In such bad shape! One elevator the three nights we were there. Every machine in the gym out of service or broken in some way, and no room cleaning our entire stay, even after specifically asking for it.

The room was nice, fitting our needs, what I liked most was a little thing, but there was two window shades, I like to sleep in late while I’m on vacation, most hotels barely have window coverings. I was told the breakfast was very good, I used the fitness center, it was nice. There was plenty of parking which was a good thing because there was a lot people staying there and the room was very quiet. We ate at barbecue place next door, it was very good. The down side of the stay was the swimming pool was closed (very green water), and they had no idea when it would open.

Online scheduling was a Bait and switch tactic on pricing. No Hand soap in the bathroom. Left instructions for a wake up call but no call came in. Could not call the desk from the room. BUT having to pay for parking took the CAKE, $42 dollars to park one small car. I was not informed of this ridiculous parking charge till after check in. Never in my life have I paid a Parking fee while rooming at a Hotel . To name it Park Happy ? Another joke, you got me. Several people were also very unhappy about Park Happy. Never Again.

Our room was dirty, and had a foul smell. We politely complained and the front desk host came to look at the room, she instantly said “I detect a smell.” She apologized and “upgraded” us to a King suite. We had a suite with two queens, so it really wasn’t a difference. The new room smelled normal, and was cleaner than the first. However, there were still stains all over the carpet and frayed strands several inches long in numerous spots. This hotel is very run down, and not being kept up. Also, even tho they have their own parking lot you have to pay a 3rd party to park at a cost of $25. Very disappointed and we hardly slept.

Broken elevator and I’m ADA. Dirty. Blood on pillows. Called Expedia and they failed to handle the situation and get me a refund. We left two days early only staying the one night. I was told that there should be no problem getting a refund by Expedia and Hampton. I never got the refund and everyone dropped the ball on resolving this for me.

The good things were, the bed was comfortable - the pillows were not. The hot water was hot and came on immediately. It was relatively quite on our floor. The bad things - the front entrance is literally falling down and blocked off. The bathroom had what seemed like bleach all over the walls. Looked atrocious and i just wonder if someone was murdered in there. The carpet was filthy. The comforter had stains on it. The breakfast was sub-par. I was very disappointed!!

Good location by Vanderbilt, easy access to Broadway. Room showed signs of age and damage and generally needed updated/ maintenance. Cleanliness was lacking and only one elevator was working.

While the room was fairly clean, the dining area was a mess. Almost didn't want to eat. No one was cleaning the tables or cleaning around the buffet. Even the front lobby had popcorn on the carpet all around the popcorn machine even though it was 1am. Only 2 of the ice machines worked and one of the two was dirty ice. Overall the hotel had a run down feel. was kind of sad. Unless there are changes I would not opt for staying here again.

My grandson was in Vanderbilt Children's Hospital and the hotel is close by...Unfortunately, our room was dirty. Hair on the bathroom floor...not just a strand, quite a bit. Corners of tub were dirty and the shampoo/conditioner bottles provided were broken. Beds were not comfortable - not that I expect hotel beds to be great, but these were close to horrible. Just not a great experience.

Upon check in I was informed my room wasn’t ready and would be in 20 mins. Needless to say when I returned the front desk associate could not find my reservation and became frustrated. I showed her my Expedia confirmation number and she still could not find the reservation. After about 15 minutes another young working along with her did not acknowledge me nor state I will assist and found the reservation. Once the reservation was found in the system I was informed no rooms available and it would be an additional 20 to 30 minutes. This was completely unacceptable. I asked for a manager or sup several times and no one attempted to get a manager or sup. Miraculously she stated you will be on the 4th floor in 421 and asked for my ID and credit card. Once in the room I was so disappointed! The room was NASTY! I had to clean the toilet and shower. There was no room service or fresh towels provided. I had to ask for towels several times only to be informed each time they were out of towels or they were in the dryer. I will never stay in a Hampton Inn or this property in the future or recommend it. The hotel was not clean and had a funny odor. I’m so disappointed. I would love a refund for my stay.

