Loved the atmosphere feeling like a condo versus a hotel room. The room is huge and so is the bathroom. No kitchenette but does have a fridge and bar/snack area. Little off the beaten path of Lake Geneva downtown but that was a good thing. The grounds were very nice and loved sitting at the bonfire in the evening. Would definitely book here again.

I might have missed these details when booking but - the hotel has a sister property 2 miles down the road and most of the amenities are there (pool, lobby, multiple restaurants). We didn’t end up using these since we thought they were onsite.

The room itself was very nice and clean. The location/hotel is a golfing destination so unless you golf there is nothing else really to do on the property. Restaurants, pool or hot tub are not close. The Lodge where most of what they advertise is a whole different hotel that is not on the same property. The place is divided into two different properties. So even thou there is a shuttle it is not something you want to take to go to the hot tub. If you do not mind driving during your stay, then I would recommend but if you want to have everything close and within walking distance then it won't be for you.

We spent over 30 minutes at check-in because our room was hard to find and not well signposted. The receptionist couldn’t come with us to show the way, so it took us a while to locate it. Outside the room, there was construction and a lot of mud, and when the staff member brought the remote control, he accidentally tracked that mud into the room. He did clean it up afterward, which we appreciated. Still, the area outside was quite dirty, and it would be good if the hotel kept it cleaner. The room itself was comfortable once we settled in, but amenities were lacking. We couldn’t easily access the gym or the pool because they were too far away, and the hotel didn’t explain this well in advance. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but they need to improve directions and cleanliness around the property.

Check in was very pleasant. Finding the room was little difficult for a first time guest. Parking was challenging being at the end of a parking lot and a huge dumpster in the way. When first entering the room it was clean and presentable. Under closure inspection, there was evidence left behind of previous occupants. I found a few items and a really Nasty washcloth in one of the drawers by the bathroom, key cards. When presenting these items to the check-in office, I did not even get an apology, nor did it seem like they cared, which was a little insulting to be honest. We decided to dine at Turf the tap and cantina. I’d say the overall experience was great service was 9/10 appetizer was the cheese curds some of the best I’ve ever had. The chipotle chicken sandwich is what my fiancé had and it was not chipotle. It was basically just straight buffalo sauce so that was disappointing. I got the New York strip steak at $46 find you I think $46 is fair for a good steak but for this steak I feel like $25 would’ve been more for the quality the steak I would rate 5/10 the chimichurri sauce is what saved it the crunchy stuff that they put on top was basically an edible and they pre-cut your steak for you which made the steak more dry when eating it. I wouldn’t recommend the steak tacos and the sandwiches that they serve more appetizing so if you’re going there, I would recommend those. Enclosure overall rating for this hotel I would rate them 8.5/10.I would stay at this property again

Property was beautifully kept and its amenities were very nice. Hotel offers a beautiful view to Lake Cómo. Our room was very basic even though we “upgraded” to a “better” room. The room amenities are also extremely basic. If you want service for your room, you have to request it. The pool is not accessible if you require a ramp or cannot ascend/descend stairs which was an issue for us.

First time staying here and we will be back! The shuttle took us to The Rigde where we were able to use the indoor and outdoor pools. Ate at the outdoor cafe and it was delish. The views of the golf course at Geneva National Resort were amazing, especially at the restaurant at the Golf Lodge. We stayed at one of the cottages and it was spacious and clean. Pleasantly surprised!

Annoyed by the fact that there’s no pool or hot tub on site, you have to drive to the hotel over which is 1.5 or 2 miles over. It’s not even on the golf resort and you can’t honestly walk there because of highway 50. Everything else was nice.

We were pleasantly surprised how wonderful Geneva National was. We typically stay at Grand Geneva and we may have to continue with Geneva National. You do have to drive to any restaurants as it is not connected as other resorts, but not a big deal. Our room was beautiful with a great view of Lake Como. It was very cozy. The only negative with the room is that there were multiple dead bugs on the ground which was a bit off putting. Overall we would return.

The service was absolutely fantastic from everyone at the club house. The only two small things were that we could hear everything going on in the unit above us and noticed mold growing on the ceiling in the shower. Everything else was great though.

Dining options were great. Spent time on the "Dance Floor" which was a lot of fun. Room was pretty minimal and a little disappointing. Had to post a $50 deposit for incidentals such as minibar, but minibar was empty.

The resort was nice, relaxing and adult vibe. Not too busy. I stayed in the Treetop suites and I absolutely loved my room. The bed was so comfortable. The modern decor & furniture were perfectly done. 10/10

Geneva National was beautiful and quiet. Our “room” which was more like a condo was beautiful. It was new, clean, nice patio and gorgeous bathroom for a super affordable price. It overlooked the golf course and ponds in the distance. And about 30 deer eating in the wooded area. Shuttle service was convenient and their Hunt Club restaurant is a MUST! Amazing food and on site. Definitely recommend. Will be back for sure!!

Our ground level room afforded a lovely view of trees just beyond the thoroughfare for housekeeping and maintenance carts. The grand picture window gave them a clear view of our bed when the curtain was drawn (the only source of natural light into the room.) I felt like we were in a fish bowl. Not at all romantic! There were signs of hasty construction: the toilet rocked back and forth and the ceiling drywall was poorly finished--a large seam had begun to bubble. The bath linens weren't plush, rather scratchy to the touch. The sliding screen door was very hard to open...rust? The heating unit was disruptive, too noisy. So were the footsteps of the couple above us. We had to call the desk to get the check out time, and when we dropped off the card keys, no thanks or questions about our stay were offered. Maybe golfers don't care about all this, but we did. Will look elsewhere on our next visit to the area.

