Prior requests weren’t taken care of by staff. The key card didn’t work getting in hotel and room. Went twice to front desk for keys to be reactivated and swapped. 3rd floor leak had hallway under construction and made look dirty. Rooms were nothing special. Was nothing special and only stayed 1 night.

Due to Grand Prix in town, hotel rates were INSANE. For the regular price, this hotel is clean and comfortable enough (though the pull out sofa was ridiculous—don’t plan on the suite sleeping more than 1 bed’s worth if you can avoid it). Nice having a full kitchen if needed, and the location was great—walking distance to moody theatre and downtown. If you want amenities, this is likely not the place for you. If practical and affordable is your goal, this will do it for you. Free parking for folks staying there , and pretty low priced for inner Austin. Can you get less expensive? Maybe. Can you get nicer? Certainly, but in my experience visiting Austin, you’ll likely pay double, triple or more—plus daily parking.

Great location and price. Room clean, comfy bed. Although it has a kitchen, you have to ask for kitchen supplies, even cups, I actually liked this , so I knew that all dishes they gave me were clean and sanitized. But it would have been nice to have some dish soap. They have a security guard in the parking area which was nice, felt safe. Big downside was they did NOT have an ice machine.. you had to make it in the freezer,,which then wasn't ready for use. So BRING ICE.

The Staff was very professional and courteous. I arrived a bit early but the Desk Clerk and Maintenance Staff allowed me to work in the common space while they cleared my room for Check-In. I was allowed to Check-In early and get on with my meetings in Austin. There are no grand scale amenities (Hotel Bar, Swimming Pool, Spa, Sauna, etc.) but they offered coffee and light breakfast (Wifi in the room) which allowed me to focus and get on with the business I needed attend to. The Location is Great!

Great location and the day staff is night but anytime later than 10 is becomes a mad house. Full parties til 4am at the side entrances and homeless living in the back. Room didn’t feel very clean. Overall safe and great location but you get what you pay for.

Pros: Room was comfortable and mostly clean. Staff was great. Convenient location, adequate parking. Decent price. Cons: The whole place smelled foul. No coffee maker in room, terrible water pressure. This may be a seasonal issue, but the main entrance is very close to a site where large numbers of homeless people gathered during my stay. At times, they were wandering the halls and lobby. At one point, one of them defecated on the ground outside literally next to the front entrance door, then walked inside looking for a bathroom before being asked to leave.

Property is dirty. Inside of elevator was nasty. All of the carpet was dirty and needed vacuum. The smell of marijana is everywhere in the hotel. There was never anybody at the front desk. They say they offer breakfast from 6:30-9 but it was watered down coffee only and stale breakfast bars.

The hotel is very old and run down. The lobby and hallways smelled really bad. I held my breath getting to my room. Luckily the room did not smell. the interior of the room is very dated and beat up, including the bathroom. I will say the bed seemed okay. I try to spend as little as time as possible in the room. Luckily it was just a 2 night stay.

The location was great and the staff was awesome. The bed was comfy. The kitchen was clean. On the flip side, it smelled horribly of smoke in the room and hallways. The bathroom was not properly cleaned (mold in areas that had not been wiped down for what seems like a while). There were no utensils or plates in the room as these had to be specifically requested. Same for a coffee maker. Overall my main issue was the smell of smoke and the general dingy-ness. The location was great and the staff was really nice and helpful.

The room had an overpowering smell of Fabulosa. It was like someone just dumped a bunch on the floor to cover something up because the floor was still sticky in some areas and slick in others. The room and carpet were damp, and it felt very unsanitary everywhere. The towels had long black hairs on them, as well as on the toilet seat. Overall, I felt gross being in there.

I really loved the location of this hotel, it's super easy to walk to the bridge or walk to South congress.the room was ginormous. The room smelled like wet dog but if you got past that it was worth it. I would stay here again, the price makes sense.

The property is in a great location so that is what I loved the most. But the actual hotel is not so great. Very outdated and beds are super uncomfortable they are Maybey 5” thick spring mattress and hardly any support. There is no breakfast just fiber bar and some fruit

The room was very shabby, no remote, hair dryer broken, dirty carpet and sofa, uncomfortable bed, lots of noise and people shouting in the hall in the middle of the night, light over the bathroom mirror not working so hard to see. This place badly needs an update. Great location and staff was friendly

The room was quite spacious. The kitchenette was convenient. The decor, however is very dated and the rooms could use a refresh with some up to date finishes. The hallways were dark and creepy, with a slight musty smell.

Clean, nothing fancy—perfect for a short stay for business. Just across the bridge from all that downtown has to offer. A little odd that there were not pans, plates, etc in a room with full kitchen. I am an early riser, so no big deal for me, but back if hotel got pretty noisy after 7 am.

The key card to room had to be activated every time I step out. Very old location. Felt like a run down hotel. Representatives at front desk don’t care, not friendly at all. No smile. No Hello how are you .. nothing. My door to my room broken in the bottom. Just pay a lil extra please not worth it at all. There’s no breakfast here neither, just a horrible strong coffee

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel due to location. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. The towels were even soft! The building is older but modern and the location is great for downtown activities. Walking distance to Palmer Event center South Congress (SoCo) shopping district as well as food. I will stay there again next year.

I was quite disappointed with the service I’ve received. It was not genuine and didn’t offer the extra step to help you solve a problem. The pillows were terrible like it didn’t even seem like it was a pillow. The worse part was on my last morning, they forgot to tell me that the water was going to be turned off and I had to use wipes and a face towel instead of being able to take a shower. The hotel overall is fine for the price you’re paying but the quality of service isn’t there.

It seems like the property is understaffed. We had to wait a half hour at check-in time for someone to show up at the front desk to check us in. The employee was very courteous though. When we unlocked the room, it had not been cleaned yet, which was disappointing. The property is worn and could use some updates. The bathroom sink didn't drain. Later when my friend tried to check in with a reservation, they were told they were full. Not the greatest experience.

This stay was absolutely terrible, emailed the corporate office and got no response. Do not stay here.... smells like weed the moment you walk in the door. Pictures are deceiving, the rooms were half updated and half from the 90's, was given 3 rooms before the 4 one wasn't occupied. Just a terrible trip, we didn't even stay the whole night and left at 6am because of how terrible this hotel was.

The team was very kind and helpful and the rooms were very comfortable! The wifi was also quite good for work. The hotel is very close to downtown and to a beautiful park just beside Colorado River. It was a great choice!

Hotel had nothing . No coffee, no breakfast, no phone chargers. Staff was friendly but kinda weird. Hotel where people my live weekly. Entire place smelled like cigarettes. Don’t recommend, especially for $188 for one night !

The hotel has basic amenities and the breakfast was to-go style consisting of muffins, instant oatmeal, bananas, oranges + coffee, which was fine with us. Other than some stained spots on the carpet, the room was clean, the bed was very comfy and very quiet overnight. The kitchenette was a nice extra, especially the fridge which we used for leftovers. The location is awesome and very convenient with easy access to major roads and is close to some of Austin's many attractions. For the price, the suite was a good value.