This hotel was okay. We paid $150 for a standard room during a weekday. For that price, I had kind of expected the room to be in a little bit better condition. The carpet over near the AC was ripped in areas. The shower floor had a noticeable general brown stain to it from repeated use. Upon arriving to our room, the AC was not working. I did appreciate their prompt response in sending maintenance up to fix the problem. The maintenance worker was great, however, the quick fix resulted in us being unable to use the wall thermostat and therefore took away the auto feature, causing us to have to run the AC all night which did make the room a little too cold. I think one of the more disappointing aspects of this hotel was the unexpected $25 charge to park one vehicle in their lot. I do wish that that would have been more clear and upfront during the booking process. I definitely do not think that the hotel stay was worth a total of $175.

The rooms were clean, but outdated. The bathroom sink made a glug glug glug sound that wasn’t pleasing in the middle of the night. The microwave made a weird sound when running. We smacked and it stopped for awhile. The worst part was parking. We had to pat $35.00 plus tax per night. You have to look hard on the hotel info to see it. They use a separate app for parking. What made us mad about the parking situation was the fact that it was the Hampton Inn parking lot. We have never had to pay to park in the actual hotel parking lot. The breakfast was very good though!

Property is in a great location for our needs. Our family opted for the room with the kitchen/livingroom which gave us plenty of room to spread out. Room was clean and ready on time. Breakfast options were good with enough choices. Beds were comfortable as was the sofa pullout bed considering it is a pullout. All in all we would stay there again.

Avg clean. Bed hard as a rock. Room hot and humid even with temp @64 F. Wake up at 2am and carpet was saturated wet obviously from poor drainage from ac unit. Info desk staff at daylight. Recieved zero compensation or satisfaction to complaint. Other hotel visitors stated they had similar experience with room change. Will never stat again.

Very nice, friendly team. The room was clean (minus a small stain on the comforter). The property needs common area updates and a freshen up. We had a good stay overall but the property in its current condition isn't a $330 per night hotel, IMO.

Mostly everything was great, clean, and modern. However, for booking a suite, and paying the higher price it was disappointing. The mattress must have been repurposed from a road side Motel 6, and was just plain uncomfortable. The shower drain was just completely clogged, and mostly every knob or faucet that moved was loose. The windows were glazed over due to exterior renovations, so there was no view. Overall, I wish I just saved the money and booked a cheaper room with some sort of view, or just went else where.

Bed was uncomfortable and hard. Don’t understand why handicapped rooms are so far from elevators. Was able to adjust room temperature for our liking. Breakfast is appetizing.

The staff had terrible attitude. Even the property manager didn’t care about anything I asked. Just kept saying we booked through Expedia so nothing sh could do to make our stay comfortable. No hot water but she didn’t care. Lobby chairs are so old the cushions had no cushion. We had what appeared to be urin stains on our bedding but she didn’t care.

Showed up at 3pm to check in and the ladies working the front desk were extremely rude. Said they were overbooked and none of the rooms were ready yet. We had to wait an hour and a half before our room was available. The room wasn't stocked with towels and wash clothes once we got to it. There was a gentleman at the front desk that ended up waving our parking fee because of our wait though. He was probably the only friendly employee there that we spoke to.

I booked 5 suites over 6 months ago. I reduced that number by 1 just over a month ago due to family changes. This was to attend a graduation event. The day started at 1pm when i tried to check into the four rooms. I was told they were not which made sense, given the official check in time of 3pm. I was also told about "air conditioning problems" in at least one of the rooms at this time. So we went to eat and tried again at 2:45. This time, we were told that the some of the rooms were not ready specifically because of the air conditioning issue and

We had problems with our room and had to change rooms 3 times. Carpet in first room was badly stained. AC in second room didn't work. The only room left for us was a handicap room and the shower head was too low and fell apart. Front desk and maintenance were both very friendly and helpful. The Manager was not.

The whole check in process was amazing!!!stress free, easy and quick. We ran into a lil snafu booking through expedia not informing us of all our responsibilities while accepting our reservation online, but Keesha and Derrick were absolutely amazing!!!!! They remedied our issue quietly, quickly and so very professionally. I am grateful for their awesome hospitality. Everything about this hotel was clean, quiet, welcoming and comfortable. On a side note, their showers are amazing, lol. If you ever stay here please shout out to Keesha and Derrick and I hope this hotel knows how lucky they are to have them. Thanks for a great stay!!!! Breakfast employee is horrendous came down at 930 she was cleaning up and putting breakfast away and i asked will more stuff be coming out she said no breakfast starts at 6 am and we dont replacewhat was already taken !@@ i have stayed in many hamptom inns never had any breakfast issues they usually full and wait until 10 am to start cleaning up.
