I was pleasantly shocked at how clean and comfortable this was! I was expecting the usual, very basic budget accommodations, but this was next level. Very friendly, helpful front desk staff, excellent hot breakfast with lots of options (this is important when you're traveling w kids). Little details like lemon infused ice water in the lobby, firepits by the pool, and beautiful curtains in the windows. Our very basic room also had a separate seating area w a couch which was really useful when traveling w family.

The rooms were newly renovated and in great shape. Quiet rooms, large shower, shower head mounted high enough for tall people, comfortable sofa. Large and clean lobby and very good breakfast.

Overall, very good place to stay. Very friendly, super helpful staff! Room was clean and QUIET except for normal traffic noise. Not a peep from other guests. Only negatives for me were the location, sits in VERY congested area with Wal Mart and other businesses. There is a very poor design for traffic to get in and out with poor visibility at the stop sign. Arrived at 1:30 and was told NO rooms would be ready til at least 3. Never had that happen before anywhere I’ve stayed. But again, lady at front desk offered me the remote to sit and watch TV in common area til room was ready. And at 3 pm, not only was room ready but also fresh, homemade chocolate chip cookies! There are only two washers and two dryers. One washer was out of service and one dryer had quarters jammed in it. Other dryer left my clothes half wet after 45 minutes! Would definitely stay here again cause positives outweigh the negatives.

Great choice for a stay but staff should pay attention to their parking lots as someone was having a full blown tailgate party pretty much right in the driveway of the hotel when we arrived back our first of a two night stay.

Staff were so friendly and accommodating! The lobby was very clean and smelled so nice. Our room was clean but the floor did feel grimy and the bathroom had previous customers garbage left on shelf(Walmart bag with trash) and the floor looked like it hadn’t been mopped(wet marks in front of toilet)

The first room was dirty and smoke filled. The second room we went to was dirty as well especially the shower. My wife cleaned the shower herself, afterwards she ran the water for her to get the shower drain was clogged water was back up. So we didn’t take a shower. Front desk was very courteous. It was late and didn’t feel like moving again

Overall, we had a great stay. The staff is nice, the property is conveniently located, the breakfast is good, and the rates are competitive. The only issue I had was the room felt like it was cleaned in a rush. There was hair around the toilet, hair clips on the floor near the bed, and a brush left under the bed. It's possible the floor was missed because everything else looked great. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would return.

This was the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. From the lobby to our room everything was clean, and smelled fresh and clean. Our room was the perfect temperature and the bathroom was absolutely spotless. The bed was so comfortable it took no time to fall asleep. And I usually toss and turn in a hotel. The front desk staff were so polite, kind and helpful. It felt like I was in someone’s home vs a hotel.

Room had plenty of space. The beds were very comfortable. We got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was average. We had to ask the kitchen attendant to refill empty trays of food/bread constantly. The rooms need a good vacuuming. We had lots of confetti and lots of long strands of black hair in the bathroom and in the sitting area ( none of us have black hair) . We would stay again. The price and roominess makes it desirable. We’ve stayed at many of the hotels in Summerville area. This one is probably our go to

The common areas of the property were wonderful and staff was super friendly and attentive. However, we booked two rooms and one was just filthy. There were leftovers in the fridge, coffee spills on the counter and walls, cookie pieces all around the bed, the entry floor was covered in sticky spills and the desk chair had greasy hand prints all over it. It looked like housekeeping had just changed the bedding and cleaned the bathroom and gave up. It was quite frustrating to check in to this after a long day of travel.

We were very pleased with the room. The shower was apparently clogged, but Bob came up and took care of it within a reasonable timeframe. Breakfast was good, staff very accomodating and pleasant. Only downfall is proximity to the highway, would've liked it quieter, but that can't be helped.

Super clean, quiet rooms with very friendly staff. I loved the spaciousness of the room. I stayed 5 days in town to help prepare and then attend my daughter's wedding. Never would have wished to have been in a different location.

the room we had 213 when the AC kicked on sounded like a 747 taking off and at night the parking lot lights blinded us wasn't easy to get to sleep outside of that all was good.

All of the good reviews are on point! Every single employee at the front desk during our stay was at the peak of professionalism and created a very welcoming environment. We also got offered warm cookies during our stay when passing the front desk. It always smelled super clean and man oh man the breakfast! Out of our many vacations, this hotel had the widest spread of free breakfast that we have seen! The coffee was also very good, not too weak comaired to others we've been to. The only downside was we had a room facing walmart, and because of the A/C unit placement, the shades are unable to close all the way across the window, leaving it quite bright in the room all night. Overall though, we would absolutely come back!

Hotel front desk person is wonderful! The hotel property is wonderful, too. The only downside is having a room on the street side of the property because of cars with loud exhausts playing around at night.

The room was big and provided comfort during a rainy weekend while visiting from Boston. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect and walkable for shopping and dining. The water pressure in the shower was great however the sink’s water pressure was very low and should be improved.

Very nice property, comfortable beds, nice small living area in the room is a plus. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety from making your own waffles to premade omelets and breakfast sausage, fresh fruit, yogurts, etc. The dining area is bright and clean as well. Very convenient to I26, you can walk to shopping and dining.

Mother daughter trip to Charleston. The beds are amazing!!! Absolutely best sleep we have ever gotten in a hotel. Breakfast was delicious with many choices available. Front desk was very friendly and professional. Definitely would stay at Comfort Suites again !
