Old place, has some charm. Room felt musty and old, bed was old, shower was weak and wonky. Overall it was fine, staff was very nice. Coffe was good. It has some charm, but shows age. The pool was nasty, thick green slug, I brought my swimsuit as it mentioned a hot tub, it was all chained up and out of order. I might stay again.

The room was clean. However there was not enough parking so i had to park clear around the other side of the building. It felt very unsettling knowing my car was not where i could keep an eye on it. The staff was friendly though. So overall a good stay but definitely a safety issue outside..

The hotel was neat and clean, but we were approached in the parking lot by people looking for cash. The pool is not in a central location and we had to leave between multiple buildings to get to it. The beds are smaller than a traditional double. The room was for four people, but realistically it was too small.

Absolutely loved the old school feel of thing's from start to finish. As someone who travels a LOT for work and kids sports, this hotel has by far been my favorite. No overwhelmed and grumpy front desk people, quiet rooms (first time in years i didn't hear neighbors), working tvs comfortable beds, clean beddibg, nice spacious rooms, good breakfast (even with retro booth and tables 😍), and a clean pool (although we did miss the hot tub that was closed/unavailable- it was covered). I will definitely stay here again if/when we come back to Springfield. It was such a wonderful two night stay!

Nice room, loved the bunk bed concept. Good breakfast. The only thing I would have to say is that they didn’t open the pool exactly on time but we still had time to swim which was great.

ROOM 412 The jetted tub was way old and in disrepair. The control knobs for the pump speed were there but not connected to anything and just turned round and round with zero effect. One speed which was way too hard and fast for old folks like us who had paid extra for a room with a jetted tub as we use them all the time for our aches and pains. The off on switch had been replaced with a button inside the cover where the original switch had been and you had to stick your finger into a small hole with rough plastic edges. The drain stopper was loose and if you put it in place you could fill the tub, but the only way to drain the tub was to break your fingernails digging under the edge of it to pry it out. Upon check out (who requires check out to get a receipt anymore?) they asked how things were and when I described this to them I was treated as if I expected too much. A manager rode her golf cart to go look at the room (as if I must have been making it all up?) They offered a whole $10 discount saying I had not given them the chance to make it right? Quaint old roadside motel, now surrounded by "City" and not updated for parking cars and nowhere to correctly park a pick up truck without blocking other spaces and absolutely nowhere to park with any kind of trailer period. If you have a small car and don't need a jetted tub, might be just okay for you.

We stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms. Cleanliness was an issue in both rooms. But the 2nd was just not good. Sheets had stains, tub looked just not sanitized and just bad so we just didnt use it. Bathroom was the worst, stains around the door ( which did get cleaned with a wipe so they just didnt clean it) there was a half used soap on the floor of the shower and a hair on the shower head. It seemed like they just didnt clean it. It was just very disappointing .

Hotel was rated as 8.8. More accurately it is perhaps 6.8. Floor was filthy; turned our white socks black. Floor was made of buckling vinyl tile. No rain gutters meant we got soaked unloading and loading our car.

Very cute MOTEL. Love that it is almost 100 years old, on Rt 66 and that Elvis stayed here so it is a part of history. I expected it to be dated, but it really needs to be cleaned. Floors were dirty, towels were stained and the deadbolt was also broken. Seems like a safe area and it was very quiet, so we slept well.

The room had a smashed cockroach on the ceiling. Other than that the room was clean, but run down. The jacuzzi tub had loose pieces of trim. I couldn’t sleep well on the uncomfortable bed. The front desk staff were friendly, but housekeeping ruined our last morning after we were given a late checkout. We still left before normal checkout time. Overall, not really happy with the stay. I won’t stay there again.

We had a king room. Pretty small room and bathroom, but did the job for a one night stay. It’s retro looking, but clean and updated to look that way. Bed was comfortable. Did have to ask for extra pillows. Staff was super nice at every interaction. Only negative was the heater unit was loud when it kicked on each time over night.

It was a cute and nicely maintained old route 66 roadside motel. The rooms were small back then, sondon't expect much. The breakfast was mediocre, the beds were fairly comfortable, the pillows were oddly small (like 1'x1' squares), and our TV kept losing signal on the channels. Overall, it was just a decent stay. Nothing bad, nothing great.

We were very excited to stay in this motel for it's retro features. However the beds and pillows were incredibly uncomfortable. We only stayed one night out of two reserved because we needed to be able to get a good night's sleep. It's a cute place, just not ideal for sleeping in our experience.

I secured a family suite due to my husband sores extremely loudly. The family suite has a second room with a door, so it kept the nose down enough for the rest of us to get some sleep. The place was clean, and service was great. My only complaints where the bed was not that comfortable, woke up with back pain. Also, the breakfast area was very small for the number of rooms that they have, and breakfast selection was not great.

The lady at the front desk was so rude. I told her I had my dog, she said there were no rooms left that were pet friendly, and she would have to charge me $100 for a deposit because of that. I told her it wasn’t my fault; I called the hotel hours ahead of time to reserve a dog friendly room, no one even mentioned this $100 deposit. She had a bad attitude and was very argumentative. Not a quiet hotel, I could hear trucks passing all night.

I love this motel! This was supposed to be a one-night stop on a cross-country journey. I had major car trouble and had to stay longer to get my car fixed. Tracy, at the front desk, was so very helpful. She proactively found the names and numbers of car repair shops while I was checking in. She wrote them down and gave me something to start with. I can't stress enough how helpful she was! All the employees I encountered were professional and friendly. I have pets with me, and I was thrilled that the pet room didn't look like a pet room. In most hotels, the pet rooms are so gross. It makes you wonder what they do with the ridiculous fees that they charge. My pet room was immaculate. I was so excited to have a nice room that didn't smell of air freshener to cover up pet smells. It is legitimately clean. The parking situation is ideal for easy unloading/loading from the room. The property is very charming. The grounds are very clean. The breakfast is better than what most hotels offer these days. It included hot items. There are nice blinds in the room and nice decor. You can tell that great care is put into the management of this hotel. Also, it has a lot of nice history. You can see some antique cars, and they have some history in the rooms. There is a great diner (George's) that is walking distance of the hotel. It has great food! I've never been to Springfield before. It seemed like a very friendly town. I will be coming back and will stay at this hotel!

Where do i begin, first of all my room was supposed to b a handicapped room with a king, nope didn't happen. Asked to switch rooms, i though the so called manager was gonna have a coronary lol. This guys attitude switched like u wouldn't believe, was extremely rude and arrogant. Will nvr stay ther again. Our vets need to be treated with more respect, than what was clearly shown by this manager.

Booked 3 nights . Wanted away from everyone and they accommodated me.Visting family and had great nephew with me. He had plenty room to play outside and we felt super safe . Security onsite . Haley at the front desk was awesome 💯.So comfortable I stayed a extra day to rest before my road trip home . Will stay again !

It is a very nostalgic stay. The decor was cute, and the staff were friendly. The room we stayed in was not bad, however the air conditioner made an awful sound and when taking showers, I think we all shared the water, so it would go in and out with the cold and hot. Breakfast was ok, gravy was very chunky, not much room to eat in the breakfast area, so had to take it in the room.

I rated it slightly lower this trip because the waffle maker was not working properly, the breakfast hot food was cold at 800am. Had to ask for creamers, sugar for the coffee station. Our last trip there was excellent so hopefully this was just a staffing issue.
