Nice hotel, big spacious rooms and bathroom. Indoor and outdoor pool that you can swim to from the inside pool.

Outdoor and indoor pool was nice

Had a great pool area with fire places. Room was clean and bright. Perfect location for shopping.

The property was very clean and the staff that checked us in were very polite and friendly. We took advantage of the indoor pool which has a connected outdoor pool which we found was unique. We also decided to sit by the fire table tops outside which added an extra special touch. The only thing that was confusing was what side of the building to enter to check in faster.

The pool and hot tub were fabulous, Cordon our server in the restaurant was great along with the food, the girls at the front desk were friendly and welcoming I can't say enough great things and would defiantly come back

Rooms are renovated. Despite the bar being under construction, hotel came up with a creative solution to having a makeshift bar that turned out to be very fun.

Everything was great! Specially the pool!

Nice enough place. Under construction while we stayed so not overly welcoming space, but that’ll happen. Pool was nice and breakfast was really good.

The hotel was perfectly clean and quiet. The area around the hotel seems safe enough, but it's not very walkable. I've stayed a few times and never had any problem. Housekeeping and front desk.staff are friendly and helpful.

We had black mold in our bathroom on the ceiling above toilet. We didn’t see it till the morning otherwise we would have asked to move.

The room was dirty and beds unmade when we entered. After going to desk they gave me a room that was small.

Really disappointed. I'm a longtime Marriott fan and even own a Marriott timeshare. This property was in terrible condition. One front desk person, Michele, was lovely and helpful - the rest were rude. The corridors were dirty (i'm not talking about the renovations, I get that) but there was literal litter strewn around. The housekeeping was basically existent. The first day they did make the beds but left no clean towels. I called for more towels and they arrived hours later. The staff left a pile of towels in the hall outside our room. The "concierge" knew nothing, which I guess is not that big a deal, his job seemed to be to give out water bottles - but in our room we only got one bottle of water the second day. We were two people. The a/c was extremely noisy - again, I'm not upset about that, they are renovating and hopefully they'll fix that - but we could not open the windows to let in any cool fresh air without noise. The second night the did not bother to clean our room at all. They just left one towel on top of the sink and left the used dirty washcloths in the shower. My friend complained - she was visiting from abroad and this trip was specifically to show her Niagara falls. Had I been alone I could have stayed with family in the area but because reasons my aunt asked us to stay in a hotel. So I spent a ton of money for a dirty, noisy, hotel with loud a/c. We were not offered any compensation, not even a bottle of water (that they were giving out anyway).

My husband stayed in room. He said They had a new system and they didn’t know how to use it. Room was dirty, bug wings in the picture frame, white grout in bathroom seemed to have mold, but def dirty. Room 128.

Really clean rooms! Well maintained hotel! Will book again in the future

I did stay in one of the newly renovated rooms. So glad not to find carpeted floors. The room appeared to be clean at first glance. The bathroom was not as clean as I would expect. Clearly the cleaning staff is cutting corners. There was a stain on the counter. Dust on the doors, the moldings haven’t been wiped and I found two hairs on the shower wall. Paint was also peeling by the shower floor.

Not as clean as I would expect. I understand they were going through remodeling but the floor in our room as well as the hallway needed a good vacuuming. The charging plugs for phones/computers between the 2 beds did not work. So the place still needs some work. Didn’t have to time to take pictures. Management should ho look

We had the most terrible experience at this location. We had two rooms booked. The front desk assigned the same rooms to two separate families and blamed this on their corporate booking system. Then came the housekeeping, who skipped over our rooms. Our rooms werent clean and definitely not at par with the Marriott standards. We have never had such an aweful experience at any of the Marriott chain of hotels.

