Holiday Inn Express Nashville Downtown

Everything was great but charging $55.00 A DAY to park a vehicle in your garage is outrageous that is taking advantage of the parking situation.

The room was clean, bed firm, shower pressure weak, and slow elevators. 1 of 3 out of service the entire stay. We liked happy hour in the lobby and what they provided with food. Breakfast bar was great! Overall, give it a 4/5 rating.

Had a trouble free stay Holiday Inn Express Nashville Downtown - Broadway. Check in was easy and convenient, breakfast was awesome, room was comfortable and clean. Gym could use some revamping. Hotel was a 10 minute walk from the Honky Tonks and a 5 minute walk from Whole Foods (grocery store). Would recommend to others and would stay here again.

We didn’t like that the pool wasn’t open since I booked it for that reason and it wasn’t specific at the time of booking.

Very convenient for Broadway and The Gulch. Beds were super comfy and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was decent and the manager's reception at 4pm was a great touch for a quick snack. The shower pressure was awful and the "automatic" blind did not work so we had to choose either too light or too dark! The window didn't open at all which made the room a little stuffy.

Pool was great!

Clean, comfortable room, wonderful staff - from valet to check in, but a little sticker shock on the $55 valet as the only local parking option.

Overall the stay was nice and clean. For me, $75 a day for incidentals was a bit high and $55 a day for parking was also a bit high. Breakfast was good but the bar is only open Wednesday - Thursday. If I had made a call to get info on these things I could have planned better but overall, it was decent.

The area was decent, although don’t cross the bridge towards the 7-11 at night. The pool area was okay but the pool itself was filthy. Towels were always out and rarely stocked. The stay overall was good. Front desk staff and breakfast area staff were quite friendly.

The hotel was walkable to downtown Nashville and really close to the airport. The free breakfast was amazing, so many choices. The pool was great, but needs more cushions for the chairs and more umbrellas, it was really hot and the pool was crowded. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The bathroom has horrible ceiling damage with mold and the floor all the way around the bathroom is nasty and coming apart. The ceiling above the beds looks like it’s about to collapse at any time. The walls in the room look like they’ve been drawn on and the baseboards need to be replaced. The blind has holes in it The frames on the beds are falling apart I paid $304.00 and I expected a nice room but instead I got a room that needs a complete renovation. This room definitely is not worth $304.00

Very clean hotel with very friendly staff. Walkable to downtown Nashville. Great breakfast in the morning and the pool was also nice. Rooms were very comfortable.

This location is very convenient. Quick walk to the strip on Broadway. Also a nice walk to Music Row. Staff is very friendly and eager to help. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Excellent water pressure in the shower and very comfortable bed. We’ll be returning.

Room floor needed a good vacuum We had a room on the street size and was very noisy Breakfast was the same offerings everyday

The bathroom tub was not really clean. The shower took time to get warm. The staff were ok. I have been to way better holiday inn expresses this one by far way the worst.

We got the wrong rooms. We paid for king rooms they gave us two double rooms which caused issues. The floors were sticky and dirty and the pool was disgusting.

French fries on the floor of our room upon arrival took hrs to get cleaned up. Staff was very friendly

I like the free breakfast. Very good with eggs and turkey sausage each day. I like that the motel was on Broadway right where we needed to be, very convenient. I did not like that the bathroom was fifty. Lots of what looked like mold and bath mat had a gob of someone else hair. We told the manager that, nothing was done. It took the second request with someone else for housekeeping to clean the bathroom. Mold came back. That can make someone else sick be they did not seemed too concerned about it

The outlets were hanging from the walls. There was a huge cockroach that came falling out of the vent into our make up bag.

Pros: clean, good breakfast, good location Cons: Very poor wifi (doesn't connect on upper floors, so had to change rooms multiple times until I get one on 2nd floor), not-so-professional staffs (blaming customer's device for their own faulty facility).

The hotel was great. Bed was very comfortable, daily housekeeping, friendly employees, a good walk to Broadway. However, walls are thin. We heard neighbors tv and music and a man coughing. Outside across the street at the other hotel, construction started at 4 am and would wake us every day. No fault of Holiday Inn Express just our recent experience.

After walking around Nashville all day Wednesday, we get back to the hotel and there is no hot water in our room. I alerted the front desk and they said it was being fixed. But it wasn’t great to not have hot water to shower for hours!

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Nashville and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel had plenty of amenities available which was convenient in case you forgot anything. The lobby was roomy and inviting. The complimentary breakfast was great with plenty of options. We did run into an issue with the hot water during our stay. The staff explained there was a problem with the boiler’s float and although it was fixed the water temperature afterward swung from scalding hot to freezing cold which made showers a bit of a challenge. Thankfully it did not overshadow the rest of the stay too much. The property itself was clean, comfortable, and in a great location only about an eight minute walk right to Broadway. With the water issue aside it is a solid choice for anyone visiting Nashville.

Room was great, breakfast had a large variety of options, and the staff was very friendly. Only negative is that the street noise can be quite loud at times and can be heard in the rooms.

