Our studio was very clean, spacious, and in great condition, with lovely surroundings that were fairly quiet—until the arrival of disruptive guests. However, the pool facilities were poorly maintained and dirty, with no proper supervision. Disappointingly, there was no room service or cleaning available on request, and the provided supplies were minimal. For a resort, this fell short of expectations, and felt more like a BIG 4 than a resort. I would however stress that the studio itself was absolutely perfect.

Stay 5 days. Very clean "cabin" with comfortable bed and everything you would need but would not classify as luxurious, rather comfortable. Onsite pool and cafe good. Approx. 1 km to main shopping street in Cowes. Although located on main room, property is set well back off the road and was very quiet. The cabins are very spread out over the property and depending on where your room is located, it could be a good walk to reach amenities.

Everything about the resort was great, multiple pools & spas, lots of activities if you've got some free time, there is also a horse in a paddock on the property that loves a pet. Only downside was the indian at check in trying to sell us some timeshare promotion bs

This is such a beautiful estate. We were greeted at reception and run through everything and where our villa was by a lovely young man. We stayed in a very comfortable 3 bedroom villa. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I was a bit disappointed with was the state of the indoor pool which had mould all over the walls and very poor ventilation in there.

The Wyndham is close to Cowes (3km) and easy drive to penguin parade, maze n’things, Churchill island and panny’s chocolate factory. Bit on the older side with villas in need of modernisation. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Tried to get us to attend their timeshare presentation (which we avoided). Cold when we stayed in early October, but heater in main living area was suitable to heat our bedroom. Kids rooms were cold. Pool and gym were in need of a redecoration with old fittings and peeling paint. Gym only had one older treadmill that worked. Overall, comfortable and OK stay, nothing fancy, but nothing terribly wrong.

Good stay! Don’t expect luxury but a solid good! Check in was delayed and no WiFi available during this wait - annoying. Accom very comfy and all mod cons available! Lovely and clean, just a bit dated! Loads of wildlife! Pool water green - tad gross!

Old and tired! Needs a revamp and some maintenance. No where near as smart as the photo’s look! The showers were dirty and there was hair presumably from the cleaners in the en-suite. Outside of cabins were in need of paint. Very disappointing and they tried to flog time-share. Sorry to say we won’t be going back. I normally write positive reviews but not for this property

The dining table was so sticky and dirty. One bedroom back handle was sticky. The worst thing was had to have a cold water shower. Without any warning or instructions how to reset the power. This looks like a common issue from the conversation with the front desk. One good thing is, this facility offers washer and dryer in side of the room.

While the overall experience of our stay was excellent and we certainly plan to return in the Spring, there were a few minor cleanliness issues that could use some improvement. The room itself was quite lovely and comfortable, providing a peaceful respite after long days spent exploring the sights. However, upon closer inspection, we noticed some cobwebs in the corners and windowsills that appeared overlooked by the cleaning staff. Though not off-putting, addressing these small details would elevate the cleanliness level of the room. We also noticed the rubbish bins were not cleaned leaving behind a nasty smell, a quick once-over with a cloth before a fresh liner would remedy this situation. These are relatively small concerns in the grand scheme of things and did not detract too heavily from our enjoyable stay. We recognize that tending to the needs of multiple guests across many cabins can be a challenge, but do hope management will encourage the cleaning staff to be attentive to these types of minor cleanliness issues. The Resort itself is wonderful and we cannot wait to return when the weather warms up in Springtime to enjoy another relaxing getaway. Kathryn and John.

Although the floor plan of our unit worked well for our stay, 2 of the 4 gas burners were not working and as one of the non working burners was the largest and needed it was very frustrating. 3 pools and none were heated so the kids weren't wanting to stay in for long. Outdoor furniture was filthy, and windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a year. body wash and shampoo and conditioner dispensers in shower were low in product. We enjoyed the location and would stay again, but our expectation would be adjusted.

We went for the penguin parade and had to stay a night in Phillip island, choices were limited thus I felt my best bet is on a four star hotel… It may just not suit us that’s all. It was a cabin. It was winter and the rooms have no heater and it’s sooo cold. Also interesting there are no AC in rooms meaning in summer isn’t it going to be super hot? There’s just fans if you don’t mind. The sheets were dusty and at night there are noises from outside probably due to wild life but this kept me awake the whole night lol. The tap and shower when turned on, brown water came running out. Didn’t freak out just knew that no one had stayed in our cabin for quite a while I guess. It just probably didn’t suit us but you may like it. Thanks!

