Everything about the room was great, very comfortable and clean. However, we waited 2+ hours to get our car from valet and there were only two attendants getting the cars. I understand they were going as fast as they could, not their fault at all but staffing should've been higher. We requested a refund on the service and were given a partial.

The Valet parking situation was a disaster. It was a big marathon weekend combined with a volleyball tournament and you had one person to valet cars. It took us over an hour to get our car making us late to our tournament. This could have gotten by team disqualified if I hadn't been able to find someone to cover until I got there. Very unprepared for this weekend.

My stay in Austin was great , I believe there are a few things that can worked on . When u first arrive there is valet . The pricing on that is outrageous ,69 dollar's per a day and they don’t have parking for the hotel just the valet . You will have to walk a block or 2 to park in a parking garage near by . We had to run the bath water for 10 minutes for the water to get hot. The tv in the room is basic it’s not a smart tv , like it says on the Expedia app. Other than that the hotel restaurant was great and the prices are reasonable. Staff is so kind . It’s in a very great location. A lot of stuff to do around there .

Beautiful hotel. Very clean. We did not receive any service to the room and I wasn’t sure why as we did not leave anything on the door knob. The parking was terribly expensive however it is valet which is good for that area. And breakfast is $22. The area is just unsafe. It’s worse than the last time I went to Austin. The hotel just happens to be located there. All other parking places were just as expensive. 55-60 a day.

Stayed 2 nights. Our room was not cleaned after the first night. We had no clean towels. I phoned service and asked to have towels brought up. After an hour I phoned again. The woman I spoke with told me that it would be quicker if I went to the front desk and picked them up.

Impossible to get in touch with the desk, broken phone in room so you can’t call down and the phone number provided doesn’t work. Not regular cleaning, expensive parking. Overall it was decent but the lack of ability to ask questions was beyond frustrating. Also a somewhat sketchy area

The lady that checked us in was super sweet and helpful, my room booked was unfortunately somehow not available but she handled the situation very professionally and upgraded our stay at no charge. At check out she was just as sweet!

Our stay at the Austin Courtyard was fine, no major issues. In particular our room was good, just as advertised. Checkin was OK but it would have been helpful to know in advance that valet parking was required and that the valet stand is anarchy. No knock against the hotel; in general downtown Austin is sketchy due to the vagrant problem and this should be taken into account.

The Courtyard by Marriott Austin Downtown/Convention Center is great if you're in Austin for a conference. Its only steps away from the Austin Convention Center, close to many of the food & bar options in downtown Austin. Would recommend.

The hotel was fairly clean and the members of staff were very kind though there some that did not speak English at all, they did their best to accommodate my family and I. However, I rated the area around the property poorly due to the amount of vagrants around the outside of the property.

The location is really convenient if you want to enjoy a night in DT or walking in the morning. However, right now there is a lot of construction outside/close by. It was not ideal for us since we were looking forward to a good night/late sleep. We could hear the construction noise. The hotel is very standard, same with the room. It was a little disappointing that the room was hot and icky when we checked in - AC was at 70 but it was already 8pm-, but after like 2 hours or so it got fresher (AC was lowered to 65). Night staff was welcoming, day staff was indifferent. Overall, not bad. I would avoid if you want to wake up after 7am.

We have stayed at a number of Marriott hotels and this one is friendly, clean, and quiet despite being so close to 6th St. Breakfast selections very good. Within walking distance to everywhere. Definetly recommend when you visit Austin. Parking can be either valet or if your lucky enough to find a park across the street if you are not needing valet or your vehicle while you are there you can certainly save a lot of your dollars. Valet is a little on the expensive side.

The lobby and restaurant were very cold. There was a 25.00 mandatory daily charge. You can use it for food and beverages, but the hotel restaurant was cold and very understaffed. We used our daily charge for lunch which took about an hour and 45 minutes each time. The server was very nice, but there appeared to be only 1 or 2. At check in they forgot to give me the daily food and beverage credit ticket but I was able to get it and go back and pay for lunch.

Wasn't fond of the loud exterior noise even being on the 7th floor (even with a white noise machine). The breakfast Buffett ($22 per person) was expensive for the quality/amount. The staff at the restaurant should have been friendlier our first 2 days visiting. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating!

The staff was a amazing. The Valet service was fast. Barbara at the front dest was amazing. When she learned it was our anniversary she went above and beyond to make our stay great. The restaurant was great. Thw Burgers were excellent highly recommended. The crabcake hush puppies were a 10/10 appetizer. The Bartender Rashad had a great personality and a excellent job recommending drinks, food and other Bars to visit. The hotel is walking distance from the stae Capital and River.

Everything was excellent....Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Everyone....all the staff....from checking in to the maids, wait staff and more....were top notch. I will definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends and family.