Honestly we spent the worst night of our life in this property. The noise of the street is terrible and people didn't respect at all the quiet during the night in the corridor. Soundproofing in desperate need of revision. We thought we d sleep with the window open

The rooms air conditioning unit made noise all night long. Just when i would fall a sleep it would start knocking again.

It was loud in our room because our room was close to the highway. The shower wouldn’t get hot. They were quick to try to fix it but it didn’t get hot. It was warm. I appreciate the warm breakfast and appetizers for happy hour. Overall, I would stay here again.

There was nothing special about this property. Staff wasn't necessarily rude but also not particularly friendly when we first arrived. Elevators had nothing but issues the whole time we were there. Only thing I would say was above average was the comfort of the beds.

We were able to check in an hour early, staff made checking in and parking car super easy. The location is perfect if you're wanting to be close to all the bars on Broadway.

First I put the housekeeping door tag on requesting no housekeeping services only to come back to my room and find it had been returned inside my room and housekeeping came inside despite my request. Had I known someone was going to be in my room without me there then I would have put my valuables in the safe, etc. Secondly, at checkout I was offered either a printed receipt or an email copy of my receipt. I requested an email copy to submit for reimbursement to my employer for the hotel expenses. I did not receive a receipt. I called the hotel twice requesting a receipt and on the second call was told I could not be provided a receipt because I booked through Hotels.com and would need to contact Hotels.com for a receipt. A colleague on the same business trip requested a printed receipt at check out and was provided a receipt. I always book my hotel stays through Hotels.com and have NEVER been told by a hotel that they could not provide me a receipt by email. If a receipt can be printed and provided at checkout then the same receipt can be sent by email. This is poor customer service and information that should have been provided at checkout. The receipt from Hotels.com shows charges but does not show payment and instructs the user to contact the hotel for the final receipt.

staff was friendly, great location, rates T “okay” because our room was not cleaned once in 3 days. The first day we told them not to worry about because we were in and out all day. but it was not cleaned the other two days. our last day we actually went to the front desk at 4:30 pm and asked why it wasn’t cleaned, or at least the bed made and new towels provided, and they said it would be cleaned by the time we returned ed from dinner. We returned after midnight and the room was still not cleaned.

Staff is absolutely top tier!!!! I'm actually blown away how well we were treated from front desk to management to housekeeping to valet. Genuinely good and fun! We didn't want to leave. Thank you for everything!!!!!!

Check in was at 4pm. We got there at 7pm and room still wasn't ready so had to sit there for 30 minutes waiting on our room. The staff is super friendly and the place is very nice overall. This was our second time there and we will definitely be back

My stay started off very pleasant, the staff was super friendly, the free breakfast was really good. On my last night I asked the front desk lady what options I had as I was flying out the next night and check out was at 11am. She told me I could ask for a late check out which would have me checking out at 5 pm for an additional $75. I was happy to hear that the next morning after having breakfast I went back to the front desk to ask about getting that late check out and the lady Yvette looked at me like I was crazy with an attitude asked me how late was I trying to check out I said well the girl said 5 she kind of smirked and said the latest you can check out is at noon proceeded to say they had a really big group coming in. Why wouldnt the lady from the night prior tell me that to begin with that it was something I could do IF there was availability. Now while they can hold your luggage when I checked out the same lady Yvette then with attitude said " You can check with her and see IF there is any room available " I couldnt wait to leave the hotel and unfortunately had to stick around in the lobby for 4 hours until it was time to head out to the airport. Also be aware upon checking in they will charge an additional fee which they say will be refundable but as I am reading other reviews it looks like they keep some of it. Yeah I will probably never go back

Had an excellent stay for four days, Julaina was amazing and took great care of us.

The staff was amazing - friendly and professional - especially Jolene!! Room was clean. Breakfast was great! The singer you had in the bar - Melanie Lenau was amazing!!! Walking distance to great restaurants and bars. Will definitely stay here again next time I am in Nashville.

10 out of 10 and a 3 min walk from the beginning of broadway. Great food truck right outside and across the street from the frist museum. Cant really ask for more especially at this price.

Friendly staff, walking distance to Broadway and Gulch area. Good breakfast. We utilized the valet parking and were glad we did. Front desk staff was helpful and great to work with. Would definitely stay here again on a return visit to Nashville!

The employees at the front desk were all extremely nice and helpful!!! The outside noise from the street and construction from across the street was loud in the early mornings.

Only thing that would have been nice would have been some available food at the hotel like pizza or burgers in house. Everything else was really good!

This is a great location to walk to Broadway. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was a big hit so much to choose from. We will for sure be staying there again when visiting Nashville.

Flew in for a concert at Bridgestone Arena. The location was ideal, close enough to walk but not too close where concert traffic would be an issue. The staff for breakfast were wonderful and attentive. Only small complaint i have is maybe move the tea bags near to the hot water vessel in the other room, or at least have a selection of teas there.

Excellent Hotel with amazing Hotel Staff. The breakfast (included with your stay) offered lots of choice. The evening Social hour (also included) was a nice touch. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable.