We requested early check-in and I think we were given a room that was available probably because it's not used as often. 1. The window shades were not effective at keeping out the early morning (5:30AM) sunlight. 2. The bathroom sink drained slowly as if it was partially clogged. 3. The TV was almost completely unusable - you click on a channel and it took forever to load / or never loaded so we had to use their Pluto TV app to watch Today Show podcasts. 4. The shower stall was elevated about six or seven inches off the bathroom floor. For me stepping up and down into it was tricky.

The room and bathroom was quiet, clean and updated/ modern. Spacious and comfortable. WiFi was poor.

Overall hotel is little dated, showing age in common areas but the rooms are renovated and spacious.

Easy check in- easy parking- clean lobby and bathrooms- nice outside area w fire pits. The new remodel is nice the beds and pillows were very comfortable - the bathroom sliding door however was totally not private- whoever else is in the room can easily see you in the shower in the bathroom etc not good! No fan in the bathroom so whatever your doing in there can be heard loud and clear - I wouldn’t stay there again only because of the gaping sides and lack of privacy in the bathroom 😩

I like the new rennovation, very modern. Favorite is probably having a large working desk, very spacious for my laptop and travel monitor. Good bed selection and love the option with different firmness pillows. My room placement 739 was adjacent to a family with kids. Wish there was a option during booking to be grouped with folks traveling solo or in smaller groups so it is less noisy especially after 12PM.

The walls were so thin that I could hear conversations in the next rooms late into the night. I also heard a small child walking in the room above me.

Walls are thin and you can hear people in the next room. WiFi is spotty at best. Disappointing.

Nicely renovated property

Buffalo Marriott Niagara on 7/4/2025. Our family arrived late on 4/7/2025 after a long journey from California, only to discover that our prepaid had not been honored. Despite receiving direct confirmation from Marriott, we were informed that no rooms were available. This was deeply upsetting and incredibly disruptive, particularly for my children. The distress and discomfort this caused is difficult to overstate. The lack of a suitable alternative offered by the hotel staff further exacerbated the situation. The failure to fulfill a confirmed and prepaid reservation is a serious breach of contract and a profound disappointment, especially given Marriott's reputation for reliability and high-quality service. This experience has significantly damaged our perception of your brand and cast a considerable shadow over what was meant to be a joyful family holiday.

Was unable to check-in no rooms ready. We waited for over an hour after being told it would be 15 minutes. We ended up missing our dinner and leaving to go to the game without dinner and had to check-in again at 1am

Days before arrival, many attempts were made to call the hotel to simply ask to check in early upon arrival as we are not from the area. The number itself works to call, but you literally cannot reach a single soul. I tried calling over 30 times. The day we get there, we along with everyone else was told "there is a private event, you can leave your bags but you cannot check into your room yet as they are not ready." This was absolutely ridiculous and it's the first time I've ever experienced something like this when checking into a hotel, especially a Marriott. The front desk was also being very passive agressive and rude, which is shocking given they presented all guests with a very terrible check-in situation. I will never recommend this particular hotel to anyone in my entire life.

The hotel is dated. There was a strange musty smell in the room. When I was got to my room, I accidentally hit the door with the luggage cart. The cover over the electronic lock fell off. I called the front desk and they said they would send someone up to fix it. No one ever came. Luckily, I was still able to get in and out of the room. Later I decided to call the desk to request a late check out since I was feeling under the weather. No one ever picked up after multiple calls to the front desk. I tried again this morning and still no answer after multiple calls. I finally dragged myself out of bed and waked down to the desk. The lobby is on the other side of the hotel from the rooms so it was a little bit of a walk. When I got to the desk there were 2 associates at the counter yet, no one answered the phone. I explained that I had an evening flight and that I was feeling under the weather. I’m a Bonvoy member so I asked for a 4 pm check-out. I was told that 2 pm was all they could do. Meanwhile, the cleaning staff was cleaning most of the rooms on my hallway so I didn’t understand why I wasn’t able to get the later checkout. This was very disappointing but had I not been feeling sick. I may have let it go. Now I’ll be sitting in the lobby for several hours before I head to the airport.

