Econo Lodge Manchester

We stayed for a week, the room and hotel were clean. The day staff was nice. The bed was not super comfy but not terrible either. The room had a fridge, but no microwave or coffee. There is a community microwave downstairs, and coffee till 9am. The location was great for us. There is a walkway under an overpass that leads to the parking lot that seemed to bring in people that were not staying at the hotel.

FRONT DESK SERVICE IS BAD. NO ONE CARES ABOUT CUSTOMER IF THEY ARE HAVING HARD TIME WHEN ELIVATOR IS NOT WORKING... NO ONE THERE TO HELP... BREAKFAST HAS VERY LIMITED ITEMS. (BREAKFAST INCLUDED). PEOPLE HAVE TO GO OUT AND GET BREAKFAST.. ROOM WAS QUITE DIRTY. WASHROOM DOOR LOOSE NOT PROPERLY LOCKED... ROOM HAS SOME TYPE OF BAD SMELL. NOT RECOMENDED..

There was Handicap parking at the main entrance but the entrance was not wheelchair accessible. You had to park at the back of the building to gain access. It would be easy enough for the property to make the front entry accessible. There was always a few people hanging out at the front entrance which made it feel a little less safe but once inside the lobby was clean and the front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were a little dated and ceiling tiles weee in bad need of being swapped out but it was quiet, spacious and the beds were comfortable.

Staff: Friendly and fairly quick check in. Room: Dated. Drop tile ceiling will have some water stains and has seen batter days. AC unit worked and cooled the room fine. Bathroom: Water takes a while to get hot, not a lot of water pressure. Amenities: Free parking. Free breakfast - toasts/bagles, cereal, coffee, juice machine with apple & oj (oj was out), yogurts, and wrapped muffins/pastries. Works well enough to start the day off right. As a basic room for the night at a <$100/night price can't really complain.

The room was clean, and the TV and internet connections were good. We didn't make use of the airport shuttle or the breakfast.

The hotel it was okay except the no A/C in the hallways.

This is the second time we have been there. Coffee is available 24 hrs a day and they have Breakfast from 6to 9 am. staff is excellent!

We stayed only for one night and therefor it was okay. Room seems pretty clean and breakfast was nice. Parking was a big plus.

The parking was small, but it was safe. The room condition was great; the only thing I would suggest is putting a microwave in the room. The cleaning service was amazing.

The room when we arrived was not the cleanest...you certainly wouldn't want to bath in the tub. Shower was fine to do. There was no coffee or anything in the room and free coffee was only from 6am-10am daily.

Hotel was very old and outdated. Needs a major deep cleaning. Not a pleasant experience at all.

The heater metal cover was torn and in dangerous conditioned. The restroom was ver dirty, some mold in the grout. Oxidation on the roofing tiles, dirty moldy tub.

Old carpet, smelled musty

Place was clean and rooms were good.

Had bedbugs in room. Do not think about getting a room here.

Found a used towel in the bathroom door. Sheets feels and looks dirty. Looking out from the window, you can’t see anything, it’s covered with cobwebs! Paid around 280 for the night. Unfortunately this was the only one available that we could find online.

Waste of money. The bed was hard as a rock. The air conditioner turned off after 2 minutes of running. The comforter had brown spots on it. The sheets had stains. Thankfully i brought a small throw blanket that i used instead. I should have just slept in my car

We arrived just before midnight with a reservation, but it took over 30 minutes to check in—mostly waiting, then delays with processing and a computer issue after we were already heading to our room. We were sent to an entrance that didn’t exist, then finally got to our top-floor room… which was nearly 100°F. The A/C barely helped. We took temp readings: 96° at the headboard, 94° on the mattress. We had to drag the bed to the A/C just to get a little relief. The room eventually cooled off—right around the time we had to check out. Might be fine in cooler weather, or with earlier check-in and better-trained staff. But this stay was rough.

The floors are terribly unlevel, i had a 2 inch gap under one side of my door and the walls are paper thin, i couls here everything going on in the room next to mine and in the halls.

I appreciated the staff's service. The motel and the room are reasonably clean. The adjacent highway is very noisy, both day and night.

Good price. Outdated. Looked clean. No hairdryer.

