Stayed 1 night

We arrived around 10 pm tired after a day of traveling. We asked the staff, but there was not a drink or snack available - no coffee, tea, drink or cocktail- “the kitchen was shut down and no snacks available.” I had work to do for the next day, and I asked several times, but there was no WIFI. The hotel advertises WIFI, but they do not have it and lacked any concern about inconvenience to guests. Room was clean.

This was such a warm welcoming place, with a huge room, good facilities and a nice breakfast. Really well located. Very much enjoyed my stay here and would recommend. As others have noted, it's a hotel combined with a residence for older people, and if I end up in such a place in my golden years I'll consider myself to have done well!

Having spent more than 150 nights in hotels just this year, I hope my feedback may be useful to some. On the positive side, I appreciated the generous size of both the room and the bathroom. However, I found the value for money disappointing. The hotel is quite expensive for what it offers, and at this price point I would expect daily room cleaning, which was not provided. The furniture also appears dated and would benefit from an update The gym facilities were below average in terms of quality, and no towels were available on the days I visited.
