Property was in excellent condition. It was clean, friendly staff, very nice rooms. Biggest gripe was I wanted a place with an inside pool...which they had. Problem is, it was unusable because it was unheated. If the water were another few degrees lower, I could've skated on it. Not the end of the world...but that's why I paid MORE for this property over just a regular nice hotel room in the area. The only other gripe is...do not advertise free breakfast. Cold cereal and a nuke-a-bagel ain't breakfast.

The whole facility was very clean and well kept, and the decorations and furnishings were nice. The pool could have been warmer, too cold for my taste. The staff were awesome and very helpful!

Room was very small. The white towels were so dingy and dirty. Only gave one towel per person. Asked for more but the ones they brought weren’t usable due to black stains and dirty looking. Asked for a wake up call and the girl at the front desk stated they do all their wake up calls at 7:30 am. So I said, everyone wakes up at the same time? Then she asked me what time I wanted it for. Told her 8:15. She said okay she would put it in the notes. The next morning I didn’t receive the wake up call so I called and the manager said the notes showed 8:15 pm. Really? Who sleeps until 8:15 pm at night?!

I only gave it 3 stars on cleanliness because our room did have ants. But the hotel did make it right by quickly moving us to a nearby clean room. The rooms otherwise are very clean and new. Our kids loved the indoor pool, breakfast was great and staff were accommodating.

SOLD my room! Went to check in and the room we walked in was not the handicap accessible room with roll in shower that I booked. I was told the room I PAID FOR in advance days prior was changed by someone at the desk the morning of my arrival. I was never told and upon asking for a different room, I was told there were no other rooms available besides the one he just assigned to me. When we walked in, the shower was nasty in the floor, no toilet paper at all (had to ask for it), and there was hair in and around the base of the toilet. The room was filthy! I have stayed here more than 2 months out of the year for the last few years and WILL NEVER BE BACK! We had to re-book with another hotel and by now it has just made it past midnight! Booking this late was HELL and we booked across the street at a NEW HOTEL which was over $200 more. Super MAD AT AVID in Perry, GA. DO NOT STAY HERE! I was on a business trip as always when staying here and NEVER again! Save the time and frustration and stay somewhere else. Hopefully this will educate others and management at AVID. I would like someone to contact me from the hotel. They did refund me my money as requested and Hotels.com confirmed and sent it back as well. Thank you Hotels.com for your work as always. - RJ

I have stayed here before and had a pretty good experience. However, this past weekend was awful! Everytime someone would use plumbing (shower, toilet, sink) the pipes in my room would “knock” for 5 mins straight. Also, walls are so thin that you can hear EVERYTHING on your floor. Everything else was good

Very comfortable for a 2 night stay. Room was small and no closet but updated, clean, well laid out, good size bathroom, large tv and good lighting. Had everything I needed. Also loved the Dove bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. Breakfast was subpar: nothing fresh, just premade omelettes and sausage sandwiches with toast, bagels, cereal, etc. Decent location and close to highway. Check in and out was super simple. Fair price. Overall, really enjoyed our stay.

Very convenient location, Near Walmart, Sports Center and restaurants. Room 206 was very clean, especially the bathroom. Bed and pillows comfy, plenty of space in room, no weird, musty smells. Outside of hotel clean, with plenty of lighting at night. This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. The state fair was going on, so hotel was very busy. The friendly staff kept breakfast replenished. With many guest coming and leaving the hotel, the staff made you feel like you were the only ones there. Love this hotel!!

Everything was good about the property. It was in a good place and wanted to be close to Warner Robins or to other counties Fort Valley. The only problem that I had is, they had $100 deposit that they never disclosed when I booked the room.

Rooms were quiet, well appointed, price matched the expectation I had. Staff was excellent especially the lady who ran the breakfast bar in the morning, she was very accommodating, well organized, took a lot of pride in her work. Overall great experience, when in the area I will stay at this property.

Room was really small, but clean. I didn't like the smelll of the room. Smells like sweaty human. It was convenient, right off the highway, longhorn 15 seconds away, which was good. The aesthetics of the place are nice, staff was nice and helpful.

This seems to be a relatively new property. I liked the minimalistic mind set. The rooms are clean and designed to cleaned easily as well. Front staff was polite on check in and check out. The breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, potatoes, yogurt, muffins, etc. The place was quiet, reasonably priced, close to Walmart.

The cleaning of the elevator was desperately needed and the bathroom floors need a scrub. The breakfast attendant need to be more attentive and not talking so much. Milk, oj and other foods ran out and wasn’t replaced till someone said something.

Very nice property . Staff was really friendly and nice. Room was very clean and quiet. The only thing was grab n go breakfast doesn’t work for everyone. Some of us have dietary restrictions. Buffet style works good for everyone even with restrictions because we can pick and choose fresh foods not just cereal etc.

I love the style and size of Avid hotels. Love the cleanliness, lack of carpet in the rooms, and streamlined look of the decor. This hotel did not start breakfast until 7am which did not work out well for our plans but was probably fine for other people.

The hotel was so clean! It was off the highway so it was also quiet. The breakfast was great - healthy and fresh options. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I will stay here again when in town for horse shows.
