The hotel is very central, but just of the main tourist path, so it is quiet. The breakfast buffet was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a short walk to Karlsplatz and to Marienplatz, so excellent transportation links.

I had a 20 hour layover and went to old town area to check it out. This hotel was easy to use the train. Airport train ticket guy explained everything and made it is and worry free. 7 euro each way. 10 minute walk to hotel from Marianplatz station stop. What a view when you come up from the train. This hotel had great friendly staff, outstanding breakfast, close to all the coolest sites, restaurants, pubs, shopping. Wish I could have stayed another day. Bed was comfy.
