Baymont by Wyndham Auburn

I called ahead to ask about the pool and hot tub and was not told that the hot tub heater was broken so when my guest and I went in it was freezing and they told us afterwards that it was broken. The elevator was not up to date with the inspection of operation, it expired in April of 2025. 2 months ago. There were also a lot of things wrong with the room, broken items, stains on the floor and curtains, the shower curtain rod was super bent, etc. There wasn’t much of a variety with the breakfast items either. We were very disappointed with our stay unfortunately

The elevator was broken we were on the 3rd floor, we left for dinner to come back to ants all over the dresser and the floor, the floors were very, very dirty. Will never stay here again.

I book this hotel for 5 nights. The reason that I am giving poor review to this hotel is because: - Since 4 days without elevator. - pool without warm water. - hot tub without water. - dirty stair from 1st floor till 3rd floor. - breakfasts without any kind of fruits during 4 days. No diet sugar. No variety of teas. - no enough personal to clean the room. On Sunday anybody clean or change towels. - they change bedroom because the toilet was not working properly. - dresser drawers wouldn’t keep close. We put a piece of paper to keep close and report it and never they fixed it. The electric outlet don’t work properly so you could not charge well the cellphone.

The hot tub was colder than the pool. The hotel is in need of a lot of updating and repairs. Paint is chipping and falling in the bathroom.

The curtains had bad stains. Didn’t feel comfortable. Breakfast was very limited. Hot tub temp was very cold.

No towels or washcloths in room No bedding for pull out in room although we registered both rooms with being needed. No pillows available for pull out bed. Hot tub does not bubble and is barely warm and dirty. Pool heater does not work and so was freezing cold. Pool area is in major need of an overhaul. Dirty room. No fruit on breakfast bar. No working ice makers.

We booked the hotel to use a hot tub but the hot tub was down due to maintenance there were no notices prior to booking that the advertised services were unavailable

The people working were very nice. Our room just wasnt super clean and smelled like pee. The hot tub wasn't hot but barely warm.

Upon checking in nobody was at the front desk. Rang the bell for service and a several minutes a lady appeared. She was dressed in street clothing with nothing to indicate she was an employee, not even a name tag. Pool and hot tub not working at time of visit and it was the only reason I chose this hotel to begin with. Was told because I booked using Expedia nothing can be done for me. I did the “express” check in prior to my arrival. Save your time and just don’t do it because I still had to provide my ID and credit card plus fill out vehicle information when I had already done prior to my arrival including sending in a photo of my ID. My room was on the 3rd floor and upon coming out of the elevator the entire hallway was full of dirty linen and towels on the floor outside all the doors. This was at 3pm, left my room again at 630pm and was still in the hallway on the floor. Room was dirty still, floors dirty, food on lamp shade. Garbage under sink cabinet in bathroom so clearly not swept or clean and toilet paper was in trash in bath still. Bed was clean so that was a plus and no evidence of bed bugs seen. I booked this stay for leisure, wanted a little getaway since I had a 3 day weekend. Super disappointed with my stay and the amount of money I spent for amenities that were not available.

Roaches all over.

The primary issue was how dirty everything was. The room smelled like stale smoke consistently, the tile floor in the room was so filthy I realized that’s what was turning the bottom of my feet black, there was soap scum clogged in the bathroom drain, and the inside of the coffee pot hadn’t been cleaned. Everything also just seemed damp and musty. I could never recommend this property in its current state.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. I have a one year old and her legs and feet were pure black from crawling and walking on the carpet. It was absolutely disgusting. If you walked barefoot you felt like you were sticking to the floor. Our bathroom toilet kept getting clogged. Ants were everywhere. Will never stay here again. The only good thing is they let us have an early check in to get ready for a wedding.

The waffle mix was watery, so you could not make any waffles; the soda dispenser did not work; the orange drink was a cheap mix; only sugar laden cereal was offered; a cheap orange mix was offered; and there was no butter. The hallways were not cleaned from day to day and I saw a bug in my room by the sink. The person that kept the breakfast room stocked/cleaned/etc. was also supposed to cover the front desk - too much at times; although the person doing this was as helpful as she could be.

Easily the dirtiest hotel room ive ever stayed in. Ive stayed here before a few years ago and while it wasnt the cleanest it was at least normal. This time it was awful. There were ants crawling all over the window and air conditioning unit. Curtains were broke and looked like blood splattered on them. Yellow stuff dripping down the wall next to one of the beds. Looked like grease stains on the headboards. The fridge hadnt been cleaned the phone and tv remote looked like something was dumped on them. I could go on and on. It was awful.

We had ants in our room in the morning and a bed bug was found on our towel. No safe in the room. People seemed to be living here but everyone seemed friendly.

After careful investigation, we were horrified to discover that our room was infested with bed bugs. This experience has been deeply upsetting and has significantly impacted our enjoyment of our stay. As guests, we expect a clean and comfortable environment, free from such issues as bed bug infestations. The presence of bed bugs not only caused physical discomfort but also psychological distress, as we worried about the potential health implications and the risk of bringing the infestation back to our homes. Furthermore, we are disappointed by the lack of adequate response from your staff upon reporting the issue. Despite bringing this matter to their attention, we did not receive the level of support and assistance we expected. This has only added to our frustration and disappointment. As a result, I am requesting immediate action to address this issue. I urge you to conduct a thorough inspection and treatment of the affected room(s) to ensure the complete eradication of the bed bug infestation. Additionally, I expect a full refund for our stay, as compensation for the inconvenience, discomfort, and distress caused by this

The staff was responsive, professional, and kind. The pool and jacuzzi were great for the kids. Multiple times our door key kept resetting, so that was inconvenient having to go to the front to rekey the card. And we had to turn the door knob just right to get the door open. The bathroom and room were clean. Bed was clean and comfortable. The shower was a little noisy. All in all it was good value and great location.

