Candlewood Suites Perry-National Fairground Area by IHG

Being a new hotel I had to try this out. I had never stayed in a Candlewood before. Being a new hotel everything was clean. All rooms have a kitchenette much like the Best Western Plus Rigby's in Warner Robins. It has an oven,dishwasher,fridge,microwave,pts and pans,silverware,glasses and even a jug of cold water in the fridge. AC and Heating work very well. The temperature control thermostat is on the wall. It also has an ironing board and steam vac. There is a big screen tv. Bathroom has a nice tub and shower with glass slidng doors. Bed was very comfortable. From the 4th floor hall you can see Walmart and the interstate as well as the Holiday in in front of this hotel. From my room I saw Chick Filet. You will be charged $26 for the Candlewood Cupboard were you get your food and drinks but if you go below 26 the difference will be put back in your bank. They have a nice pool but it's closed for the season. They also have grills. No free breakfast. There is an elevator and ice machine as well. I recommended this hotel for people traveling thru this town to other locations or as a staycation for people living in Perry. I took photos to add but the add button isnt working. I mash tha add photos and nothing happens.

Great Hotel! Very clean. Nice pool! They had music playing out there. And there was a grill! Perfect place to stop if you're traveling on I-75

New hotel nice clean rooms. Pool was not open yet was waiting on inspection from the state.

Very impressed with the cleanliness And amenities. My only concern was that the shower did not drain towards the drain, so there was standing water in the shower.

Overall great hotel , very clean and updated rooms. No issues with cleanliness ! Very nice staff as well can’t complain and close to restaurant for food options. Would definitely recommend

The peep hole in the door and the gaps allowed so much light and it hit perfectly on our faces while we were lying in the bed. When paying $230 for a "nice" hotel, I expect better. We purposefully paid more for this nicer hotel compared to others in the area for the best night of sleep possible on a long car ride. This sounds like a silly thing to note, but the door gaps were so huge and the light coming in was really crazy. There were also small things that annoyed us, adding up to just not a good night for the price. I would recommend saving some money and staying at a cheaper place for, I assume, the same comfort. I just remembered, the water pressure was very low making it hard to shower and definitely not enjoyable.

This was a very spacious room. Loved the extra amenities!

New hotel. Floors and walls are thin. You will not get any sleep here.

Bathroom was absolutely better than 90% of economy-like hotels I have stayed in. On par with a few 4 star hotels I have stayed in. On the weird side- the conditioner and hand lotion were switched. Seriously odd, but glad I noticed before I got in the shower. The floors were odd- felt a little soft in locations like it was an older hotel that had been remodeled. In total it was fine was a night and I might stay there again.

I was very excited to stay at the new hotel in Perry until I was accused of smoking weed in my room when I don’t smoke. My fiancé has Tourette’s and he will step out to the truck and maybe hit it once or twice. I was in a hot shower with the door open when he came in to brush his teeth. The manager then bangs on the door so when he went to the store she accused me of smoking in the room because she could see “smoke”. I then get a charge for $150 on my card and I still wasn’t out the shower. So I went down to speak with Lilly Agard about why the charge was on my card and I hadn’t spoke with her but before I could speak she was VERY rude. Refused to walk back up to the room because she said I doused it with perfume. Got loud when I was trying to explain or situation so I asked for her boss’s information and she refused to give me anything. Will not be coming back and I won’t stop until I get the refund. If I would have smoked in the room it would be different but I don’t smoke.
