Great comfortable convenient extended stay hotel. Room, was well equipped. Restaurants and shops close by car but not walkable. No pool, but given the price and being an extended stay, it was understandable.

For the price you pay, this place is great. Friendly staff, free laundry machines to use, basic gym, and clean rooms with a kitchen that includes utensils and extras. The only downside is their WiFi speed -- calling it slow is an understatement. Even while the hotel wasn't busy, the best I could get is 5mbs. That's barely enough to watch a YouTube video at decent quality. So if that's important to you, might want to look elsewhere. But for everything else? These guys do the basics perfectly 👍

Bed was clean but mattress wore out. Had coffee maker but no cups. Not even a plastic cup in bathroom. No ice machine but had ice maker in fridge BUT turned off. Location was surrounded by homeless but did have security.

This place is a joke. The elevator was broken, and the front desk lady was nasty about it. She put me on the top floor, and directed me to stairs that were the opposite side of the hotel from my room. The room was HOT. There was clearly something wrong with the central air, and the widow unit in this one bedroom "suite" was insufficient to cool the bedroom.

I liked that it was by the freeway, clean, very good blockout curtains. I didn’t like the addition charges. Parking fee and laundry fee. The price should be the price with everything included.

A few issues prevented us from enjoying our stay here, from the beginning when we checked in the fridge was not fully cleaned out with a leftover water bottle and beers. We were missing some kitchen dishware such as glasses. Bathroom was not clean and there were hairs in the bathtub. On our 4th night, our room door key reader malfunctioned, we had spent about 20 minutes having this resolved by maintenance and afterwards the reader still was not working which prevented us from getting back into our room when necessary. The gym did not have any towels available any of the days that I visited. A fire alarm had gone off on 4 different occasions during the day. The front desk did not have any toothpaste available for sale or complimentary. The rooms are renovated and okay, they don't smell, I guess that's an upside. The location is pretty bad unless you plan to drive all the time, no restaurants within a reasonably short distance, everything is over a mile away.

The room was very dirty and old and smelled so bad, there was a sock stuffed in the AC unit, hair in the shower, smelled terrible, old room and falling apart, also refrigerator did not work. Water drain issue in tub. Pretty terrible but works as a crash pad , cheap and short stay. I have to say though customer service was on point employees are outstanding, you can tell they are working on these sort of issues.

The days I was there, no one cleaned the room, even I had to take out the garbage and give it to the cleaning staff because the garbage in the room was already 2 days. I found dog feces in the hallway

I've stayed at this hotel twice and I encountered issues both times. There was a live cricket in our restroom light, which isn't so bad when you consider that it can't get out, but it was still a little gross and annoying having to hear it jump around and chirp from within. I brushed it off as just a one-time thing, but there was ANOTHER cricket in our restroom light this past visit. And we were in a completely different room on a different floor! Also, our bathtub wasn't draining the water correctly, so after about showering for 10 minutes or so, the tub would be completely full and we had to manually lift the drain up until the water very slowly, eventually washed away. It was really inconvenient. There was also no hand soap both times I visited, so we had to use the dish soap from the kitchenette area. All of this aside, I cannot commend the staff enough. Everyone I had the pleasure of speaking to was very polite and professional. They really make you feel welcomed. The staff's amazing customer service was definitely the highlight of our visit. I just wish the property was a bit cleaner and that maintenance would take a look at the bathrooms, because it seems like several rooms have drainage problems according to other reviews. All in all, our two visits weren't terrible, but I'm unsure of whether we'd return.

Facility was a little out dated. Room was clean. My main issue was that the bathrub did not drain fast. I would run the water and within a min, the water would be up to my ankle. I also saw a roach while I was walking out to check out.

This could have easily been a seedy gross hotel, but it was honestly so nice for what you pay for. Parking was easy, conveniently located, the room was clean, and having a full fridge was a nice addition. If you’re looking for a luxurious hotel experience this isn’t the spot. If you’re looking for affordable, having your necessities covered, and a clean room this is the place.

Stayed for one night to attend a concert in the area. The exterior is rough, but the interior feels modern. The room I stayed at was clean and the bed was nice, better than the one I have at home. You can tell they recently renovated the rooms. The staff was polite and helpful. Next time I come here I'll get a room that's facing away from the highway traffic, and if you are sensitive to outside noise while trying to sleep, I suggest doing the same.

The staff was incruduble. We were able to check in early, which was great after for traveling for several hours and in heavy traffic. The hotel was as advertised. It had a very convenient kitcenette with a full-size fidge. The bathroom was roomy and the shower was awesome. This location was perfect for all the places we visisted during our stay.

I checked in, went to my room, opened the door, only to find that somebody else was already in my room. I asked him how long he had been in the room, and he said that he had checked in two hours prior. THEY GAVE AWAY MY ROOM, and I had to find out about it by opening the door on some naked guy. They gave me a substandard room as a replacement, and eventually found another room like the first, but this was total incompetence in running a hotel.

The place was nice / cute, although some upkeep is needed (paint in bathtub is coming off which looked really unpleasant). And although it is nice inside, the area is really concerning. Its a nice hotel in a really bad area. I do appreciate them keeping our cars safe though.

Clean enough. Right off the freeway, so not much to do close by, except we discovered St. Elmo Brewing in the neighborhood on our second day. The neighborhood just to the east is pretty rundown.

For the money you pay, I don’t think you shall expect more. You have a car, you can cook, it is right on ih35, 4 miles to Austin downtown, 30 miles to San Marcus, you want spend a few days with your family in this area, this hotel’s suites are just on the money I should say.

Not close to any place to eat or have a coffee. Parking fee in such a location is egregious. Parking was plentiful. Coffee and snacks were substandard. Staff is poorly trained. Rooms were good, clean, and quiet. TV did not allow for streaming via phone.

We had a great stay at the Sonesta Simply Suites in Austin, Tx. It was a great central location to all of the places we went during our stay. The room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, however it was very hot during our stay. It appears the A/C unit was not working properly. There was no breakfast on property, however you have your own full kitchen. They charge a daily fee for parking, which was not communicated. Overall, it was a nice enough and safe place to stay.

Terrific front desk folks. Loved the room with kitchen. Bed and shower were good. Wifi was ok but not perfect. Rooms are not made up during you stay, which was disappointing. Even every second day would have been fine. They sell basic food items in the lobby, but there is nothing within walking distance.

Really liked the room being as i was traveling alone. The kitchenette with the full size fridge was super convenient. The water pressure was great in the shower and the bed was very comfortable. The only thing missing from the place was a sort of breakfast like most other hotels but again, kitchen with fridge. Just made breakfast myself. If Sonesta suites are like this in other locations i will mak3 them a first choice option. Not sure how it would go with family, but for just me or me and the wife, i would pick this establishment.

Clean comfortable room. Loved that pets can stay as if they are also a guest and cleaning services can be defered for at least a week allowing for privacy. Great suites with supplies needed to cook food. No ovens but counter stove top is great. Love the timer safety feature. Enjoyed a dedicated area for pet walks. Did not ise gym or laundrh but facilities look good. Vending machine/ canteen prices high. Parking costs $5.00 a night. That seems a bit much when you are a paying guest. They have a gated parking lot and security, but with the cost of the room I was not expecting parking to cost more.