It was a good room the only thing i didn't like was the shower head,, my shower had the attachment thing

The door to the room is difficult to open and not secure. I checked in and went to room and couldn't open door. the key worked because the green light came on. I kept pushing and turning the handle. Before going back down three floors several times I used my shoulder to open door. after a few tries it opened. a bit later I left and thought door was locked. It was shut but not locked because the door didn't fit. I came back and it was not locked

We looked long and hard to find a suite with a hot tub in the room. The picture of the hotel was very clear that a tub was in the suite so we booked this hotel. Well, NO there was no hot tub in the room!!! The bathroom and hotel room also smelled horrible!

The overall hotel was pretty clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom ceiling had a peeling paint issue and the carpet in the room could do with a good shampoo. It appeared very clean but walking around after a shower your feet became dirty quickly. The AC struggled to keep up with the warm outdoor air but did keep it around 70 (it was 90 outside and humid). The door also took a bit to close. You had to lean into it to make sure it latched. The continental breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Noise control was excellent as well. The staff was VERY friendly. The kids enjoyed the pool area which was not crowded and was clean. The area around the hotel had great access to food selections as well.

The hotel is outdated so it appears dirty when it really is not. Work out room is a closet. My room smelled musty. My fault for booking a pet friendly environment as the rug had an odor. The curtain on the window did not close so I had the light coming through until it was dark outside. Elevator did not work for a couple of hoped 1 day one of the days which made me hesitant to use . Coffee cups they supply in dinette area the bottom fell out and coffee spilled all inside the rental car and me.

We stayed in this hotel one year ago and the door locks were messed up and you had to slam your body into the door to open it. But I thought it was a specific issue with the room I was in. Now we are exactly one year later staying in the exact venue yet different room. I literally had to thrust my hip into the door so hard to make my door open when it unlocked that I have a bruise on my hip. A year is long enough to invest the money to fix those doors. It’s sad to see the independent business owners choose not to reinvest into their businesses or show pride in their business enough to make it have functional doors.

Carpet in room felt sticky. Bathroom ceiling was pealing. Hall door sticked, had to body slam against it to get it to open. The food selection was very limited.

Breakfast is only open 6-9 am. Most hotels stay open for breakfast till 10 am. I came to the kitchen at 9:05 and everything was put away and I got nothing to eat, I don't think it that hard to stay open till 10:00. My schedule for my 3 day stay was I was up late so never got a meal. The Bed was horrible, lumps and dips, very uncomfortable.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean but dated. We were provided a crib for our baby. The ac did not work well so it stayed kind of hot in the room. The hot tub was nice. The pool was very cold. Free breakfast but was very limited. I'm guessing they did not fill all the breakfast stuff because the hotel wasn't very busy but it was disappointing. Overrall the hotel served it's purpose as a clean place to sleep and relax.

Light bulb blown over the sink. Wasnt changed until late next afternoon. Front desk employee was awesome. Night time employee was rude and not personable.

Staff very friendly and nice

Overall stay was great. Check-in process was odd. I had preregistered but was asked to fill out same information and even put card on file which was already done during preregistration. I think it was a training issue. Highly recommend staying here.

The staff was excellent and 2nd shift was amazingly friendly and helpful

We traveled for a wedding. The front desk young woman was wonderful. She helped us out tremendously. There was no ice in the machines, the beds were not comfortable and felt old. It does look like they may be doing some updates but there were windows open on every floor. Overall it was a easy stay

There was no desk clerk either for check-in or check-out. Sign said to press button but only button I saw was a phone base that replayed incoming messages. Check-in clerk did appear but none ever showed up for check-out. Breakfast was medocre - limited with no eggs and 3 single serving cereal boxes.

Your staff needs to pass on from shift to another who will be checking in at a later time.

Right off the highway and nice

Everything was fine. There were many places to shop and restaurants nearby.

You didn't really have to drive to Nothing. Everything was a walkable distance around the property.

Convenient, nice and quiet location

Easy access from the interstate, conveniences around and reasonable prices

Our stay was fine, we didn’t eat the breakfast but this hotel was I inexpensive and close to 69.

1 - Dog friendly 2- hot tub not working and probably not working for a while 3 - did not have yogurt every morning, which is all I wanted for breakfast 4 - tired looking and feeling 5 - my non-smoking room often smelled like smoke due to the way the ventilation worked 6- did not clean parking lot of snow and ice 7-good location for the I-69, 30 min from Fort Wayne 8-multiple fast food restaurants walking/driving distance 9-walking distance to both Walmart and Aldi 10-workout area is a repurposed closet 11- bed was comfortable 12- could open window

Staff was always on break. Room was dirty, M&Ms and pennies found on the floor of our room. Pool was like ice and the towels provided for the pool were not much bigger than a hand towel. Breakfast was almost non-existent.

Arrived late and left early. Breakfast menu could stand a better hot choice selection but hotel was clean, quiet and safe. Personnel was friendly and courteous.

Poor management. This hotel is just run down. Tv didn’t work, hot tub didn’t work, pool was probably 90 degrees and had a broken ladder. Shower control knob wasn’t on properly. Breakfast very slim pickings. Juice machine wasn’t working, no hot water for tea and no gravy for biscuits. Nobody seems to care about this facility. That’s a management problem

Breakfast was terrible. No eggs, no meat, stale bread or stale bagels. Lots of paint peeling off, especially in the pool area. Coffee wasnt fresh, i had to go purchase my own. Shower head leaked so there wasnt much pressure.
