Staff advised there would be no housekeeping services for a 3-night stay. We removed our own recycling each day and had to request additional towels, toilet paper and Kleenex from the front desk. The shower floor was dangerously slippery, had no safety bars or soap dish. There was only one towel bar for all the bath/hand towels and the ice machines on our floor had been removed.

This property shows years of deferred maintenance. It is time to remodel the bathrooms and execute a repair and repaint of the facility. More than half of the ( few ) pieces of equipment in the work-out/fitness room were in working condition. finally, the freeze and delayed maintenance of the property landscape/flower beds has left the property looking poorly.

This property is a great value for the price paid. Very clean facility, the area looks and feels safe. Hotel shows some signs of age and lacking some basic amenities, such as the removed ice machines. Would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend- it’s clean and comfortable.

Check-in service was awful. I felt like I had to apologize for checking in. Hotel/room had a smell of damp, waking up to a musky smell was not great. the fitness centre was completely out of action, both treadmills not working and they only had 3 dumbbells. Overall, it wasn't great.

It's kind of dingy. The elevator has an open panel with wires showing and the inspection certificate is outdated and you can tell someone tried to rip it out. Ice machines are all missing. But it's cheap and in a good area so whatever.

Stadf was great. The refrigerqtor wqsn't working but the maintenance man on duty promptly fixed it. The ice machines were not conveniently located. There was only coffee during the breakfast hours. That is one of the reasons i like KaQuinta so much & the treadmills in fitness room zere broken. There was 1 5# weight then jumped to 15# weights. The room was clean but missing some toiletrie items I had forgotten also. Dissqppointed in that. It served my purpose & I had a great nights sleep in their comfy bed.

The gym isn’t very rough shape, both treadmills were not working. They were only a set of 15 pound dumbbells and a loose 45 pound dumbbell.

We were very disappointed by the cleanliness of our room and the rest of the property. Unfortunately we didn't notice right away. Someone else's' hair in the shower and bathroom.late last night we saw a roach in the elevator and this morning a roach in our guest room!!! We left immediately. A few years ago this was a decent property for the price but the halls smell like urine, our door didn't close properly and overall I would encourage others to avoid at all costs. Disappointed.

Clearly an older property which is fine, wouldn't count that against them restroom is where it was most noticeable. Carpet ripped by the bed Again didn't expect excellence that was all acceptable untill I saw a bug under the covers crawling on the bed.

Checking was easy and quick, one of the two key cards worked as we tried to enter the room. Noticed the sheets one of the beds had what looked to be a cigarette burn on it along with some other marks, weird. The toilet was also extremely loud when flushing it, I’ve never heard a toilet so loud. The beds were so so as far as comfort is concerned, I slept fine but my wife said her body was aching in the morning. Another thing I didn’t like was after we’d pass the lobby walking towards the elevator it smelled like dog urine throughout the whole hall way, terrible. Can’t speak to the pool since I didn’t get in, but the courtyard and landscaping looked nice.

My room was musty and moldy. The ac unit dripped to the carpet leaving the carpet wet around the ac unit. I was not feeling well when I came to the property and the condition of the room made my breathing worse. I asked the front desk for a new room and they promptly got me a better room on the 3rd floor that was in better conditions and smelled better and was not moldy. The staff was helpful but not apologetic or sympathetic. They did the minimum which was to put me in a better room. Which was helpful, but I would have appreciated more. Perhaps a discount on my stay or something like else? My do worker had his own room and also found mold on the desk legs and he was feeling his breathing was affected. He also switched rooms and then had a better experience.

Things were ok. My tv didn’t work. The fridge was turned off in the room I didn’t know what was wrong but maintenance came and turned it on but it froze everything I had in the solid and the bed was so uncomfortable

The Wi-Fi is terrible. No password, no login, no security. My laptop security software refused to connect because the site has a bad security certificate. Close to the rest of The Domain, didn't need to rely on car to get around the area. However, there's no sidewalk from the property so you do need to awkward cross 4+ lanes of traffic. Had trouble with the keycard access to the room a couple times. The air conditioning in my unit was LOUD.

The place seemed pretty clean and the staff were pleasant. The AC in the room was noisy but did keep it cool. The WiFi was horrible, and there was strange meat served for breakfast. Ultimately you get what you pay for and I’m sure there are much nicer places in the area….for more money.

Staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. They Just wanted to be on their phone and acted annoyed when I asked for info. Breakfast was awful - coffee and hot water jugs need to go - I was there for 10 minutes pumping to get hot water for tea. There were no "do not disturb" signs or if there were , the staff was too lazy to get them for me. Several back doors did not work so I had to go to front of desk to come and go. Overall this was not a pleasant stay. Which is a shame bc the place is located in a great place and the facility was clean and just what u want when traveling. This is not a luxury hotel however it was a nice place to go to when u are on business or visiting family or area and don\'t want to stay at the hotel the whole time. However the staff needs to go or get an education in hospitality.

When we were given the first room on the first floor it had an extremely bad odor. There was a cleaning lady close by and when we called her to point it out, she totally agreed and suggested that we get another room. When I went to get another room They did not allow me to talk to the receptionist immediately, they had me to get back in line with seven people in front of me which I thought was unreasonable given what we had just gone through. There was no customer service nor an apology for it. In addition, the card keys did not work properly.

The lady behind the counter was terribly rude to our employees when trying to check in. A few nights later, when they were trying to extend the stay another night, she did some typing on her keyboard and then told them they were good to go so they went back to their room to sleep. These guys work through the night and sleep during the day. At 11 am hotel employees were banging on their door to tell them they did not extend their night and needed to come downstairs to pay immediately. No apologies. And when my employee asked to speak to a manager as to why that would happen, the girl told him he would not be in until the next day and just stared at him then said, "so...do you want to check out or what??!" So unnecessarily RUDE! We have several crews and travel a lot for work but we will never stay here again.

Front desk seems to not understand that they are in the hospitality business. Many rooms are run down with paper thin walls and air conditioning units that are incredibly noisy. Upon checkout, the girl at the front desk was incredibly rude and unprofessional when I simply asked for a reciept. I'm not even a picky person and dont have lofty expectations of a La Quinta, but this place was terrible and the staff should be replaced

My recent stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin Near The Domain was disappointing. The room had multiple issues, including a leaky shower faucet, unreliable Wi-Fi, and an A/C unit that made a constant dripping noise throughout the night. Unfortunately, the customer service was equally poor. Of the four front desk staff I interacted with, three were noticeably unhelpful and seemed irritated by even the simplest requests. In one instance, when my brother and I asked about getting towels after waiting an extended amount of time, a front desk staff member responded with, “Y’all about to piss me off”—which was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. The 2 ladies at the front desk were so sweet and helpful. The room we stayed in was nice. They were having bug problems on the first floor which is where we were at first, so they happily moved us up to a different room, with no issues! I would stay here again!

Lobby vents were super dirty. Breakfast was subpar. Bacon was as thin as paper. Coffee needs a lot of work. The room was renovated but they left the shower as it was. Bottom faucet wasn’t installed right. If you pulled the stopper it would come off the wall.

WORST BREAKFAST EVER! Get excited. You will pay 10X the normal price for what looks like a great breakfast. In fact I picked this place because I wanted one for my birthday morning. They stop serving at 9 which makes sense, however at 8:50 AM the room was not packed nor empty. Yet, there was NOTHING LEFT EXCEPT BREAD. Yes, nothing but bread. I politely went to the back to ask the manager in her office to at least put out the paper plates to make waffles? (They took ALL the plates too before 9 AM) She looked me dead in the eye and said "Sorry, clock just turned 9. Looks like you'll just have to walk to whole foods!" I said sadly "But it's my birthday, and I just want something anything would be fine? It's literally only a minute after?" She said "Not my problem." Then she put her big feet on the desk, sat back in her rolling chair and started texting away while on the clock lol? I was upset for myself, but my parents are old, and I got the room for them so they could rest without driving all the way home after the party. My Dad is diabetic. I had to chase the Mexican lady putting all of it away BEFORE 9 AM, to grab a muffin off her cart for me dad to take his insulin shot with because he is diabetic! We did walk to whole foods after wasting $111.00 on a room all so we didn't have to get up to get breakfast, but was denied it by some lazy slob of a front desk associate playing manager or just the cheapest hotel EVER! La Quinta did nothing to fix this issue or hotels.com btw.

Our room was clean and comfortable and our experience with the staff at check-in was outstanding. The only reason for my less than excellent rating is because I found the breakfast less than outstanding. While I really loved the choice of bacon, I would have appreciated some more bread/pastry items and there were no fruit options. I think my main problem is with the layout of the serving line. Everything is spread out all over the place.
