room 322 - was clean , good beds . I was unable to get a king bed, opted for 2 queens. good water pressure in the shower. nice large tv.. the floor/ neighbors were quiet. the breakfast is good. many selections - the coffee is very hot ,very good. parking is plentiful . * one of two elevators was out of service . the desk clerks were helpful. > if exploring SUN CITY , you are just 10 mins to the sales offices.

Do not mind a pet friendly hotel; however, for those of us with animal allergies, it’s a little rough! Maybe keep one Floor Open for pets so others don’t have to suffer with allergies or with constant barking???

When we arrived to our room #412 a very musky unpleasant smell greeted us in the room. I immediately notified hotel staff to request a different room. The hotel clerk advised no other rooms are available. He stopped at the room and changed the AC filter and sprayed smell eliminator. This did not resolve the issue. Throughout our stay our clothing, bedding and even the toilet paper became damp. With this issue, tissues and toilet paper had a funny smell. We ended up buying cleaning supplies, tissues and room deodorizer. Another point choosing your hotel was the pool which was closed throughout our whole stay.

The dust levels in our room were very upsetting to our sinuses. Turn on heat/ac unit made it much worse. Could actually write our names in the dust that started to accumulate on our second day of a 6 day stay.

Our check in went smoothly and the staff was friendly. The first impression of the property not as good. The designated smoking area was right outside of the entrance which made the entrance and lobby smell like cigarettes. The bed was comfortable, pillows not so much. They were lumpy. The couch was old and very difficult to get out of. The breakfast was a highlight. It had a good variety of food that was fresh and hot. The attendent obviously took a great deal of pride in her job and was constantly refilling the food and cleaning the area.

The breakfast was great and had a large variety of food . The room was clean and spacious . The only thing that wasn't excellent was the mattress. It was very firm , but with that being said some people like firm beds. Overall great stay.

The place was avove average, but the receptionist was rude and gave expedia the falt for giving me a king bed instead of the 2xqueen beds, of which I booked by expedia. Even my reservation confirmation said I had two beds. Of course with much persistence I received the queen beds, but it left a bad impression.

When checking in, there was no one at the desk. It was only 4pm. I waited several minutes with no one there. I called out and the person said they would be there in a minute. The woman came out and was not very pleasant. Everything else about the hotel was awesome. I love the hotel and the room.

The hotel and staff were both fantastic. The room was beyond clean, smelled fresh and decorated pleasantly. Both employees at the front desk that I dealt with were very helpful and extremely friendly! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely stay there the next time I am in the area!

This is a very nice Hampton and the people who work there are always extremely friendly! The key coding machine was down so they walked us to our room and were very pleasant about it all! The place is always clean and we really enjoy staying at this location.

The staff were very kind but I called 3 times before my stay to confirm I had a 2 queen bed room and to advise them that I would be checking in late due to travel time. I was told no problem that they were there 24 hours. When I arrived at 11PM to check in, I was given a king bed room and told they would try to find me a roll out bed. They said that was the only room they had left. I feel this is unacceptable service since my reservation was for a 2 bed queen. I was very disappointed in the Hampton Inn for this. Especially after I had called 3 times to verify I had 2 queen beds. There were 4 adults in my party so you can imagine that a king bed and a pull out was not the best situation. Still do not know what happened to my reservation. The woman at the front desk was kind but had no answer for what happened.

We were just in town for an overnight while hauling our motorcycle from VA to FL. We love Hampton Inn's and we were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to have dinner right across the parking lot at a nice restaurant with outdoor seating. Would recommend staying here.

I expect a higher level of overall quality from Hampton Inn. At this particular location Breakfast was terrible on both mornings of our stay, cleaning of the room (emptying of waste baskets, etc) and restocking of simple things like paper coffee cups was not provided. The front desk staff was not knowledgeable when asked about nearby restaurants, shops and points of interest in the area. Overall experience AT THIS PARTICULAR hotel was not representative of overall Hampton Inn quality and experience we find at other locations.

No complaints at all. Everything was wonderful, the breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve experienced, the room was clean and so roomy, the front desk attendants were all friendly and helpful, great location, with the Okatie Ale House the next lot over. It’s a must, great food and wonderful service. We’ve stayed at a few of the other local hotels and none of them compare to The Hampton Inn. What a surprise they made our bed and refreshed the towels without us requesting. That hasn’t happened since the Covid outbreak at any Hotel or resort we’ve stayed in.
