While the stay was comfortable our car was broken into the in the early morning hours. The hotel made no effort to notify any of the guests that there had been break ins. We heard about it from the person managing the breakfast area. The only thing the hotel could say was they let the police know when someone told them and while they have cameras all around the property apparently no one was watching this cameras.

Check in was easy. Free parking a plus. Breakfast was very good. Room was clean and comfortable. Only problem we encountered was that our TV did not work the first night. The desk attendant came and tried to fix it but couldn’t. The maintenance man wouldn’t be able to come until the following day. The desk attendant said they would give us a $40 credit on our stay for the inconvenience. We booked and pre-paid through Hotels.com so I guess we’ll never see the credit. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would return in the future.

We were traveling through Nashville and wanted to stay close to the Opry. This is a perfect place. Well taken care of Hotel. Breakfast was really good. Renee was working the Breakfast area and she was the highlight of the trip. Just such a warm person and cared about the people. Hard to find someone who can interact with others in a personable way. The room was great. The pool was great. Parking was safe and well lit. Overall a definite 5 of 5 stars.

The continental breakfast was decent, the swimming pool was great. The fitness room needed a bit updates and the lights there turned off every half hour automatically even people were in there.

Horrible place to stay. Car window broken due to teens looking for cash and guns. About 13 vehicles. Hotel staff states they get paid to check people in not watch cameras. Management tried to say it was just 7 cars. I counted them when we got out there and it was 13 and some had already left. No warning what so ever. Got out to car and other people who had broken windows told us. And the kicker. This was not the first time GM refused to talk to me and the Asst manager was a jerk. Said he doesn’t know what security does when they are there. Calling BS on that one. HORRIBLE place to deal with.

Had to be moved to a different room after the first night due to the musty smell. A/C was not working correctly and putting out so much water that our hanging clothes in closet were wet. New room was better but not great. Carpet throughout hotel is very dirty. Would never stay there again.

The staff was so nice, but the room I was given was unacceptable. The walls were filthy with something splattered on them around the trash can areas. The couch smelled so badly of urine. The air conditioning/heat didn’t work at all. The television remote didn’t work and was sticky. The bathtub was clogged and didn’t drain while showering. There was a beeping smoke alarm in the hallway that I could hear all night. The provided hair dryer looked like it had melted at some point. The free breakfast was okay, until we noticed roaches crawling on the tables. I realize this is not a five star hotel, but I at least expect a little more cleanliness.

Room spacious , clean and comfy bed albeit dated in decor. Main stair carpets filthy - easy to get a cleaning ! Breakfast excellent all three days. Staff do not appear happy at work except one member at breakfast this morning who was very obliging and friendly . Staff in general very poor in terms of hospitality , no greetings , smiles and not very forthcoming with info.

The Wi-Fi was virtually non-existent in the room. When I went to the reception desk the strength of connection improved by immediately dropped when leaving the area. It never worked properly or consistently while there. This was the single BIGGEST downside of the property. The TV is not a Smart TV, the remotes are archaic, the printed channel listing was not related to the online listing of channels. The bed mattress was very soft and clearly well worn past the date of good quality. the jacuzzi tube did not work at all. The breakfast was good and the breakfast staff were terrific, personable, and helpful with information about sites to visit. The location was excellent for access to the Opry House and show. The price for the room was excellent. The room was a large suite and given the shortcomings listed above, acceptable. I would however be willing to pay more for more upgraded amenities, a firm mattress, working WiFi in the room, and a SMART TV.

They upgraded our room but stuck us right by the elevator. It ran constantly until after 4am. If they had told me that it was going to be beside the elevator I would have refused it but I felt like I was stuck with it. I didn't get any sleep until after 4am because it ran constantly then right back up before 6am when it started again. There should be a way to make it quiter or have a time that it is shut down. In reality I should have gave it a 0 because when I said something about it nobody cared.

The room was very clean, bigger than I expected with a couch and desk. It felt like an apartment rather than a hotel room. I felt very comfortable and safe. I didn’t hear a lot of noise from other guests and enjoyed a peaceful stay. Everyone I met working the desk in the lobby was very kind and welcoming, always offering a smile when they saw me walk by. The breakfast was excellent too, several options were offered for foods and drinks. It truly was an excellent stay, and I would consider staying again next time I’m in Nashville!

The room was great except for the thermostat, which was locked at 66° but felt much hotter than that. There was also no exhaust fan in the bathroom, so it felt like a sauna. This may be a minor inconvenience for some, but I was uncomfortable the entire 3 days of my trip.

We had a terrible experience with this hotel. We had reserved three rooms for a family trip. One had a broken air conditioning and it was the beginning of August. They did nothing to help. Another room had a foul odor like mold smell. We asked for an extra blanket or bedding in order to use the pullout bed in the room and we were treated terribly. We were told they don’t do that and then we were questioned on the amount of people in our room. We only had 4 like we had stated in our reservation. Too make matters worse we were over charged $100 per room on our card statement and had to call to get it fixed. They were very rude and very dishonest as well as not accommodating no at all. We were supposed to stay one more night but opted to lose the $400 because they refused to cancel our rooms that we were supposed to use 2 days later. I would NEVER reccomend this hotel to anyone. I have also lost my trust in hotels.com after being told one thing and not having it happen. They were not much help when we called and it was very hard to get in touch with a live agent. I am so frustrated after this trip.

Sara at checkout was "in a mood".... Asked for a receipt for our stay and she said "you booked thru a 3rd party. Get it from them.". Asked her for a receipt re incidental charges and she did her best to say nothing was charged and she couldn't print it. We wanted a receipt to prove that since they had a copy of our credit card. After continually refusing.... She finally printed it, slapped it on the counter and said snarkly "See. Told you nothing was charged." and gave me a nasty look and rolled her eyes.

From the moment we walked in until we left has been awesome. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. The front desk staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. Sara and David greeted us every time they saw us. They were all smiles. Renee our lady in the kitchen had breakfast very hot and fresh. Renee made us feel like we were eating in her kitchen in her home. Thank you Best Western !!!

I was charged $100 for my service dog “barking” yet he never barked at anyone. When I spoke with the manager his story changed multiple times and was even told this “barking” was on camera but when asked to see the video all of a sudden it was just video of us going in and out of our room. They made up a lie and tried charging me for something that never happened.

Had an upstair room that overlooked the river. The room was nice and spacious, plenty of room for sleeping, working and lounging. Breakfasts were well supplied by a courteous and hardworking lady. Very convenient drive to the Convention center and to the freeway to downtown.

The hotel was very, clean, quiet, comfortable bed and I didn’t have to get back in much traffic to get to the Grand Ole Opry. This is a very resonable priced hotel close to Opry Mills Mall. You can go to Dave and Buster’s, The Aquarium Restaurant and many other restaurants, besides shopping.

The property and rooms were fine, but nothing special. The hotel is not as convenient to walk as hotels closer to the Gaylord Resort. It is dark at night and there are not always sidewalks.
