Great place to stay off the highway and close to everything! Front desk personnel are awesome! They are friendly, helpful and explain everything in detail. Room was clean and comfortable. The only negative was the pool was a bit dirty, but a nice gentleman got the net and scooped up as much leaves as he could. Also, the jacuzzi does not work. Water is hot but no jets. :(

The hotel was very unique with its decor and pool area and the whole design. It was difficult getting into the parking lot at night because our GPS kept trying to take us to the back entrance that was closed.

Clean with a nice pool and hot tub area. It was a bit confusing to drive to the first time. It's close to the highway sonits convenient to get around but not walkable to most tourist places. Free parking and breakfast make up for that for me.

there was a HUGE cockroach in the ceiling this morning when we woke up. hotel smelled like dirty wet carpet. staff was amazing! it’s not their fault that our stay wasn’t great! they actually recommended the restaurant next door which we loved. hotel was overall old and smelly. we will not be going back

The attached restaurant was under renovation and the staff has no idea when it will be completed. The floor in our bathroom was dirty upon arrival. I told the front desk to have the cleaning service just come the next day. They came….and the floor still had crumbs on the floor after they left.

This hotel does not live up to its star rating. There were several roaches in the bathroom in the middle of the night. The fold out sofa bed in the King Suite was so uncomfortable that our daughter was unable to sleep on it. The room did not have adequate seating for a room advertised as big enough for three people. Overall a bad experience.

Half of the rooms in this hotel room are run of the mill motel rooms where the entrance is outside. Our room smelled like mildew and there were cockroaches. There was no elevator to my room and I had bags and a toddler. The front desk was nice enough but they took a long time and made me stay at the desk while he read an entire sheet of paper to me that he was giving me and I could have read myself while my toddler was fussy and needed to go to sleep.

Everything was nice and clean except the room was had a musty damp smell. The carpet was dirty, my feet had to be washed walking on the carpet. Other than that the place overall was very cute. Definitely need to clean those carpets in the room.

The place is cute. Double beds. The beds are soft. If you need a firmer mattress do not stay here. After 2 night, mine and my husbands backs are in terrible pain. There was a roach smashed between our clean towels. One set of towels had the dead roach the other side had some of the remnants of the body. The management didn’t do much, and didn’t seem to care. They asked if we wanted to change rooms and then another person said that’s a Texas summer. I’ve been all around the world, first roach. The breakfast was blah blah blah. Motel breakfast. And there was a roach by the restrooms.

Ehat a neat little property. It was super quiet, clean and the bed was confortable. It's an older propertt, but renovated and well maintined. The pool and hot tub were fantastic. What a gem! We will be back.

Somethings I didnt like: the gates around the property were closed off and you could only enter from the one way street off the highway. This made it challenging for a Lyft to pick us up. House keeping was so loud in the morning. It woke me up after a night out. The walls are thin. Other than those things, everything was perfect.

The room was clean and comfortable with one minor exception. The mattresses both had very sagging edges on the common side. With the rather tall position of the beds, the soft edge made it feel as if I was likely to fall off if I didn't stay near the center of the mattress. The "off" sides of the mattresses were still firm but somewhat inaccessible due to the proximity of the bathroom wall on one and furniture close the other.

It was an average boutique hotel. Only bad thing about it was our room had poor temperature and humidity control. Each room was ventilated by a window-unit AC. It felt sticky and warm in the room at all times, even with AC going and fan blowing.

Our Aunt stayed here for a week. This is the second time she has stayed at this property. She is in a wheelchair and the distance from her room to the restaurant was impossible for her to reach on her own. She asked if it would be possible for someone to assist with bringing a her a simple breakfast ( bagel and coffee) in the morning and she was declined. It was a real bummer. Joseph at check in was helpful and overall the people were pleasant but it was a real disappointment that no one was willing to help her with the breakfast request. There is a ramp that leads to the restaurant from the room but it’s all outside and uphill. The distance, difficulty ( hills and doors), and heat prevented her from having breakfast.

We have stayed at the Aiden several times. We’ve always found it to be nice. Tonight was a huge disappointment. Check in took 20 minutes. I was the only guest in the lobby. After finally receiving my keys and making it to my room keys did not work. I returned to the desk and was told they forgot to program the keys. 10 minutes later I finally had access to my room. Only to find it was very hot. I called and asked for a fan, but they did not have any. They did offer to allow me to move rooms, but my elderly parents were not up for another move. Next we discovered that the keurig did not work and the sink did not drain. I’m so bummed! I’ve always enjoyed our stays here in the past. After a long hard day this was not the evening I was hoping for.

Hotel was quiet and clean. While not downtown, a fairly short drive into downtown Austin, and much more affordable than most of the downtown hotel options. Only issue is that the area is not overly walkable--not a lot in the immediate area.

This place was so unique! It was decorated so fun and had stairs all over the place up and down to know you were in Weird Austin. The employees very friendly, the breakfast was good especially the crispy bacon and waffle and the location perfect for sightseeing. The easy chair was lumpy but outdoor pool made up for it. Slept in a comfy bed and it was nice and quiet.

Honestly one of my favorite hotels! Yes it’s an older property but everything was well maintained and the amenities were awesome! We especially loved the nespresso machine that could make us hot chocolate or lattes on demand! And the sushi restaurant attached was 5 star. We are definitely coming back asap!

Noise was awful as facing hwy 35 in our room. Sushi restaurant was very good but wished it had a la carte menu as all you can eat only was extremely expensive. Needs other choices. Breakfast was average but with choices, parking is GREAT considering Austin that loves to charge 35 dollars/day at other hotels.

Very nice hotel on service road of southbound I-35; AYCE sushi restaurant connected to it. Good selection of breakfast. The coffee machine in the main area by checkin has much better coffee than in the eating area. Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

I was heading to Austin for the first time and booked this hotel, which had good reviews. However, major weather warnings were posting and I called to ask if it was safe to come. The person at the desk told me they were on a hill and it should be fine. As I was driving there from New Mexico I found out that cars were getting stuck on the road and conditions were horrible. I diverted to Oklahoma City instead but could never get ahold of the hotel for a refund. And hotels.com tried to contact them for a refund, but couldn't even get ahold of them. Seems a bit ridiculous not to give a refund when the weather makes it all but impossible to get to the hotel ...