Loved everything about it except the bed. The mattress needs replacing. The inner spring on the mattress is no longer inner, can really feel it. Makes sleeping on it very uncomfortable. This was the only issue we faced, otherwise was perfect for us.

Old chalet but surprisingly the inside is beautifully renovated and very cozy. Equip with 2 washrooms and 3 bedrooms. Good entertainment on tv. You can do own laundry and cooking. Wifi speed is fast and there is spa and swimming pool. There is no housekeeping /room makeup during the stay but it is good enough.

The hotel/villa was smaller than we expected as the pics showed were different to what we got. Slightly old and dated. Some things needed attention such as the broken safe and the dirty kettle. Was overall an ok experience however not sure if we’ll stay here again. A positive about this place is location, it is near alot or the popular Phillip Island attractions.

The place was terrible. The bed was from old war days could feel all the springs, it was hard. When husband moved I felt like I was n a trampoline. Left at 1 in the morning cause we both couldn’t sleep. It is rated as 5 star and paying 3 hundred for 1 night I expected a lot more

Everything about the resort was great, multiple pools & spas, lots of activities if you've got some free time, there is also a horse in a paddock on the property that loves a pet. Only downside was the indian at check in trying to sell us some timeshare promotion bs

We only stayed one night. Was a quick in and out. this resort really requires a longer stay. Seems to be so much to do. There were quite a lot of people behind the counter at check in, i counted 6, yet only one person was checking in guests. Another was in charge of going over the map and facilities at the resort. Didn't seem efficient. Idk what all the other people were doing. Good place for families.

Great facilities Only negative was both us and our friends also staying both got charged double cost for our stay instead of the accommodation cost and the $100 pending bond. For our friends this happened at check in. For us, we got charged the $100 pending bond which then got changed to a second charge for the accommodation after we’d checked out and if we hadn’t noticed we would have paid double. Be mindful of this!

I enjoyed my stay. I felt the room we stayed in was in a great location and had everything we needed. We went for a swim at lap pool and spa. I felt the lap pool needed some love. Walls looked half done. We also went into the spa and again there were plugs missing and looked half completed. On arrival I was asked if I knew what Wyndham was and I replied no so they organised a ‘presentation that you would receive a free buffet breakfast with’ to attend the following morning. When arriving the next morning to the meeting I realised on what the meeting was and didn’t appreciate that it wasn’t explained what it was and that there was a light breakfast supplied. Overall I did enjoy my stay and would love to come back.

When we checked in the reception staff on that day didn’t make a lot of small talk not very welcoming. We canceled a presentation we had there and the gentleman couldn’t get off his mobile phone when my husband was talking face to face to him! Other than that accommodation was nice and clean. Would be great for young families, great space and wildlife around.

Phillip Island has much to offer. We stayed here on our coastal road trip. The resort is several separate cabins. Parking was right in front. We arrived early and they checked us in early. It is centrally located with easy access to the activities of Phillip Island.

Our studio was very clean, spacious, and in great condition, with lovely surroundings that were fairly quiet—until the arrival of disruptive guests. However, the pool facilities were poorly maintained and dirty, with no proper supervision. The cottages were clean and ours was freshly painted it seemed. Service was wonderful and the resort kept the property clean. Perfect for families with kids and families that love the outdoors. The food was good at the restaurant and bar. The resort is in close distance to shopping and the beach.

Really loved the nature and wildlife around the property, the stay was quiet and relaxing, and i think the wildlife added to the experience. Staff were really friendly and it was fun. I do however wish that the restaurant and activities were opened a little later than 8pm especially on a Friday and Saturday as there was not much to do in town. Regardless, me and my family had such a fun time.
Really loved the nature and wildlife around the property, the stay was quiet and relaxing, and i think the wildlife added to the experience. Staff were really friendly and it was fun. I do however wish that the restaurant and activities were opened a little later than 8pm especially on a Friday and Saturday as there was not much to do in town. The resort is clearly catering for families to enjoy a great holiday. Lots of children out enjoying themselves in a friendly safe environment. As a couple just looking for a couple of nights stay while attending an event it was good. Room very clean and quiet, restaurant was lovely and all the staff were wonderful. Even better the coffee from the restaurant was top class.
