Service and facilities were excellent!!!!! The staff at check in and breakfast were friendly and helpful. The room was smaller than I anticipated, but it was super clean and had all the amenities necessary. The bed was extremely comfortable. The TV had casting/streaming capabilities so I was able to get onto Netflix on my phone and stream on the big TV. The shower was amazing...great water pressure and even had a low shelf for shaving my legs (sorry it that's too much detail, but as a woman, I really appreciated that detail). There was fresh coffee and tea in the lobby all the time so though there was no coffee maker in the room, I was able to pop to the lobby and grab a tea at bedtime and a coffee to take back to the room to get ready. Also, I had to leave super early (6am) and breakfast was already rolling. Wonderful stay!!!!!!!

Friendly. Fitness room in good condition with all equipment working and clean. Fridge in room not cold full of condensation. I was taken back by the room, it reeked of marijuana. The front desk offered to move us but we opted to borrow a can of sit freshener. All good. I appreciated breakfast service, which was fine.

Avid is a great affordable place to spend the night, close to grocery for re stocking and some good dinning options as well as cheap gas stations. Breakfast was mostly precooked and wraped branded meals with a few assortment of fruits and bagels/muffins, but tasty and varied to satisfy most ppl. Saff was welcoming and friendly, parking felt safe and plenty. Ideal for motorcycles. Room was spacius with plenty of outlets to charge equipment. Bed was good firm and pillows a bit on the soft side but good enough for a night of rest. Overall great experience for under 100 will be my stop by hotel in the future.

The property & room were pristine as far as cleanliness & upkeep go. It was very quiet, no disturbances, & the bed/bedding were incredibly comfortable. The staff was friendly & helpful. The hotel is located very conveniently to places in Summerville, & it's close to the interstate for going elsewhere. I'll definitely stay here again.

I would give a rave review, except, the humidity in the room was terrible. The air was on, but things were damp from the high humidity. Not sure what could have fixed that...but it was hard to sleep because it was uncomfortably damp. However, the hotel was nice, clean, and easy to get to. The lady at the breakfast bar was OUTSTANDING, super helpful, and needs a raise! Everyone else was really nice.

The rooms are simple, no microwave, no coffee pot..but the 24 hr coffee bar in the lobby was heaven sent..The bed was very comfortable and we loved the blankets! We also enjoyed the view of the woods from our window. We will most likely stay here again in the future.

This hotel is nearly brand new, so it was by that nature very clean. For a short stay the room was fine - but if you're planning for several nights the quarters could get tight (thin cruise ship size). Lastly, the A/C in the room sounded like an airplane taking off every time it went into its shutdown cycle and early in the morning you could hear the water running through the pipes in all of the walls. In short, the room wasn't the quietest if you're looking for a serene night's sleep.

The Air Conditioning controls, like many other hotels, is motion sensor based. While I understand this has some basis in saving money, it is an awful feature. At night the A/C shut off until we woke up sweating and turned the thermostat up and down. This is Charleston, SC in summer. It takes a LOT to make a room comfortable. And to start with a room at 80° then make the thermostat sensor so sensitive, made for a rather uncomfortable room for several hours. Why did we not complain? Because it’s a design issue and something the lovely staff could have “fixed”. The room was nice but it was small.

Stayed for 4 days and was so impressed with the service. I was given a different room than what I reserved upon arriving. Although I stayed in it the first night, the next morning the front desk was so accommodating and moved me to my original room of choice, even though they would be fully booked that evening. Ms Lisa of housekeeping even moved my luggage to the new room while I was at work. And Ms Orie (the Assistant GM?) was so friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. We were even on first name basis by the second day! It’s these things, plus the friendliness of the entire staff, that would make me come back every time I’m in town. Plus those beds are so comfy!

I was able to check in even earlier than i had requested, arriving from out of state earlier than I expected, front desk service was very friendly! My room was fully stocked with name brand toiletries, and immaculate. The king size bed was great, and the complimentary breakfast is very good, with freshly ground and brewed coffee, and many hot and cold breakfast choices.

Hotel very close to. I-26 so if your room is facing that side there is road noise. Hotel is. 3.5 years old and very nice , clean and staff is welcoming . Close to shopping . Getting in out of that area can be busy.

It was convenient and easy to access from the interstate. There were a lot of dogs there as it is pet friendly. There are floors without animals but we were not given that option. Our room smelled strongly of disinfectant at check-in but the hall could have used some freshening up. Everyone was friendly. Breakfast staff worked very hard (only 1 person) but selection was poor and pretty mediocre.

Due to lack of research prior to booking hotel, there are much equal to, or slightly better than hotels around within feet of the hotel that are much more cheaper for what u get. And Lord help me the complementary breakfast food in the morning with a joke. Jimmy Dean Johnny Dean microwaved sandwiches with cereal as an alternative. Again, not bad but the places to the left and right have much better food and much better prices for what you get. Bottom line prices were 10 $20 cheaper it would be fair.