The Geneva National was a lovely experience. Everyone was helpful, professional and made you feel at home. The resort itself is beautiful. Park like, beautiful landscaping, Privacy, trees, views of Lake Como. We hope to return soon!

Was charged an additional $72.00 in resort fees to stay at the place. Very disappointed in that. Zero people were at check in had to wait 10 mins for assistance. Again at check out zero people around. Had to wait over 10 mins for someone to arrive to check out.

The property was very nice and the staff was wonderful! Very quiet and peaceful. The rooms were very clean and cozy. The only thing I didn’t like was the day of checkout our phone went off at 6 am on repeat asking for a code that we didn’t have. Also someone walked in on us an hour before we were supposed to checkout because they thought we already checked out. Other than those flaws it was a very nice stay.

The only thing I didn’t like was the day of checkout our phone went off at 6 am on repeat asking for a code that we didn’t have. Also someone walked in on us an hour before we were supposed to checkout because they thought we already checked out. Other than those flaws it was a very nice stay.

This is the second time we stayed at this resort. Excellent service. The room was ready at 12:30 pm and let us to check-in. (Not like other hotels as GENEVA INN you have yo wait till check in time 3pm to go to the room even the room was ready) Easy checkout by text . We will stay again.

The room itself was very nice and clean. The location/hotel is a golfing destination so unless you golf there is nothing else really to do on the property. Restaurants, pool or hot tub are not close. The Lodge where most of what they advertise is a whole different hotel that is not on the same property. The place is divided into two different properties. So even thou there is a shuttle it is not something you want to take to go to the hot tub. If you do not mind driving during your stay, then I would recommend but if you want to have everything close and within walking distance then it won't be for you.

We were pleasantly surprised how wonderful Geneva National was. We typically stay at Grand Geneva and we may have to continue with Geneva National. You do have to drive to any restaurants as it is not connected as other resorts, but not a big deal. Our room was beautiful with a great view of Lake Como. It was very cozy. The only negative with the room is that there were multiple dead bugs on the ground which was a bit off putting. Overall we would return.

The room was excellent but difficult to find. The description makes it seem like ever Is in 1 location but it is not. You would have to have a car to travel to the spa and pool area which is located in another hotel about 5 minutes away. That is also where the restaurant and bars are located as well. Very disappointed that the description does not make this clear as it was a huge inconvenience.

I might have missed these details when booking but - the hotel has a sister property 2 miles down the road and most of the amenities are there (pool, lobby, multiple restaurants). We didn’t end up using these since we thought they were onsite.

Dining options were great. Spent time on the "Dance Floor" which was a lot of fun. Room was pretty minimal and a little disappointing. Had to post a $50 deposit for incidentals such as minibar, but minibar was empty.

Check in was very pleasant. Finding the room was little difficult for a first time guest. Parking was challenging being at the end of a parking lot and a huge dumpster in the way. When first entering the room it was clean and presentable. Under closure inspection, there was evidence left behind of previous occupants. I found a few items and a really Nasty washcloth in one of the drawers by the bathroom, key cards. When presenting these items to the check-in office, I did not even get an apology, nor did it seem like they cared, which was a little insulting to be honest. We decided to dine at Turf the tap and cantina. I’d say the overall experience was great service was 9/10 appetizer was the cheese curds some of the best I’ve ever had. The chipotle chicken sandwich is what my fiancé had and it was not chipotle. It was basically just straight buffalo sauce so that was disappointing. I got the New York strip steak at $46 find you I think $46 is fair for a good steak but for this steak I feel like $25 would’ve been more for the quality the steak I would rate 5/10 the chimichurri sauce is what saved it the crunchy stuff that they put on top was basically an edible and they pre-cut your steak for you which made the steak more dry when eating it. I wouldn’t recommend the steak tacos and the sandwiches that they serve more appetizing so if you’re going there, I would recommend those. Enclosure overall rating for this hotel I would rate them 8.5/10.I would stay at this property again

Geneva National was beautiful and quiet. Our “room” which was more like a condo was beautiful. It was new, clean, nice patio and gorgeous bathroom for a super affordable price. It overlooked the golf course and ponds in the distance. And about 30 deer eating in the wooded area. Shuttle service was convenient and their Hunt Club restaurant is a MUST! Amazing food and on site. Definitely recommend. Will be back for sure!!

The property encompassed everything we hoped for and more; we were only able to stay for two days, and next time we will be back for longer. We stayed in the suites on the golf course, and the rooms were incredible. We played the Player course, and the greens were so well-kept! All of the food that we had on-site was incredible, specifically the Hunt Steakhouse! We will be back!

The staff was very good. The unit in which we stayed was also 4 stars. Steaks were well prepared but not generous and vegetables should have been included for the menu to be complete. Service was excellent throughout our stay.

There is one outdoor for the entire resort- it was way overcrowded and hard to get service- we asked for 2 hours from 2 different servers- who would just keep walking past and avoiding eye contact. We choose here to enjoy the amenities, pool side experience while some Of the family golfed. We definitely had higher expectations. The course is stunning but at $250 per, it’s very overpriced to not be able to choose the course you want. The rooms are stunning- even tho it’s a gold resort, we were not able to take a golf cart for the day for the resort use, which was odd to me. When I checked in ( they said it was 35/day, then when I called- the rep asked around for approx 35 mins and then said no- the suites do not get cart access. Beautiful scenery. I did expect way more the costs. The suites should include a pull out couch, have extra towels. Since the room only offers 2 doubles. With the size of the rooms, queens or kings would have been a better fit. In my opinion.
