hotel. We have been to newport many times but staying here made it our favorite trip thus far! We also loved the coffee grinder shop right on the first floor!

Room was a nice suite with plenty of space and large kitchen. Loved the historic wood beam features mixed with the modern upgrades. Staff polite and efficient. Very central to all that Newport has to offer for eating and shopping. Loved how elevator from room floor went straight down to Surf Club bar and restaurant. Price was well worth what they offered. Stayed in late March so not sure what summer rates are.

Loved that the property offers a two story condo with two levels of private decks. Rooms were tastefully decorated and clean. Could easily see myself staying there for a long stay with the kitchen/dining area and spacious living room. Excellent location for dining and shopping with a coffee shop on the ground floor.