The front desk was amazing

Our experience was actually terrible. Was told we could check in early, but were denied at entry. Couldnt check in after waiting in line for 45 minutes. Was told we'd have to do it after the Bills game. Got back from the game and waited another 1.25 hours in line before receiving our room key at 2.25AM. No explanation from anybody, but at least two staff members gave us different stories. Never again, Marriott.

I would say it was a perfect stay, we came to visit the Niagara falls with family/parents so booked two rooms, we got the rooms one next to each other as requested which was awesome. As I have booked it a month ago hence got an excellent price, plenty of parking place in the front and rear side of the hotel. We drove from Pittsburg and were very tired, I wanted to appreciate Andrew for helping us get through fastest check-in process, the rooms were very neat and tidy, bathrooms were spic and span. The cooling in the room was kind of centralized but it was fast cooling which we was nice. It was really very quite and we were able to relax had a great good night sleep. Yes there is some building renovation going on the first floor but I believe it was only in the day time, didn't disturb us at all. We vacated around 10am and check-out process was 5 seconds, you handover the keys and that is all, LOL. Overall it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel and of course we would choose this hotel again if we come back to Niagara. Thank you team.

Front desk couldn't find reservation from hotels.com afyer fifteen minutes got keys brought in luggage and found the room door ajar with the deadbolt stuck extended. Was given a new room which had a broken deadbolt that wouldn't lock.. Third room was great but check in took an hour at that point. Service was friendly just poorly organized or managed.

Adam at the front desk really made sure our stay was amazing and when we were scrambling to figure out getting my son a decent breakfast on a tight schedule Adam comp’d us breakfast at the hotel. Will definitely stay here again!

Upon arrival there was plenty of parking. Customer service was good, the property nice and clean. The room was immaculate. This hotel is right down the block from the University at Buffalo North Campus and its walkable. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Close to the University

We enjoyed our stay at the Buffalo Marriott. The location is in a pretty and safe area of Amherst. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was spacious and spotless. The hotel was in close proximity to many restaurants and the Hockey arena.

Close to everything

Hotel was clean, staff friendly. Not much around the hotel. However it was only a few minutes drive from Walden galleria and the boulevard.

We booked the hotel because on prior stays the restaurant and bar were superb. On this stay, the restaurant and bar were closed for renovation. The temporary restaurant and bar were tiny and inadequate Both had been promised for completion 45 days prior to our stay. Each day of our stay we had to request that basic supplies be furnished to the room. None were. Trying to call the front desk was fruitless

The lobby was very nice and welcoming, so I really had high expectations. When I booked our room, it said free breakfast. Well, apparently when you book on Travelocity that isn’t the case..because when we ate our powdered scrambled eggs, dried out sausage, and a glass of watered down orange juice..we got charged $21!!! When we asked about the free breakfast, the front desk clerk told us that we were exempt because of the rate we paid. Even though it said on Travelocity that it was included. The room was run down. The bathroom door was warped at the bottom as if it had water damage. The vending machine on our floor didn’t work. The television said that showtime was included free with our stay..yet never worked. (Maybe because we booked thru Travelocity 🙄) The room was cleanish..but, there was some dust on the top of the tables, furniture and etc. So definitely hadn’t been cleaned recently. But, the sheets were clean and the bed comfortable enough. Definitely not even worth the “discounted” rate we got. Disappointing.

Good place to stay. Please note that they do not include breakfast in the hotel cost and you will have to pay around $20 for your breakfast. Front desk was very busy when I checked in and had to stay in line for more than 30 min. Other than that everything else was good.

Decently clean and well priced for location, but the breakfast was a joke (not very good food - no toaster? Really? - and extremely inconvenient to locate, not to mention having to pick up your food in one room, go to another room down a hallway to see if there were seats, which there were not when I tried, and then … stand around and try to eat eggs while holding your plate and your four-year-old’s cereal?). Room cleaning was inconsistent over our four night stay as well. Will not stay again.