As far as cheap hotels go, the Econo lodge was suitable enough. My major gripe was the lack of AC in our room, it was trying to cool our room but didn't quite get there.

Room overlooked the main highway. One window was off its track and didn’t close so we heard the traffic all night.

They gave us a room next to the highway, so we could not sleep almost whole night due to highway noise. Once we got awake at night due to the old AC in the room splashing cold water on us. They really need to make sure that they don't give any room to the guest which has a window on the highway side. This factor makes the overall experience worse, as we need a calm and quite environment to sleep at night. Otherwise the cleanliness and customer service, breakfast etc was alright.

Front desk personnel were uninterested, slow, a little surly, and generally not very helpful. Wanted to charge us $25 per room for early checkin, even though rooms were already ready to go.

Polite and helpful staff

My whole experience was bad. The girl with the braids and neck tattoo working the front desk was incredibly rude and condescending towards me and so was the other employee Zeke. I had originally booked one night through Hotels.com but decided to book 2 nights instead. When I tried to modify the reservation on hotels.com the price was significantly more expensive so I figured I'd call the hotel directly and book a 2nd night. I called and spoke to Sasha and she said that was no problem, however, upon arrival to the hotel I was told that they would have to charge me the $100 security deposit twice. I was unaware of this and I told them that I would only be able to pay for the first night then wait til I get paid (I'm traveling for business) then pay for the second night when I get back from work. I asked them if I would have to clear my stuff by check out after the first night and move to another room and they wouldn't give me a straight answer. I was calm and polite but they were incredibly rude to me and acted like I was crazy for asking why they have to charge me the security deposit twice instead of combining two bookings into one. So I paid for the first night, then I woke up to find out that the shower wasn't working. I complained to the front desk and they told me to take it up with corporate and then when I asked for their number, they said they couldn't provide that info. Customer service sucks so I cancelled my 2nd night and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Person behind desk was extremely slow and rude. No positive customer service at all. Breakfast was in an extremely small room. People off the street hanging out in lobby. Very unsafe. Bed bug stains on bed linens. The only good thing was $. Would not recommend anyone to stay there. Extremely unprofessional staff.

Was expecting such a large incidental hold. People smoking right outside the main doors. Staff wasnt very welcoming.

Wow, this was a decent hotel. There were no real wow factors the area did not seem to be that safe but overall the experience was not horrible. It was close to a lot of stores and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and it was an easy check-in and checkout. I would stay here again. The rooms were fairly clean and spacious.

It was in a convenient location, right off the Highway. And plenty of restaurant in the area.

Dwayne at the front desk is unwelcoming and smug. Burn hole in bedspread. Bad part of town. Crack heads in parking lot.

All around crappy experience. Dirty tub. Pillows all worn down & flat. Shady people just roaming hallways & common spaces. Zero customer service. Police all over the property on one day. Drug addicts all hanging out in cars, going in & out. Very unsafe environment. Dont go here. Stay away.

Very close to arena

We couldn’t even stay because of the horrible people around the property. It wasn’t safe for our family.

It's decent for the price. The bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast was fine. My only complaint is the room smelled a little funny, as if someone had smoked there a long time ago. The receptionist Miguel was super nice.

Sketchy area, not well lit. Room was supposed to have a queen bed, obviously just a double. Room was very worn, needs a lot of TLC. Very warm when we entered the room, set the ac which was turned off, to 65. Took hours to get the room comfortable. Breakfast area very small, provided cereal, bagels & muffins. Some yogurt in a small refrigerator, no fruit offered. Coffee from a machine - was OK. Will not visit if in the area again. Guess we got what we paid for, was least expensive option in the area.

Didn’t realize until arrival that guests could be charged a fee of $25 for early arrival. ‘Decided not to participate in that scheme. The daily complimentary breakfast went downhill from day one.. ‘Running out of Milk for cereal… No orange juice, available on many days.. Lack of monitoring the countertops and tables for cleanliness. AND completely locked out (within their defined hours), on two mornings..

Inexpensive but you get what you pay for. Breakfast offered does not include any hot food (like eggs, bacon, etc.). Room looks like it’s been a while since it’s been updated. Service isn’t great. Bed was comfortable and did get a good night sleep though the room had an odd smell.
